He's the worst person I know of  for this job but that answer should result in him immediately being replaced.

This is the Secretary of Health and Human Services. He just completely abdicated his  extremely important role in the field of vaccines for our health.

So there's only 1 way that I can think of at the moment to interpret this answer:

Since he has been advocating far all sorts of things, including wacko, unconventional treatments, we know that when he believes in something he DOES strongly advocate for it. His refusing to advocate for the measles vaccine, in fact refusing to answer the question  means  that he must still  be against the measles vaccine but won't say it. This makes the most sense because of his long history of being ANTI vax and we already knew this about him.

It tells us that he was lying before getting appointed to this position, insisting that he's not anti Vax anymore. 

This is insane. To have the most powerful person for US health care and vaccines being anti vax. 

People WILL die because of this nut case being in this position. 

This would be like having the commissioner of baseball not understanding what the rules are for teams in the playoffs. Or how players get selected to play in the All Star game. 

We knew this already about him and why he's not qualified but an anti vax person should NEVER be the Secretary of Health.

We know he has this job only because Trump is rewarding him for dropping out of the race and throwing his support to Trump before the November 2024 election. This is a horrible way to select a person to fill a key position.

Bad enough that Trump nominated the worst person possible to do this job to pay back a favor but Rs in Congress, despite knowing who he is still confirmed him.

ANYBODY would have been better than him.
