My wife controls the whats on the tube in the evenings most of the time and she insisted on NOT watching this.
However, she dozed off in her recliner late in the evening, which gave me a chance to hear much of Biden's speech.
I'm sure others speaking earlier did a much better job but one of Biden's last significant speech's, for me was just horrible and good reinforcement/reminder for why Ds rejected this guy a month ago.
This is the Democratic National Convention to enthusiastically celebrate and focus on their candidate and their future.........Biden was NOT on board with that idea.

Sorry if I have to sound/read like a biased R but my view comes from a position of trying to see his speech objectively.
He was clearly angry, the exact opposite demeanor to have at an event like this. He was defensive and focused on himself, not VP Kamala or her accomplishments or her qualifications........the exact opposite of what to discuss at an event like this.
He bragged about HIS accomplishments using distortions and lies, like Trump does. For instance, he claimed that his administration improved the trade deficit with China. WRONG. He claimed that billionaires pay only 8% income tax. WRONG, it's 23% according to CNNs fact check of him after his speech.
He claimed that he helped schools get back open after COVID. Wrong! Although I'm extremely grateful to him for getting Paxlovid on the market so quickly and for free which may have saved my wife's life in early June, 2022.

Also, Just days after Tim Walz pledged that Democrats wouldn’t call their opponents names, Biden called Trump a “loser,” a “liar,” a “felon” and a “sucker.”
I have no doubt that he did give it his best for 5 decades, including the corrupt money generating schemes for Biden family enrichment with him and "the smartest man he knows" joining forces in Ukraine and other countries to extract double digit millions from corrupt players(instead of doing his job to fight corruption there- he used his job to participate in the corruption to benefit the Biden's USING UNITED STATES TAX PAYER MONEY AND INFLUENCE PEDDLING)

Outside of Putin, he is the person MOST responsible for the war in Ukraine and the horrific consequences for 2.5 years...........always sold as a con with propaganda that we are "supporting Ukraine" or "we are supporting democracy". Other presidents, like Bush and his war in Iraq are just as bad or even worse but make no mistake, he, his brother Jim and son Hunter go down in history as having the biggest self enriching, corrupt arrangement with corrupt players in foreign countries that paid tens of millions to the Biden CRIME FAMILY.

What's absurdly ironic, is that the "phone call to Ukraine" that got Trump impeached in 2020 was an attempt by Trump to, NOT DIG UP MANUFACTURED DIRT BUT TO SHOW LEGIT. EVIDENCE OF THE BIDEN FAMILY'S REAL CORRUPTION.
And our corrupt D politicians fought back against the truth by impeaching the person seeking the truth.
