One of the most important points made by a newsman {certainly not cnn because they have not a single wise newsman} was the point of energy and just how damn lucky we have elected Trump and not the clowns that gave away most every energy advantage America had or could of had. Russia and Putin are fully aware of just what America could do and the leverage we have in this area. And the idiots in Europe that fell for Putin's easy energy are finding out thru various back channels....although MM keeps inferring its just Trump with his sudden new friends out of no where from Europe
As our President said today there is no deal until there is a deal and this energy situation in his back pocket makes it dead serious for Russia.
Thanks, mcfarm!
Biden with all his FAKE virtue signaling, net zero, no more fossil fuels and 1 trillion dollar fake inflation reduction act (climate bill which more about crony capitalism) was the administration that gushed more fossil fuels out than any other by wide margin!!!!
Trump ran on "drill baby drill" and Biden ran on zero carbon but the Biden administration gushed out far more fossils fuels.
More natural gas than Trump.
More crude oil than Trump.
The accurate data that indisputably proves that is below.

In-brief analysis
November 26, 2024
An average of 13.4 million barrels per day (b/d) of crude oil was produced in the United States during August 2024, a new record according to data from our Petroleum Supply Monthly. More crude oil was produced in the United States during August 2024 than during December 2023, when the previous monthly record of 13.3 million b/d was set.
In the first eight months of 2024, average monthly U.S. crude oil production only fell below 13.0 million b/d once, in January. For the full year of 2024, we forecast U.S. crude oil production will average 13.2 million b/d, according to our most recent Short-Term Energy Outlook, published on November 13. That volume would be more than the 2023 annual average of 12.9 million b/d, which is the current annual production record. In 2025, we forecast U.S. crude oil production will average 13.5 million b/d.
The United States became the world’s top crude oil producer in 2018, a position it has maintained each year since.
Trump is on Fox/Hannity.
Now this is more classical Trump.
He claims the meeting was a 10 on a scale of 1-10.
Seriously? No deals? No cease fire? but it was the highest rating he could give?
This is why Trump gets a 1 on that scale for credibility. He's brought up Biden half a dozen times. (update: more like a dozen times after the 30 minute interview ended)
Dude, YOU are the president. It's 2025!
He claims that Putin told him that he thought the United States was dead last year and can't believe how President Trump has brought us back to the greatest economy in the world.
Trump claims that his main priority is to save lives.
Right, I guess all those people dying in Gaza, where his last message to Netanyahu was "Finish the job" (killing them off) and sending millions of pounds of bombs to do it is because those people aren't human beings by his standard.!!!

Just finished watching the Hannity-Trump interview. Nothing of substance occurred earlier today. No agreements. No cease fire. Maybe another meeting in the future?? However, Trump and Hannity spun this to their viewers as if Trump accomplished a great deal.
The only accomplishment that I saw is that they met.
Not that I had high hopes but I did hope that something might occur. It didn't!
The last several weeks, Mr. Trump has insisted that if Putin didn't agree to a cease fire or to end the war there would be serious consequences.
What happened to that???
After listening to CNN and getting a reality check, it appears that Putin lectured Trump about the history of Russia and Ukraine TO JUSTIFY HIS WAR and got no push back from President Trump.
The meeting was much shorter than expected and as stated previously there were 0 agreements. Questions were not allowed after they came out.
Based on this, I would expect Putin to continue on his current path.
It's pretty amazing how President Trump is such a bully/pit bull when it comes to most people that he can or tries to push around but with Putin, he's a pussy cat.
I just don't get it. Why didn't President Trump insist on a cease fire and threaten major consequences to Putin for refusing when they were face to face???
+++++++++++++==
After the meeting, it was Putin, NOT Trump making demands.
Putin says that before any deals are made the root causes for the war must be fixed.
Trump's response? NONE! Just telling us that they worked out most of the things and only 1 big one remains. On what planet would they have worked things out or made agreements and Trump would be completely silent on it. ot able to actually mention 1 thing?
Trump has the biggest mouth on the planet. Even if some small items were worked out, he would shouting from the rooftops about it. Instead, he had nothing.
At least they met.
If Trump wants to be serious here, he needs to do things that don't punish US companies and consumers more than Russia!
His tariffs threat on countries that do business with Russia is a huge penalty to US companies. They are the ones that pay the tariff, which they pass on to US consumers that ultimately pay for it down the line.
This isn't speculation. That's how tariffs work.
Tariffs also destroy our long lived relationships with trading partners. This hurts ALL countries and helps nobody, except that Trump gets to collect the tariffs for our government and he somehow thinks is worth 20 times more damage.
