When I make points or ask a question and get an unrelated response I'm inclined to throw up my hands and give up.

I freely admit I have a bias towards Israel.   But I am capable of being critical.  Here is my big problem with Israel.

The ultra religious Jewish settlers in the West Bank who believe God gave them this land and that justifies pushing Palestinians off their land.  This is happening slowly but steadily.  Not all of the ultra Orthodox Jews are bad, but the government looks the other way when the bad ones break the law.  

The Muslim religious zealots are just as bad (probably worse).  They believe that it is God's will that ALL lands conquered by Mohamed in the 7th century are forever Muslim.  That includes the entire Mideast and southern Spain.

How to deal with people who think they know God's will?  I have some choice words for the Christian nut jobs in this country but I'll save that for another time.

There will not be peace in the Mideast until the religious nut jobs on both sides of the conflict want peace.
