My younger brother collected beer cans(starting from elementary school age).

He also collected cicada shells.............you know, the empty remains of the outside cavity/shell of their body stuck on the sides of trees after they emerge from under the ground.

Doesn't look like to many stamp collectors here. My Dad was one and he turns 93 next month. 

Since we don't know diddly about stamp collecting, it would be interesting(as least to me) to hear about it from you...............and learn something new!

You are probably right Carl. 

When I stay with my dad, I spend much of the day playing Youtube videos for him on his tv about things that interest him.

History, science, religion, inventors, cars, sports..........the subjects are endless.

On a visit a couple of years ago, I played every stamp collecting video I could find on the internet for him.   He was a big stamp collector.
