The federal government routinely revises economic data, but it rarely makes a correction as large as it did on Wednesday, when the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported America’s economy created 818,000 fewer jobs than it initially thought over the past year.
The new data comes at a politically consequential moment, as Vice President Kamala Harris tries to ride momentum as Democrats’ new presidential nominee and rewire voters’ perceptions of the Biden administration’s economy.
if anyone thinks when big gov misses giving a timely and accurate number by over 800,000 or some 30% all to the favor of a party actually on tv spouting the opposite was a mistake they are ill. Funny when those number finally creep out. Much like when our current AG and doj release certain damaging findings late on a Friday, then the media cover for them and pooof its over and gone. Last nite at the dnc charade, they got an interview with this lady who had this 10 word wok title like Chief head big guy of the bureau of labor statistics or some such. Anyway they ask about these make believe numbers and she first those numbers are fake. Then she says they have to more Trump lies. After the 3rd time she is ask she says well I know nothing about those numbers. Holy shit, this is our gov at work right there big as Dallas as old Kennedy says
