These threads just touch on the growing problem with President Trump. It will only get worse. There is no chance that he can recover from his mental illness/dementia that is causing increasingly pathological thinking, communicating and actions.

It’s being made much worse by Rs in Congress that have given up their power to him and Fox News that cheerleads for his most ruinous behavior. President Trump seriously uses the commentary at Fox News as key feedback and to guide his agenda.

If you watch Fox, like I do, iand you are not part of the MAGA cult/religion, knowing that 10s of millions of Rs and our president actually believes their dangerous manufactured realities is very scary.

The Rs in Congress,  despite their pretending that President Trump is sane are fully aware of his most important impact FOR THEM.

Politicians with their morally bankrupt psyche’s all have 1 top priority.

Generating the most votes possible for them and their party so they can remain in office and remain in power.

The Rs see the writing on the wall in November 2026 because of what Trumps bombastic, unhinged mouth and actions are causing for MOST people in our country and most people on the planet.

Trump is getting worse and there’s no way to fix him.
They have a choice.

1. Remove President Trump from office Or

2. Lose the majority in both houses and all their power.

They have been afraid of him, outside of Rand Paul who displays courage, character and  and moral integrity. However, meetings in private could produce initiatives backed by the majority that would protect them as a whole and as individuals.

Will they have the courage and insight to do the right thing?

Since it coincidentally lines up with them retaining power, there’s a chance that the answer is yes.
If the answer continues to be no, everybody suffeRs….except for the Ds in congress  high hopes for returning to power in just over a year.

Then things will change with increased opposition to Trump and the Rs wishing they could go back to 2025.

It is still 2025. Will they be smart and courageous?
or dumb, cowardly and unable to do what’s best for the country and the party?

There's no way that a rational, competent, trustworthy president would act this way. Actually, no rational person would be acting like this way!

And no matter how bad the ruinous behavior is, Fox, Maga and the Rs in Congress will justify and cheer for it........which is exactly what provides Trump with the positive reinforcement that signals his pathologically thinking mind to double and triple down on a catastrophically destructive and divisive path forward for America.

The term, this is "insane" is usually meant figuratively and that a situation is crazy.

In this case,"INSANE" literally means that our president is INSANE.

+++++++++++++

There is nobody that I know of that fits the legal and medical definition of INSANE better than President Trump!

If he was a private citizen acting like this and committed a crime, his defense attorneys could get him off with an insanity defense based on all of his delusional behaviors.

Insanity

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insanity

Insanity, madness, lunacy, and craziness are behaviors caused by certain abnormal mental or behavioral patterns. Insanity can manifest as violations of societal norms, including a person or persons becoming a danger to themselves or to other people. Conceptually, mental insanity also is associated with the biological phenomenon of contagion (that mental illness is infectious) as in the case of copycat suicides. In contemporary usage, the term insanity is an informal, un-scientific term denoting "mental instability"; thus, the term insanity defense is the legal definition of mental instability. In medicine, the general term psychosis is used to include the presence of delusions and/or hallucinations in a patient;[1] and psychiatric illness is "psychopathology", not mental insanity

+++++++++++++

https://www.oed.com/dictionary/insanity_n?tl=true

The condition of being insane; a state of mind that impedes the ability to think, reason, or behave in ways that are considered normal, esp. one caused by mental illness. Also in extended use.

Formerly used as a technical term in law and forensic medicine, originally called insanity of mind, and used of those with cognitive disabilities as well as mental illness until the 19th cent. More recent use in law and forensic psychiatry often refers to the condition of being incapable of understanding or controlling one's own behaviour, esp. as a plea or mitigation in criminal proceedings in some jurisdictions

https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/9599-delusional-disorder

What is delusional disorder?

Delusional disorder is a type of psychotic disorder. Its main symptom is the presence of one or more delusions.

A delusion is an unshakable belief in something that’s untrue. The belief isn’t a part of the person’s culture or subculture, and almost everyone else knows this belief to be false.

++++++++++++++

metmike: I'm NOT a democrat and I actually voted for Trump last November because I believed him about ending the war in Ukraine and to protest the, previously worst administration in history(Biden/Harris).

Any objective person can see with crystal clarity that our president is insane and delusional.......from a medical and legal definition. This condition makes him extremely dangerous as the most powerful man in the world. Part of his agenda, in admitting that he hates Americans that don't support/vote for him(during his Eulogy for Charlies Kirk) is to destroy them.

