While Biden is likely taking a controlled dose of this drug and others daily, it's failing to stop the slow decline overall. Before huge events, like the state of the union, they likely pump him up with a large amount that would cause massive side effects if administered daily. So it would be impossible for him to continue at his best which only occurs during brief periods with unsustainable high doses of these stimulant drugs.
