a guy on CNN said some of them are the size of a school bus!
that’s not a hobbyist.
this is dangerous to airplanes and a potential threat to national security.
i say shoot them down because clearly the news has been out that they shouldn’t be there and the,people responsible don’t care because they must have some objective that is not good.
if it was good, they would simply identify themselves and their reason for being there night after night. Sounds like they might be spy drones gathering information?i

The White House on Monday put out its most detailed statement yet on a flurry of drone sightings that have been reported across the Northeast in recent weeks.
"We assess that the sightings to date include a combination of lawful commercial drones, hobbyist drones and law enforcement drones, as well as manned fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters and even stars that were mistakenly reported as drones," John Kirby, the National Security Council spokesperson, told reporters Monday.
"We have not identified anything anomalous or any national security or public safety risk over the civilian airspace in New Jersey or other states in the Northeast," he added. "The work continues."

this sounds similar to the false narratives that we heard for 2+ years that there was no crisis at the southern border. just the same issues that have always been there.
in the 3rd year, they acknowledged A problem but told us they were fixing it.
in the final year, they proposed a preposterous fix that the Rs rightfully voted against, then they claimed that the Rs were the problem because they were blocking the preposterous fix based on Trump ordering them to do that.
Harris finally went to the southern border just before the election and told Americans that she was strong on border security and would fix the border problem that the Rs caused if we elected her.
towards the end of the FINAL year, Americans were fed up with their constant BS and in November, gave a crystal clear sign to them using the power of our democracy WITH A LANDSLIDE MESSAGE!

I'm not sure what to think. I've changed my initial thoughts about shooting them down.
Who would do the identity verification and who would do the shooting and what would be the criteria???
There's so many objects in the sky that this would be an impossible situation.
After the drone is shot down, then it would need to be retrieved.
Thinking about how so people can get caught up believing conspiracy theories and believing disinformation it's entirely conceivable that this is nothing more than another case of that because our night skies in the year 2024 are loaded with legit objects that were not there to this extend a couple of decades ago.
When you have dozens of stories like this in the news, people are suddenly making assumptions about the objects and looking for them in the skies in a way that has never happened before.
The vast majority of reports are about objects that have a right to be there but people are confused. So which objects are NOT supposed to be there or really are something to be concerned about????