A president devoted to destroying half of Americans and America for his agenda is exactly the mentality that the South had in the Civil War but they only wanted to break off from the North into their own country in great part to own slaves. The Confederacy only wanted to break off from the United States, NOT to destroy it.

Trump, as we know worships and elevates the leaders of the CONFEDERACY.  However, their leaders were rational and sane.

He possesses neither of those traits and is abusing the Constitution and presidency (thanks to the R Congress giving him all their power). He is using that power to destroy the big majority of Americans that disagree with him.

The diametrically opposed polar opposite of putting America first, he his intentionally DESTROYING AMERICA!

The part of America that Donald Trump does not agree with AND VEHEMENTLY HATES!

The president's net approval rating is -16%,
down 0.7 points since last week.
39% approve, 56% disapprove, 4% not sure

Last updated on October 9th 2025

This is much,  MUCH more than just an unpopular president.

1. He is mentally ill and insane with daily (sometimes hourly) displays of pathological thinking, communicating and acting.

2. He hates 56% of Americans and America and is obsessed with destroying them. Not just disagrees with 56% of America but want's to destroy them and is  abusing his presidential powers to intentionally try to destroy more than half of America that he hates.

President Trump was already delusional in his 1st term. ONLY a delusional person would be capable of stating 17,000 30,000+ false and misleading things in 4 years.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/False_or_misleading_statements_by_Donald_Trump

However, in 2025,  his advancing dementia, galactic abuse of power  and cheering section (Fox/MAGA, Rs in Congress) are feeding and positively enforcing his pathological thinking.

We know with certainty that he takes his cues from Fox, MAGA, the Rs in Congress and the rich people controlling the stock market telling him they like his agenda(to make them richer and the majority of Americans poorer)

Donald Trump was elected to the office of President of THE UNITED STATES in November 2024.

The president Of the United States  serves 345 million people.

This year, Donald Trump, instead has been acting solely as president of MAGA. Not only serving MAGA  exclusively at the expense of the majority, non MAGA population but admitting  explicitly at Charlie Kirk’s eulogy that he hates the  majority non MAGA portion of Americans that he considers his adversaries and enemies.

His objective is to try to destroy, what he considers his American enemies (but it continues to backfire as this tactic only INCREASES that number by the millions that disagree with him). Hate will always increase hate!

He just cant comprehend it because of his pathological thinking.

1. That the president  serves all Americans. It’s one thing to belong to a political party and to push  political agenda that favors your party. Every president in my life time has done this. However, President Trump treats NON MAGA Americans as the enemy! He wants to send in our military to democratic cities TO USE AGAINST OUR OWN PEOPLE! He is threatening to jail the D mayor of Chicago and D governor of Illinois, simply because they are democrats, which in his mind is the enemy.

2. He is  wasting tax payer resources for completely counter productive, impossible to sustain  agenda by using our military against our own people. Referring to them as “the enemy from within”

3. His mentality can’t fathom  the concept of love, tolerance or even respect for other human being who disagree with him, which is how you earn respect and convert people to your way of thinking. Instead, he applies hatred, vengeance and destruction and as most rational people would predict, this has resulted in a massively growing list of his enemies. He is Amplifying the hatred that MAGA has for the people that he identifies for them to hate and conversely, greatly increases the defensive hatred he generates towards him and MAGA from the people he targets with his hatred. Hate increases hate. When a cult leader specifically identifies the enemies of the cult and justifies all methods to attack them to destroy them and intensely hate them, the cult members, naturally follow this. The response to being targeted and hated is TO HATE BACK WITH GUSTO!  Mentally disturbed people armed with hate fueling their thinking (and firearms) are capable of acting out by doing things like...........assassinations that their deranged minds justify BECAUSE OF HATE.

4. He has  treated the majority of countries with  disrespect and used insane tariffs with no rhyme or reason, often to punish countries for not agreeing with his personal agenda  and that have zero to do with  global economic policies. His tariffs are wrecking the US economy AND world economies. Free trade benefits both sides. Major restrictions of free trade are almost always counter productive and as we’re witnessing, in some cases, like with China could be catastrophically damaging. Not only is he oblivious to these stone cold realities, his delusional mind manufactures  a fake world that defies the basic  principles of free trading between countries.

