There are some crazy things going on in our country that make no sense.
One of them is the fake green energy that's wrecking the planet to replace the energy sources that have greened up the planet (rescuing life from dangerously low levels of this beneficial gas) and increased food production by 26%, just from the positive impacts of CO2 emissions.
Wind and batteries are the most ANTI environmental sources used to produce/store energy that exist.
However, the use of junk science and crony capitalism schemes that defy the laws of physics, science, energy and economics have been repeated a million times, to the point that people actually believe it.

There are people older than Biden who are sharper than me......like Bernie Sanders.
However, some people experience cerebral deterioration earlier and faster than others.
And the rate of deterioration almost always accelerates with age.
An average person from 30 to 40 or 40 to 50 for instance is still close to their mental prime.
Some people start to lose sharpness from 50 to 60. Many start to see it from 60 to 70. Most see it from 70 to 80 but the important thing to know is that once it starts........its pretty slow and may not be noticeable for several years.
Once it become noticeable, the losses in 4 years can be greater than the losses of the previous 10 years with a rate that varies for each person.
Knowing this indisputable but varying rate, we can guess that 4 years from now, Biden will lose an additional amount of something like the equivalent of what he's lost the last 10 years.
In 2014, when Biden was VP, very few people were concerned about his mental sharpness. The difference then and when this video was shot in 2007 was minuscule.
Compare the incredible drop in Biden's ability to communicate, (even being challenged much of the time to read a teleprompter) between 2014 and 2024. theres a great chance that in 4 years, 2028 he will lose the same amount that took him 10 years To lose initially.
So his losses from 71 to 81 will be doubled from 81-85.
One can make an extremely strong case that he's too old right now.
In a few years it will be even more embarrassing. This should disqualify him from being the president of the United States by itself.

Larry, this message below is NOT for you because you and a few others NEVER let politics damage friendships and I agree with your previous post as it relates to the far right MUCH of the time. Though I agree strongly with NOT signing this horrible bill.
The 2 political sides in this case are battling over items they want in blatantly destructive realms to our country to spend over 100 billion of our tax dollars in such a despicable fashion that its pathetic.
It's like both parties at vying to see who can mess up our country and world the worst.

Something about their affiliation with the network makes them feel privileged and this affinity is likely what drives the viewers to defend the network so vehemently. They seem to identify with it at a core level, because it tells them they are special and privy to something the rest of us don’t have. It’s akin to the loyalty one feels by being let into a private club or a gang. That effect is also likely to make the propaganda more powerful, because it goes mostly unquestioned.
In considering these tactics and their possible effects on American public discourse, it is important to note that historically, those who’ve genuinely accessed truth have never berated those who did not. You don’t get honored by history when you beat up your opponent: look at Martin Luther King Jr., Robert Kennedy, Abraham Lincoln. These men did not find the need to engage in othering, ad homeinum attacks, guilt by association or bullying. This is because when a person has accessed a truth, they are not threatened by the opposing views of others. These individuals are hostile and angry precisely because they don’t feel confident in their own veracity. And in general, the more someone is losing their temper in a debate and the more intolerant they are of listening to others, the more you can be certain they do not know what they’re talking about.
One final observation. Fox audiences, birthers and Tea Partiers often defend their arguments by pointing to the fact that a lot of people share the same perceptions. But, the fact that a lot of people believe something is not necessarily a sign that it’s true; it’s just a sign that it’s been effectively marketed.
As honest, fair and truly intellectual debate degrades before the eyes of the global media audience, the quality of American democracy degrades along with it.

Why is the Biden administration allowing this?
A possible answer can be found in an executive order that Biden signed on the first day of his presidency. It reverses former President Trump’s memorandum that excluded undocumented immigrants from the decennial census that is used to determine how many seats states will have in the House of Representatives.
Undocumented migrants tend to settle in Democratically controlled cities that have adopted sanctuary policies that protect them from the threat of deportation, so any additional seats are likely to benefit the Democrats.
Biden claims that our “elected representatives have a responsibility to represent the interests of all people residing in the United States and affected by our laws.”
Mark Krikorian, the executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, points out that, “Illegal immigrants aren’t even supposed to be here, so their inclusion in the census count for purposes of apportionment really is outrageous.”
Trump’s exclusion of undocumented migrants from the census was never implemented.
There are at least two other possible explanations for releasing millions of illegal border crossers into the country.
1) To make asylum available to more asylum seekers
According to TRAC Immigration, the growth of the backlog has been accelerating at a breakneck pace since the start of the Biden administration, which has buried the immigration court in an avalanche of cases. As of the end of January 2024, the backlog had 3,363,667 cases.
The immigration court has more than 700 judges and the administration has requested funding for 375 more. But the Congressional Research Service (CRS) estimated in a July 2023 report that it would take 1,349 judges 10 years to clear the backlog, which was only 1,979,313 cases when CRS made that calculation.
2) To fill job vacancies
We do need more immigrants to fill job openings. According to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, we have 9.5 million job openings in the U.S., but only 6.5 million unemployed workers.
According to projections from the Congressional Budget Office, the surge in immigration that began in 2022 is expanding the labor force.
But Biden didn’t screen the illegal border crossers to determine whether they would be willing and able to fill our job openings.