Tariffs cause the US to be isolated as those countries replace business with the US with agreements with other countries. In many cases, it strengthens the bonds between our adversaries by forcing them to unite. When we lose business to India and China because of tariffs, for instance it actually creates incentives for them to trade MORE with Russia because Russia is giving them much better deals for the exact same products.
Trump is supposedly all about removing government controls on the citizens of the United States and allowing capitalism and free trade, not government dominating the rules of trading and penalizing companies and consumers with expensive regulations.
This administration claims:
The White House
"REDUCING GOVERNMENT OVERREACH: President Trump’s Executive Order is consistent with his Administration’s policy to dramatically reduce the size of the Federal Government, while increasing its accountability to the American people."
His tariffs schemes and especially the reasoning here(based entirely on a political position not economics or the principles of free trade) are the biggest government controlled, ANTI free trade ANTI capitalism policy by our government in the last century!
Government overreach on steroids!!
++++++++++++++
The reality is that Trump is reducing government overreach of things that he doesn't like(so that he can control them personally to some extent) but INCREDIBLY increasing government overreach, in fact to much more damaging levels in realms that give him, Donald Trump the power of the government to wield however he decides.
Taking over the National Guard with his governmental emergency powers as president and using it for his, Donald Trump, Federal government overreach defined law enforcement tool that literally, steals control of law enforcement from the hands of local law enforcement in Los Angeles and D.C(with them vehemently objecting and trying to stop him) for entirely political reasons is the quintessential example of blatant abuse of extreme governmental overreach, using it as a political weapon.
As mentioned 20 times, I voted for Trump because he promised to do his best to end the war in Ukraine ASAP(not believing 24 hours).
I will give President Trump tremendous credit. TREMENDOUS credit! for doing much more than Biden (who CAUSED the war by breaking off negotiations with Putin completely and provoking him to invade, as opposed to being at the negotiating table to discuss his beefs, which is entirely why Putin was threatening to invade).
The war could have been avoided but Ukraine would have had to swear off NATO membership from the get go, which NATO and Biden would never agree to so NATO and Biden ordered their puppet, Zelenensky to stop negotiating because NATO and Biden would defeat Russia, using the Ukraine army.
So they got most of the Ukraine army killed off(causalities) in addition to flushing hundreds of billions down the toilet from US tax payers and LOST THE WAR anyways. ..........while pretending they could win the war, with charismatic actor, Zelensky as the mascot selling the snake oil, to sucker US tax payers to keep supporting Zelensky, sending his brave soldiers on SUICIDE MISSIONS.
With the US military-industrial-political-media complex reaping massive benefits.
The biggest problem with this losing strategy is that they intentionally and completely ignored what Putin would obviously do to win the war. He was going to maximize the use of his army(that outnumbered Ukraine's by at least 3 to 1) to the point of sacrificing them at a greater rate than Ukraine army casualties to make his advantage being the current 10 to 1. Now, the Ukraine army with greatly depleted numbers is unable to stop Russia.
This is exactly what Putin fought to do. He won the war. Yes, he really did win the war. Pretending, like Adam Schiff stated on CNN last night that Ukraine is going to get back all the land that Russia won in the war AND get into NATO is complete ignorance.
This seems to still define what NATO wants and their puppet Zelensky.
So here's the thing. Trump has suddenly taken a pro NATO position in recent months to get his Nobel Peace Prize by the extremely pro NATO Nobel Bell Peace Prize committee.
Previously, he had the common sense, reality based position that Ukraine HAD TO give up land and HAD TO give up on NATO. When he became pro NATO, he had to abandon that position. However, that pro NATO position means any negotiating with Putin is COMPLETELY DEAD before it even starts.
Yesterday was evidence of that. Putin lectured Trump and others on the history of Russia and Ukraine and why he is completely justified. He has no intention of giving land back and will NEVER agree to NATO in Ukraine. NEVER EVER!
So poor President Trump has no chance to be a NATO man and at the same time, get any sort of war ending peace agreement. His hands are tied basically.
We saw his capitulation(at least for yesterday) and recognition of that with 2 comments yesterday.
1. When a discussion about future meetings between the 2 came up and Putin invited him to Moscow for the next meeting, his response was that he would be getting alot of heat for that. Hugh? Trump worrying about getting heat for his decisions??? That was the most disingenuous response of all. Trump clearly does not want another meeting because he knows its futile for him to be a NATO salesmen/representative in dealing with Putin.
2. Trump suggested that his work set the stage for NATO/Zelensky to take over and he's passing the baton. That is NOT President Trump verbiage when he decides he can make things happen using control from Donald Trump to do it. Trump knows what Putin's demands are and can't come close to matching them as a NATO salesmen.