5. He is destroying long lived relationships with some of our closest allies and  trading partners, doing permanent damage in many cases.  He is causing our adversaries to get stronger as they form agreements with each other that shun and isolate the United States.

6. If this doesn’t cry out as solid justification  for using the 25th amendment to remove MAGA President Trump from office ASAP….then what does??

7. As the world’s most powerful person, allowing him to continue to recklessly abuse his power is not only irresponsible of Congress it’s very dangerous to the United States and world.

8. Allowing MAGA President Trump to remain in office for another 3+ years carries with it a range of outcomes ranging from bad to worse to catastrophic. There literally is no possibility for his remaining presidency to feature an overall positive outcome for the United States and world, other than strengthening of relationships of our adversaries  and isolated bright spots(including rich people getting more rich) that are overwhelmed by his negative impacts.

9. President Trump is  the biggest part of why there is more intense hatred in this country at any time in its long history by a wide margin since the Civil War.  At that time, early 1860's  what messages were people in this country getting from the President of the entire United States, Abraham Lincoln, dedicating his life to maintaining unity in our country?

Compare that to messages of President Trump, the president of MAGA, intentionally trying to divide our country?

What we need to heal is to first stop the bleeding from the worsening wounds that President Trump is tearing wide open and inflicting on our country and people.

America, land of hate

https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/5537883-trump-rhetoric-violence-hate/

Charlie Kirk’s murder shocked the nation. So did some of his eulogies — particularly the contrast between the message from Kirk’s widow, Erika Lane Kirk, and that of President Trump.

“That man. That young man,” Mrs. Kirk said, referring to her husband’s alleged killer. “I forgive him. … The answer to hate is not hate. The answer we know from the Gospel is love and always love.”

Trump disagreed.

“I hate my opponent,” he said, “and I don’t want the best for them. … That’s where I disagreed with Charlie.” Asked about this later, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump was “authentically himself” in saying this.

Leavitt was correct, and that is profoundly disturbing. The leaders we elect should bring out the best in us. Instead, Trump uses his bully pulpit to encourage hatred, intolerance and violence. He has done this on the national stage since entering politics in 2015, and none of the guardrails that have served us in the past — the Constitution, tradition or common decency — have stopped him.

That led Capehart to ask, "Why are we not talking about this man's mental acuity? I remember during the all of President Biden's term, all people talked about was his mental acuity. Is he all there? Is he capable of being president."

Capehart added, "This is this. This is nuts," and Conway responded, "He is nuts. We know this." Conway also said, "His brain is mush."

Capehart then noted, "As you said, Biden wasn't even president," before asking, "Where are the doctors?"

Trump on Friday about China:

Trump says he’ll impose new 100% tariff on China ‘over and above’ current rates, massively escalating trade war

https://www.cnn.com/2025/10/10/politics/rare-earths-china-trump-threats

“This affects ALL Countries, without exception, and was obviously a plan devised by them years ago,” he wrote. “It is absolutely unheard of in International Trade, and a moral disgrace in dealing with other Nations.”

Trump initially suggested on Truth social the meeting was now in jeopardy. “I have not spoken to President Xi because there was no reason to do so,” he wrote. “This was a real surprise, not only to me, but to all the Leaders of the Free World. I was to meet President Xi in two weeks, at APEC, in South Korea, but now there seems to be no reason to do so.”

++++++++++++++++

Just 2 days later, instead of threats to China  this is what the same guy said:

'It will all be fine': Trump on trade tensions with China

The US president calls Xi’s rare earth export controls a "temporary misstep" after threatening 100 percent tariffs.

https://www.trtworld.com/article/4cf3473c88ff

US President Donald Trump said that trade tensions with China will be resolved, posting a reassuring message days after threatening 100 percent tariffs.

"Don't worry about China; it will all be fine," Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social, on Sunday.

Trump characterised Chinese President Xi Jinping's rare earth export controls as a temporary misstep.

"Highly respected President Xi just had a bad moment. He doesn't want depression for his country, and neither do I," he said.

"The USA wants to help China, not hurt it," Trump added.

In Gaza, Trump is displaying his extremely unstable leadership.

Going from threatening Hamas, to declaring victory, peace and harmony in the entire Middle East forever thanks to him to suddenly back to threatening to disarm Hamas the hard way if they don't do it on their own.

An impossible threat that Hamas and everybody else knows is coming from an unhinged president.

