A source involved in the negotiations for a hostage deal has assailed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for statements he made at a forum of bereaved families and families of hostages, allegedly calling for Israel to maintain a presence along the Egypt-Gaza border. This has been a sensitive point in the talks so far.
According to one source, Netanyahu is "once again sabotaging the talks" for the release of the hostages. "His statements indicating that Israel would not withdraw from the Gaza-Egypt border, at a time when sensitive negotiations are underway for finding a solution there, only make it more difficult to find a solution, increasing suspicions, signaling to Hamas and the mediators that Netanyahu is uninterested in a deal."

Similar rating scale for Russians. The MSM and politicians use propaganda that reports that dead Russians are a good thing and we celebrate news about this. Back to Gaza. Many people mainly want the hostages returned because they have the highest value a human can have, coming from Israel.

Seriously, this is clearly not something that Israel and Hamas want and Blinken has an impossible task, however he and Biden should stop claiming they are on the verge of a cease fire agreement or making great progress.
This administration has completely lost credibility as a source of reliable information with regards to what both sides want. They have been most focused on sending propaganda marketing messages to mislead people about how great negotiators they are.