I'm actually in strong agreement with Trump's position(from last year and early this year) which is ANTI NATO. That's always been the only one that can stop Putin from ADDING ON TO HIS GAINS in a war that he already won.
Like the late Pope Francis stated many deaths and losses ago, Ukraine needs to use the courage of the white flag to stop this.
A great analogy for traders here. When we trade, the most important objective is to not have a catastrophic loss that wipes out our entire account and leaves us with no more trading equity. Cut our losses and don't get married to a losing position. Don't use emotions and hope. Use discipline and solid trading principles.
Zelensky and NATO are violating that trading survival 101, basic strategy in the most extreme manner.
They have been long the Ukraine war for 3.5 years, in a collapsing market, while ADDING TO THE LONG POSITION on the way down which has caused the losses to be catastrophic. Not just monetary but land and worst of all, human lives that can never be replaced. The investment is now almost worthless but they still want to gush money in and are still trying to convince others to invest in a completely worthless investment that has a near ZERO chance of getting back everything that was lost. The money we flushed down the toilet is gone forever. All the brave soldier casualties are forever and losses to their families are forever. The hope that, somehow Ukraine is going to miraculously turn things around (with almost no army left) or negotiate to get all their land back AND get into NATO is completely delusional.
There only hope is:
1. Capitulate and concede/surrender to Russia in order to CUT THEIR LOSSES NOW.
2. NATO decide to declare war on Russia and replenish Ukraine army with troops from European countries. This actually is why Putin invaded Ukraine, to prevent NATO from declaring war on him is he invaded Ukraine which would happen if Ukraine became part of NATO. If this happened, we would have all out WW3 and it would get even bloodier because Putin has made it clear.............he is NOT letting NATO into Ukraine, no matter what the toll is to his country to take NATO out.

My favorite one, which makes this article a joke, the interview with Hannity a complete joke and this president a delusional joke:
Trump shared that Putin told him he believed the 2020 election was rigged because of the widespread mail-in voting, saying, "you can’t have a great democracy with mail-in voting."
After meeting the Russian president, President Trump told European leaders he now favors giving up territory Ukraine controls to Russia to end the fighting, a concession Ukraine has long opposed.

No mention about NATO??? This is OFF THE TABLE I believe with the Trump backed plan which has reverted to the Trump from earlier this year, before he shifted to a version that made NATO happy for his Nobel Peace Prize.
I am extremely supportive of this reversion back to the old Trump position, which was why I voted for him in November. It's the ONLY ONE that has any hope of stopping the war. NATO and puppet Zelensky are totally delusional to think that Russia, that decidedly won the war and is winning more every day will just give back the land and let Ukraine into NATO.
That would be like awarding the person/team that finished dead last in a long lived competition with the first place awards and sending the champion away with nothing.
The biggest difference is that Ukraine is losing more every day that it refuses to acknowledge the winner. More lives of brave soldiers with families. More land lost. More money flushed down the toilet for weapons/support (which is enriching our military-industrial-political-media complex that is the big benefactor with them having ZERO losses and pure profits).
Russia is losing lives and capital too but Putin considers them disposable pawns and an investment to get more of what he's after.
Putin is a diabolical killer and deserves prison, then to rot in hell. Unfortunately, that is not 1 of the options/choices for Ukraine/NATO. They can propagandize until the cows come home about justice or democracy or fake, twisted facts that trick people into supporting the war to stand up to Russia.......when the war, actually GAVE RUSSIA WHAT IT CONTINUES TO TAKE MORE OF EVERY DAY!!!!!
The only way to stop the war is to acknowledge the stone cold reality or authentic facts, then surrender to the winner of the war and agreeing to most of their terms. The cost of not doing that is MUCH GREATER than the cost of doing that and delaying that is just making it worse and worse and worse.
Ukraine is worse off now than 6 months ago, which was worse than 1 year ago, which was worse than 2 years and 3 years ago. And this never had to happen if Biden/NATO had not told Zelensky to shut off Putin negotiations and tell him that Ukraine was joining NATO. Geesh! That was the exact recipe for what has happened.
NATO/Biden/Zelensky were the worst military leaders in the history of the world. Getting most of their military wiped out by sending them on suicide missions, tremendous land losses. Many hundreds of billions of capital flushed down the drain. Tremendous supply side global inflation pressure.
All to get their arse's kicked badly because they maintain completely delusional thinking.......insisting on the winner's take with no concessions to the actual winner.
Cut you losses, man! It's better late than never because another 6 months or 1 year of this will just represent additional losses with no gains.
