This statement is very telling, coming as it does from a climate scientist:
“Fossil fuels are still the cheapest way to provide reliable electricity,” said Ken Caldeira, a climate scientist at the Carnegie Institution for Science. (While wind and solar can be cheaper than fossil fuels in some cases, their intermittency — and the absence of cheap, big batteries — mean that it’s difficult to build an entire electricity system out of just renewable energy.) “It’s like Maslow’s hierarchy of needs,” Caldeira said. “Developing countries have to put climate concerns second to their economic concerns.”
If anything, the situation is worse than portrayed, as China’s economy has still been hamstrung by brutal Covid lockdowns during 2022.
Anybody with an ounce of common sense would have known this was going to happen. And that emissions will carry on rising while ever developing nations want to grow their economies, or until something better than fossil fuels comes along.
It shows just how divorced from reality those pushing Net Zero agendas really are.
Organizations at the feeding trough to get their share of the fake climate crisis, CO2 cash cow the past 3 decades:
The increase in CO2 continues to offset much of the other environmental problems caused by humans to the biosphere.
The increase in CO2 is actually is BEST thing about human technology/industry and it repairs some of the damage that we do to the environment.
The increase in beneficial CO2 emissions rescued the planet from dangerously low levels(almost CO2 starvation 150 years ago). We are still only half the optimal level for life.
Not by coincidence, many of the entities focusing on cutting CO2 emissions have self serving interests/benefits and many of them completely ignore the MUCH, MUCH more damaging environmental disasters around us.
Ironically, their solution for saving the planet.......IS WRECKING THE PLANET.
Wind is the environmental energy source from hell along with batteries tearing up the earth mining. ......while the real green energy is the one that's caused the planet to massively green up.
But they call it carbon pollution so that they can use crony capitalism, corrupt political/governments, biased, non scientific method, scientists being funded and uneducated environmentalists that are very sincere and with the right intentions but gullible who believe things without applying critical thinking and authentic science.