At first, that’s exactly what I thought and still understand that but then, I decided to look at it from the other side and see it that way now.
So this is the other side.
The Ds and Biden did nothing for 3 years. Intentionally nothing which is why it was especially bad. 7.2 million people entered our country illegally.
That’s more than the population of 36 out of our 50 individual states. Only the 14 most populous states have a population of greater than 7.2 million, to express that clearly.
Then…….the side intentionally doing this sees the election coming and gets religion. Suddenly they want to fiX their problem and suddenly they finally agree with the Rs….just in time for the election.

I get that it could have been partially fixed by this very flawed bill that would have made it better but still not right.
Should the Rs have agreed to make it better but still not right and tell Americans, “sorry, you all, we don’t want to look bad so we had to agree to this bill because it’s better than before”?
My current opinion is that Ds should be held accountable in the only way us voters have any power.
If the D bill, also included restitution and suddenly, 7.2 million people would go back to where they came from AND it was the best solution not just better than incredibly horrible, then I would be in strong favor Of the Rs agreeing.
But it wasn’t and they didn’t fall for it.
There needs to be accountability for the incredibly disastrous 3 years and 7.2 people gushing in, most of whom are good people that want a benter life…….but every single one of them is here illegally! Breaking our laws by being here.
even worse is that a very significant minority number are bad people. Some are just dangerous criminals that their countries wer glad to dump on us.
worstof all is that an unknown but likely significant number are here with a main purpose of hurting our country. Many of them plotting terrorist acts that would have been impossible living outside of the United States.
1% is a small fraction but 1% of 7 million people is 70,000.
If 99% of the illegal people in this country don’t want to do harm to us, we’re good, right?
70,000 bad people are enough to cause multiple 9-11s, along with all sorts of less extreme type damage.
This isn’t just a theory. They ARE here, as part of the 7.2 million that got in so easy.
The main uncertainty is with regards to the magnitude of the significant number of them.
How do we get them out?
Its too late, man. We lost the opportunity at the border.
Now, the best chances will come from busting them breaking laws AFTER they do damage and hurt people/our country.
Yeah, I would say that the party and people that have caused this to happen should suffer the maximum accountability in November….even with most of the damage being done that has made our country much less safe and all of our lives less safe.
There are so many different countries and so many different reasons that highly motivated people have to hurt us with in so many different ways that are easier inside our country.
China, Russia, the Middle East, North Korea. We have given them plenty of incentive……and let their nefarious operatives enter via the southern border.
We have 200,000+ military stationed around the world and trillions of dollars invested in ventures in other countries related to our interests.
And we just intentionally let in 7.2 million people illegally and not vetted to our own country.
We have no idea of their background and where they are Living for many of them.
This isn’t a matter of just finding them and deporting them. For most of the bad guys, we will only learn about them by tracking their bad behavior and/or crimes.
Like him or not the Trump policies had tremendously slowed the problem. Even with the dems cutting money for the wall. The stay in Mexico policy could be reinstated without congress doing anything if the dems wanted to solve the problem

I too appreciate when a person from 1 party, sees what the right thing to do is and jumps ship to join forces with the other party in a sign of unity to do the right thing. That ain't it by any honest measure this time.

I read you loud and clear on that, Jean.
I apply that frame of mind to personal relationships and sometimes other places but have to be careful. If it's a family member indoctrinated with a political or other position, its not worth wrecking the relationship.
Sometimes people are just passing on lies that they got from their sources telling them what they want to hear/read.
And in today's world, where so much of what we get from our sources is manufactured, people are just getting conditioned to making stuff up on their own to support whatever it is they want to believe. Very sad, really.
However, when watching tv or news sources on the internet, one would have to stop watching every source out there if using that principle.
Most of them are battling to get viewers/readers and know that telling people what they want to hear/read is the way to do it. This results in distorting the truth, embellishing and outright, intentional lies at times which always lean to 1 side.
If you discarded all of them........you have no news sources left!
So I try to USE all of them and have become pretty good at discarding the chaff (lies) and keeping the wheat(truth).
But also understanding the position, even when its built on complete nonsense and doing extensive research to debunk it with authentic data/facts/evidence.
Admittedly, knowing the truth and observing corrupt, elite people having the control for their self serving interests and nefarious objectives is sometimes depressing/frustrating. Exposing them here, at least is speaking out and fighting for truth, which is all that most of us can do.

I accepted that 2nd one many years ago and NOTHING bothers me, personally that much about the fake climate crisis anymore. I'll put up some strong debunking arguments but, personally accept that the other side will never listen.
That first one, however has become VERY upsetting recently because I HAVE NOT accepted it going on indefinitely/forever and MANY people are dying every day because of it.