The sad thing is that the military-industrial-political-media complex sees ADDITIONAL GAINS by continuing the war.
They will continue to profit, as long as the war continues. It's not their brave sons/daughters/fathers dying or their money or their land. They should NOT be allowed to sacrifice all of those things which are ethnically, NOT theirs to give away.
+++++++++++++++++
This, actually is what I said but unlike Clinton, my nomination is not predicated on an impossible, delusional requirement that Putin give back all the land that he confiscated while winning the war.
Putin will NEVER agree to NATO in Ukraine. He might negotiate for some of the land but he will be keeping most of it and getting even more, the longer that NATO/Zelensky insist on unrealistic demands to get back all the land and for NATO to get Ukraine.
If NATO/Zelensky ever wake up (on this topic, Trump is actually the one seeing with crystal clarity when he thinks independent of pleasing NATO for his Nobel Peace Prize) then Trump COULD bring peace.
Not the kind of absurd, disingenuous peace agreement requirement for Hillary Clinton's Nobel Peace Prize nomination.
My nomination does not require anything. Just whatever it takes to bring peace(using common sense/cutting losses and reality). PEACE!
Trump is still the ONLY person with the right mentality(at times) and the power to bring peace.
+++++++++++++++
That said, I think that Trump made this meeting without being prepared properly for what his objective was. It appears that he was stimulated to do it because of the attention it would give him as the omnipotent one.
His adrenaline and ego were on steroids leading up to this meeting with the entire world covering it as the top story for days. President Trump the great negotiator getting ready to pull off something that nobody else has been able to do in 3.5 years. A direct meeting with Putin coming to the United States.
What was accomplished other than a meeting with Putin?
Putin did nothing but lecture on Russia/Ukraine history to justify his war. He didn't soften his position 1 iota, in fact just the opposite happened. Those hoping that Trump would give him some push back or pressure him for a cease fire or challenge him in any way were very disappointed.
It could potentially put Trump in a better position in the future but Trump seemed to back away from this, claiming its NATO and Zelensky that need to finish the deal with Putin.
Fox News, of course was able to generate their usual positive spin, where they take Trump horse manure and turn it into filet mignon and MAGA will eat it up every time.
However, I don't know if Trump thought this thing out very well. He seemed sort of lost after the meeting. Who was he representing? He seemed to completely abandon his hard line positions the last few months about severe penalties to Putin unless he agrees to an immediate cease fire. His deadlines...........gone. His threats of tariffs to other countries that do business with Russia........no mention. This is a win for Russia and loss for Trump's credibility as he goes back and forth on his position for peace.
Ex Congressman Adam Kinsigner was just on CNN again. This time insisting vehemently that Ukraine is winning the war by a wide margin and because of this, should get all their land back and not settle for anything less. His criteria? More Russians are dying than Ukrainians
He also claims that entry into NATO is still very reasonable for Ukraine.
Just more evidence that the propaganda on our side is alive, well and continues to mislead us.

Stop pretending that Ukraine is winning or will win if they just keep fighting long enough!!!!!!! Putin knew he would win and was willing to pay this steep price and as much as he needs to. We keep giving him more and more opportunities to keep this up by engaging on the battlefield instead of negotiating with a realistic objective TO END THE LOSSES AND END THE WAR.
It's not a matter of just fighting out of principle or fighting for the right cause its risk reward.
What are the chances of success compared to your losses in getting there?
The chances of success are near 0 and the losses are catastrophic and growing. Unless you count the losses to Russia as your metric for winning which is pure inhumane insanity and NOT the metric that people living in Ukraine and dying in Ukraine are basing it on. That's the metric that politicians in the United States or NATO officials want to use to base Ukraine winning on.
You make decisions based on rewards and benefits to YOUR side vs damage to YOUR side. Zelensky should be ashamed of himself to use NATO and US politician metrics, sacrificing the majority of his brave Ukrainian soldiers and justify it because even MORE Russians were killed for NATO and the US military-industrial-political-media complex. ..........and refusing to negotiate and refusing to give up his position on getting into NATO and getting back all the land.........sacrificing HIS people and HIS country for nothing but mounting losses because he's an extraordinarily bad military leader and NATO puppet.
Is Ukraine better now than when Zelensky was elected based on his promises to negotiate peace with Putin/Russia?
When Trump constantly blames Biden for this war, he is exactly right!
The propaganda machine won't replay how and why it happened.
When Ukraine had the upper hand after the 2022 Kharkiv and Kherson offensives, Western leaders took it as a sign not to negotiate and instead press for victory. Now that Ukraine’s 2023 offensive has lost steam, Western leaders still do not want to negotiate. Just what are they waiting for?
