Wow! So, this election will be the first ever for which I can vote without any of those 3 families! That’s amazing.
Just the 2nd one for me and I'm 68 years old!!!
Also, in 10 of those 11 elections, Bush, Clinton and Biden won.
Hillary Clinton was the only person to drop the 3 family franchise ball.
Bush 1 did lose...........but it was to BILL Clinton in 1992.
Amazing that going back to when Jimmy Carter was in office in the late 1970's, only when Trump was in office for 4 years did the White House not have a Bush, Clinton or Biden in it.

The results above are interesting when using colors to display what party carried each district. Of course it shows the Rs dominate more RURAL AREAS and Ds dominate the URBAN AREAS.
BUT ONLY SINCE 2000!!!!
Prior to 2000, the party that won, usually carried both rural and urban areas!!!
These colorized maps, demonstrate exactly where the polarization is and WHEN it started to ramp up!
Sadly, it has escalated every year since 2000 and has NOT peaked yet, despite the fact that it is RIPPING OUR COUNTRY APART in 2024!!!!

And that was with Trump in power.
When he loses this time, he'll be on the outside looking it. He may have plenty of Rs in office that he controls but they will face the exact same legal limitations to how far they were able to go 4 years ago.

There were ZERO scenario's that would have featured it being a successful coup.
Despite the fact that Trump violated the Constitution and his oath to defend it and was a traitor to American democracy after he lost..........he never came anywhere close to being successful...............with his first time in history tactics coming like a sneak attack, with many never anticipating it..........but still able to EASILY STOP IT.
With so many people recognizing what happened and nobody surprised if another attempt is made, does that make it more or less likely that we will be prepared and effective at taking actions again to reject it?
Again, I understand why the far right R mentality plays into this but the left is also using it to scare people into thinking we have this fragile democracy that can easily be taken over by somebody like Trump.

This topic and mentality is what's KILLING the Rs.
They are losing many millions of people on just this by itself. How many are they gaining? Close to 0.
We know the exact person who is 100% responsible and the reason. Donald Trump because he lost in 2020!!
Interestingly, Hillary Clinton lost in 2016 and that side used their immense power to deny the results as being legit and to discredit Donald Trump's win and presidency.
Make no mistake, that was the entire reason for the 2.5 year corrupt Mueller investigation that continued 2 years after Mueller knew Trump was innocent of colluding with Russia to steal the election from Clinton.
Then, they decided to investigate people in Trumps orbit about anything they could. Getting them to lie under oath and charging them with crimes they committed BECAUSE OF the investigation.
During all that time, tricking people into thinking they were gathering evidence to charge Trump with collusion. 2.5 years of the media and Ds and Americans assuming they must be gathering a boat load of damning evidence.
After people think they know something, it's almost impossible to change their minds.
Then they released the report. TRUMP DID NOTHING WRONG!

There are hundreds of experts that focus on Trump's legacy, good and bad but almost none of them give the proper, extremely high weighting to this topic.
His profoundly negative impact in this realm is unprecedented.
