Worst/dumbest, crony capitalism idea in history!!!!!!!!!!!!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llcvrKDJRo0

This is greatly  being funded by the Biden/Harris Inflation Reduction Act! (Climate bill renamed as a marketing scheme to sell it to people as something it isn't).

https://www.marketforum.com/forum/topic/108241/#108309

173 billion dollars in tax payer subsidies over the next 10 years!!!!!!

The impact of this on climate change is .000001%. In other words NO impact, yet that is how its being forced on us with that completely bogus justification.

Maps of Proposed CO2 Pipeline Infrastructure Nationwide

This would be completely INSANE, even if there was a real climate crisis!

This is a TRILLION DOLLAR INDUSTRY for the crony capitalists in cahoots with our corrupt government.

Americans DO NOT WANT THIS PIPELINE!

If they knew how dangerous, expensive and WORTHLESS it would be (in fact its totally, 100% ANTI environmental) they would be especially outraged!!!

This is what they propose:

metmike: CO2 is much heavier than ambient air so a rupture of a pipeline, instead of featuring the CO2 spewing out and dispersing, results in the CO2 HUGGING THE GROUND to a depth above where humans can breathe!

It spreads out and blankets the ground until being dispersed. Before it's dispersed and diluted, people in the path will suffer serious health issues that include death for those close to the rupture.

This CO2 is:

Very concentrated. In normal ambient air, CO2 is .04% or 4 parts/million. In the pipeline, the amount is nearly 100% or 1,000,000 parts/million.

2. Its under pressure, a liquid and super heavy, so the amount that spreads out after a rupture as it turns back into a gas in enormous, greatly exceeding the volume/coverage of the area of the pipeline its gushing out from. Many millions of times more area AND IT HUGS THE GROUND WHERE HUMANS AND OTHER O2 BREATHING CREATURES ARE.

3. These pipelines would be the quintessentially perfect targets for terrorists.

4. The soil the pipelines are buried under will experience shifts from changes in rain and freezing temperatures. Droughts shrink the soil, excessive rains expand the soil. Some of the pipelines will go under roads, where they remain more stable in the ground, while being surrounded by pipeline in the soil THAT SHIFTS WITH SOIL MOISTURE/TEMPERATURES. This will create tremendous stress on pipelines surrounding roads, with ruptures probable in spots with the highest stress.

5. Shifts in tectonic plates and even mild earthquakes are the recipe for ruptures.

6. CO2 is a beneficial gas, with an optimal level for life of 900 parts per million. We are currently at just below 430 parts per million, less than half the optimal level.

7. Note the SCIENTIFICALLY AUTHENTICATED IMPACTS OF HUMAN EXPOSURE TO EXTREME LEVELS OF CO2 IN THE AIR BELOW.

10,000 ppm (1.0%) Typically no effects, possible drowsiness
15,000 ppm (1.5%) Mild respiratory stimulation for some people
30,000 ppm (3.0%) Moderate respiratory stimulation, increased heart rate and blood
pressure, ACGIH TLV-Short Term
40,000 ppm (4.0%) Immediately Dangerous to Life or Health (IDLH)
50,000 ppm (5.0%) Strong respiratory stimulation, dizziness, confusion, headache, shortness
of breath
80,000 ppm (8.0%) Dimmed sight, sweating, tremor, unconsciousness, and possible death

Pipeline concentration: 1,000,000 ppm, more than 10 times the lethal dose

What is an acceptable CO2 level in a room?

Normal CO2 levels in fresh air is approximately 400 ppm (part per million) or 0.04% CO2 in air by volume. The table below shows the effects of increased CO2 levels in an enclosed space.

400 ppm
0.04%
Normal outdoor air
400-1,000 ppm
0.04-0.1%
Typical CO2 levels found indoors
1,000-2,000 ppm
0.1-0.2%
Common complaints of drowsiness or poor air quality
2,000-5,000 ppm
0.2-0.5%
Headaches, fatigue, stagnant, stuffiness, poor concentration, loss of focus, increased heart rate, nausea
> 50,000 ppm
> 5%
Toxicity due to oxygen deprivation occurs
> 100,000 ppm
> 10%
Oxygen deprivation in seconds: convulsions, coma, and death

~1,000,000 ppm /  Concentration in CO2 pipelines: 10 times the lethal amount

Outside of corrupt entities enriching themselves and political/governmental  agenda, why in the heck would anybody that knows even part of these facts entertain the idea of imposing this on Americans????

Jobs?

We would be much better off by paying 1,000 people to dig holes in the ground and paying another 1,000 people to fill the holes.

At least then, the biggest risks to people would be tripping over the holes before they get filled and blisters on the workers hands

Natural gas pipelines suffer hundreds of leaks and ruptures every year.

You can smell natural gas. CO2 is odorless and colorless. The main indicator that a plume of concentred CO2 has overtaken you is"…..being suffocated with no warning sign like the smell of natural gas. It happens fast and you can’t use smell to tell you which direction to go for safety.

America's  Dangerous Pipelines

2014 Analysis  by Richard Stover, Ph.D., and the Center for Biological Diversity

An analysis of oil and gas pipeline safety in the  United States reveals a troubling history of spills, contamination, injuries and  deaths.

https://www.biologicaldiversity.org/campaigns/americas_dangerous_pipelines/

According to the data, since 1986 there have been nearly  8,000 incidents (nearly 300 per year on average), resulting in more than 500  deaths (red dots on the video), more than 2,300 injuries (yellow dots on the  video), and nearly $7 billion in damage.

Since 1986 pipeline accidents have spilled an  average of 76,000 barrels per year or more than 3 million gallons. This is  equivalent to 200 barrels every day.

And we're supposed to believe that CO2 pipelines will be safe????

At least with gas and oil pipelines, we are transporting something of great value that makes a great positive contribution to our lives.

What are the CO2 pipelines contribution?

Mostly benefits to crony capitalists in cahoots with corrupt government AT THE EXPENSE of US citizens based on COST and RISKS.

++++++++++++

How ironic below that the same environmental groups drawing attention to risks to pipelines loaded with fossil fuels that have lifted us out of poverty and petroleum products that make many thousands of everyday items and are used to heat/cool our homes and are used to make all synthetic fertilizers that cause huge crops to be harvested each year...............are silent on the hazards of CO2 sequestration that has NONE OF THOSE BENEFITS.

Pipeline Incident Statistics Reveal Significant Dangers

The US needs to stop the fossil fuel epidemic and transition as quickly as possible to clean energy sources that do not leak, spill, or explode, and will help protect our clean air, clean water, communities, and wildlands.