August 18, 2023 23:00 EDT
US President Joe Biden wrote in the New York Times in June 2022 that the United States was arming Ukraine to “fight on the battlefield and be in the strongest possible position at the negotiating table.” Ukraine’s 2022 autumn counteroffensive did in fact leave it in a position of strength, but Biden and his NATO allies still chose the battlefield over the negotiating table. Now, the failure of Ukraine’s long-delayed “spring counteroffensive” has left Ukraine in a far weaker position both on the battlefield and at the still-empty negotiating table.
So, based on Biden’s own definition of US war aims, his policy is failing. Tragically, it is hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers, not Americans, who are paying the price with their limbs and their lives.
This result was far from unexpected. Early in the year Pentagon documents, since leaked, had a bleak assessment of the likelihood of Ukrainian success. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy himself postponed the offensive in May to avoid what he called “unacceptable” losses.
+++++++++++++++
Here it is, 2 years later, with no hope of ever getting back momentum and having any realistic chance to strengthen their position at the negotiating table, they continue with the same ruinous strategy. Worst military leaders in history.
https://www.npr.org/2025/08/16/nx-s1-5504196/trump-putin-summit-documents-left-behind
Jon Michaels, a professor of law at UCLA who lectures about national security, said that the documents found in the printer of the Alaskan hotel reveal a lapse in professional judgement in preparation for a high-stakes meeting.
"It strikes me as further evidence of the sloppiness and the incompetence of the administration," said Michaels. "You just don't leave things in printers. It's that simple."

Then he fills all positions with people that he knows will have their #1 priority being this: Fulfill all of Donald Trumps wishes, never disagree with him and constantly tell the world how great Donald Trump is.
++++++++++++++++++++++
This is a good sign and would not be happening if not for President Trump's current effort. However, the difference in what Putin is vehemently insisting on and what NATO/Zelensky want is as wide as "the Grand Canyon".
Again, Putin WON the war by every reasonable standard with Ukraine having no chance of coming back under the current, negotiating table circumstances that set the table for discussions.
This is not a matter of right or wrong because BOTH sides will never budge 1 iota from their profoundly strong belief of what is right and what is wrong FOR THEM, which represents the diametrically opposed polar opposite of the other sides view and always will.
This is about what it will take to end the war that MUST acknowledge who WON the war.
This is about ending the cost of the war continuing to BOTH sides. The cost is also great to Russia but sadly, Putin doesn't care about that. His agenda and objectives trump human and material losses.
NATO and their puppet have acted similar with their extreme mentality. Putin invaded against International law and is a diabolical man but NATO/Zelensky have decided to sacrifice Ukraine and its brave soldiers for their LOST cause(even if its the right one) and have been willing to take on way more than acceptable losses FOR ZERO GAINS.
They could have negotiated much better deals!
In 2021(before the invasion) when their negotiation position was by far the strongest.
In 2022 when they still had an army and before most of the damage.
In early 2023 when they had their last gasp of success and still had enough Ukraine army with their last justified strong position at the negotiating table.
In 2024, when Putin had crystal clearly won the war by all standards and fighting was pointless.
In 2025, this is their weakest negotiating position. They can only capitulate/surrender because their position has no hope of getting better and you just don't sustain unacceptable losses to your side because the losses on the other side are even greater(when Putin doesn't care about that).
NATO/Zelensky and the US military-industrial-political-media complex just need to accept the real world. Sometimes, bad guys with more power than you win and your objective is to minimize/stop their winning and taking even more from you and unot get back everything they took during the win.
In this case, NATO/Biden and Zelensky made a crystal clear choice before and during the war. They refused to negotiate and instead, made a very intentional choice to fight this war with Russia/Putin to determine who gets what. They spent hundreds of billions, cost a million+ casualties and lost more land trying to win the war. However, NATO/Biden and Zelensky LOST the war that they choose to fight. The losers don't get what the war was fought over.
Putin's human and other losses were even greater is many ways but he knew he was going to win from the get go because he's an extremely smart military leader. I predicted this in 2022/23 just looking at his massive advantage if it turned out to be a war of attrition. NATO/Biden/Zelensky were ruinous military leaders for 3 years but their biggest blunder by far was their intentional choice to engage in an unwinnable war rather than negotiate.
It's a completely absurd and unreasonable demand for our side, the losing side to demand everything we lost back as if the war to fight for it doesn't matter.

The same sources that imposed the brain wash can now exploit their successful brainwash to sustain the propaganda messages indefinitely.
