Hunter Biden found guilty on all counts in federal gun case

The president's son was charged in federal court in Delaware with three counts tied to possession of a gun while using narcotics. He had pleaded not guilty.

You'll note this was my first post on the topic.

It's a totally fine topic to post here(I'm surprised others didn't start a thread) and I'll always comment if others want to start a discussion, regardless on the topic.

However, on this, I feel its more nonsense.

OF COURSE HE WAS GUILTY OF THIS DUMB CHARGE!

The defense was absurd. That on that particular day when he signed the document, that he really wasn't using drugs and didn't think that he was an addict(after having already gone thru a drug rehab program previously in his life where they TEACH YOU what that means-so he can't feign ignorance).

However, what's ludicrous is that the seriousness of this minuscule infraction is like .00001 compared to all his other crimes, acting as an illegal foreign lobbyist for years for  his corrupt father's business of selling the "Biden Brand", to the tune of tens of millions to benefit the Biden crime family.

Using the office of VP of the United States to extort money from foreign countries for personal gain.

After this verdict, the Ds want us to think, not only that justice is fair for both sides but that Hunter is actually a victim because he's the son of Joe Biden.

This is a nothing crime.

How many people applying for a gun(that clearly want a gun) would fill out an application in a completely honest way that admits to doing illegal things, knowing it means not getting a gun?

That's silly, man.

That's what he did. He lied about using drugs on an application in order to get a gun.

How does this compare to Trump's convictions?

Do we think that he will be fined $500 million?

Do we think that this will strongly impact whether he will be president of the United States or not?

Do we think anybody will/will not vote for his dad because of this nothing conviction?

Do we think that, now that the justice system has proven to  NOT BE ABLE TO PROTECT Hunter Biden on this  nothing charge (even though they got busted trying to do that in the beginning) that we should assume that he must NOT have done all the corrupt things he did, using his father's position as VP because this means the justice department can't possibly be protecting him of that?

Sort of like a person that spent years breaking into houses and businesses to rob them of valuables, then focusing on  convicting them of a parking ticket violation  and using that to represent justice!

And its the complete inverse of Trump.

Hunter did tons of huge crimes and only gets charged with a nothing.

Trump does nothing legally wrong (for the 3 prosecutions so far) and get charged with everything but the kitchen sink of manufactured crimes.

ISN'T IT STILL A MANDATORY 5 YEARS FOR THE DRUGS & LYIN' ON HIS APP?  HE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BE PARDONED!

Let’s see whether or not Biden actually pardons him after the election. He absolutely should be allowed based on the Trump pardons. Trump too full advantage of the pardon power imo and that’s putting it mildly. I’d like to see a reduction in this power.

Thanks!

As expected, the Ds and justice department and MSM are insisting that this means the justice system is blind.

I would say that would be true........if they had decided to manufacture 34 crimes out of this and if the evidence was flimsy and based on NOT credible sources (one that stole from Trump and hates him and spent time in prison for lying-the other that used extortion on him, then broke the legal contract, then was found liable for 500,000+ in his attorney's fees by an honest judge and admitted to hating him first thing in her testimony).

And if they follow up with several more like that but not on Hunter ON JOE!

The Ds/justice/MSN using this as an apples to apple comparison between Trump and Hunter got their fruits/vegetables wrong.

How about the difference between the Trumpkin and the Bidenseed (-:

What does this post have to do with Hunter Biden or this case?

NOT A DANG THING!

But you might have learned a few things and for sure were more entertained, regardless of your political party or opinion about the Biden's!

Hunter is convicted of a nothing crime, while all his real crimes go UNprosecuted because those crimes were the result of "The Big Guys" involvement.

There is so, SO MUCH MORE to this than the gun violation distraction:

Oh, Hunter just got convicted of a gun violation.........so that's the same thing.

But Hunter just got convicted of being dishonest on a gun application. so Justice is blind. Right.

Joe Biden has flat out said that he will not pardon Hunter. We’ll see but he’s nothing like the professional liar that Trump is.

President Joe Biden said he would not pardon his son Hunter amid an ongoing felony gun trial during a wide-ranging exclusive interview with ABC News anchor David Muir at the Normandy American Cemetery on the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

Muir asked Biden on Thursday if he would accept the outcome of his son's trial in Wilmington, Delaware, to which the president said, "Yes." Biden also said "yes" when asked by Muir if he would rule out a pardon for Hunter.

Thanks much, Larry.

I would venture to guess that almost every pardon in history was for a crime(s) MUCH more serious than for lying about using drugs on a gun application.

This was sort of like............of all of Hunters crimes, let's focus on the least serious of them and one that's independent of Joe and then spin it and use it as part of a marketing scheme to create a narrative about the fair justice system and the Biden's being treated the same as Trump.

This is an insult to people's intelligence..................never mind.

It's business as usual FOR BOTH PARTIES.

Regardless of this, I still think that Joe will withdraw because even an honest man with great agenda (not him) can't be the president when they are not capable of doing the key part of the job that requires a president in 2024 to give speeches and communicate in public.

This Hunter Biden nothing crime is just a distraction.

Gee, and I only wanted the pretend journalist {Muir} to ask just one question. Dear Joe, why did you feel the need  to go one of the world's most solemn events, fall asleep during the ceremony, leave early and most of all feel the need to plagiarize most of Ronald Reagan's speech. Could you have embarrassed Americans more?

LARRY, I REALLY DON'T BELIEVE IN PARDONS, ON ANY LEVEL.  IMO, IT DESTROYS THE CONCEPT OF "JUSTICE FOR ALL" .

1. GOOD BAD MONEY CAN BE MADE BY THE POTUS THAT DOES THE PARDONING.           2. IT MAKES A POTUS MORE LIKE A KING / QUEEN / A god.  3. IT'S A HUGE WASTE OF PEOPLES TIME & MONEY.  4.  IT PLAYS WITH THE EMOTIONS OF THE PUBLIC   5. THE GOOD LORD IS THE ONLY ONE THAT GRANTS REAL PARDONS.

THE LIST IS LONG AS TO WHY I DON'T BELIEVE IN PARDONS.

AS FOR BIDENS REMARKS TO THE PARDONING.  I CAN ALMOST HEAR HIM, NOW. "I MIS-SPOKE"  "I DIDN'T HEAR THE QUESTION PROPERLY"  "I NEVER SAID THAT!"  "WE'LL SEE HOW THE APPEALS PROCESS GOES"  "YADA YADA YADA.  LOL", AS HE GIVES HIS NOW FAMOUS EVIL SMIRK.& WALKS AWAY.

jean,

Agree 100% about presidents being allowed to pardon whoever they want with impunity.

Our Constitution has a separation of powers and the president shouldn't share the same power of the Supreme Court.......and as a single person!

Maybe, each Supreme Court Justice should be allowed to pardon whoever they want when they retire because they are part of the branch set up to actually do that? NOT!

That said, I think the majority of pardons come with a great deal of authentic information to support them(from entities that provide that to the president-not just cronies) and to right a wrong by the justice system or to recognize a reformed or good person that deserves the pardon.

However, there's no denying that this WILL BE abused by a politician that didn't get to be president without taking massive money and support from some nefarious sources that get busted for other crimes and are owed a favor.