FAQ: Why America just bailed out Argentina with a $20 billion lifeline

  https://www.cnn.com/2025/10/12/economy/argentina-america-bailout-currency

+++++++++++++++++++++++++===

This is outrageous and completely unacceptable!!!!!!

Trump's far right friend bankrupted Argentina, a country that has taken away our soybean farmer business, as our farmers LOSE MONEY, in part because our best customer, China (that bought something like 13 billion in soybean from the US last year and has bought 0 since Trump imposed his ruinous tariffs) is getting all their soybeans from Argentina and Brazil.

There is 0 justification for Trump to use his personal friendship with a far right friend in Argentina to give away 20,000,000,000 of our tax paid dollars!

This is egregious corruption and abuse of his powers and abuse of spending our tax payer dollars.

What happened to the reason for DOGE  earlier this year???

To save taxpayer money and reduce wasteful spending. At least that money paid people that performed important functions IN AMERICA. And we cut enormous amounts of money from global programs that were helping less fortunate people.

Then Trump, takes 20 billion and uses it to assist a far right friend in Argentina!!!!!!

Earlier this year,  he hit Brazil with 50% tariffs because they didn't treat his far right friend well.

American consumers are paying a price for his personal friendship in Brazil and for all his other crazy tariffs!!!

Seriously,

When you listen to Donald Trump discuss the details of so many things, it's clear that he is completely delusional as he describes manufactured realities so vividly because they are truly imagined as seen by people with common sense but they define his world.

Trump was already mentally ill with delusions of grandeur, pathological thinking during his first term but now this has advanced rapidly, from these things:

1. Positive reinforcement from Fox, MAGA.

2. The Rs in Congress enabling him.

3. Advancing dementia

4. The progressive nature of untreated mental illness

Thanks, cutworm!

I do appreciate your post and link. I greatly enjoy hearing and reading ALL opinions, especially the ones that I disagree with.

There certainly is no lack of people with a following that adulate Trump.

Many of them, like this guy with 2 million subscribers, like Fox News know how to sell Donald Trump for self serving interests.

Maybe this guy actually believes everything he says but to insist that Trump has a great sense of humor (when he tries to sensor people-and remove them from their jobs- that tell jokes he doesn't like) and that Trump is just an extreme extrovert and that explains it.

This guy makes some good points but is full of doo doo on countless others, while sounding brilliant because he's highly educated in this field and a master of communication(which is why he has 2,000,000 subscribers).

He blames Trumps extreme disrespect of others on his being an extreme extrovert that is very assertive and admits that he is "low in politeness" but he says this is offset by how surprisingly compassionate  Donald Trump is, strongly emphasizing how compassionate Trump is.

I stopped watching at that point. This guy is just selling snake oil nonsense. Trump is the LEAST compassionate president in history. Indisputable!!!

I could spend numerous pages busting other things in this video with one of my typical lengthy screeds but I'll just post this graphic below to obliterate his claim about "Donald Trump being surprisingly compassionate"

Donald Trump is the complete opposite of being compassionate by every standard of that words definition. The meaning of that word is below!!

This is the same president, while giving a eulogy to the nation,  bragged about how he HATES the people in this country that don't agree with him. Donald Trump's actions, as the most powerful man in the country and world are constantly proving that hate as he tries to HURT Americans that didn't vote for him. This is more quintessential evidence of Donald Trump being extremely ANTI compassionate!

Hi cutworm!

Yes, I did make it past that point and this was one of the things that made it clear what a charlatan this guy is.

It's like he's comparing snow to ice to tell us one of them is hot. Or comparing dog doo doo to horse doo doo to tell us one of them smells nice.

I thought about this guy several times after viewing him and it was really bugging me that he's out there stealing people's intelligence. I hope you're not wasting too much of your valuable  time following him, cutworm!

One of my objectives here is to fact check and expose frauds and this is what I'll do with this huge charlatan.

This guy is definitely a quack that manipulates his listeners by:

1. Because he's more educated in his field and smarter than them, he can misuse language and abuse terms in how they apply(that Trump is an incredibly compassionate person for instance)  with impunity because the vast majority of people really don't understand these realms enough to be able to compare his bs with what the reality/truth is.

2. He tells people what they want to hear. All charlatans do this.

3. He's extraordinarily charismatic, one of the key traits of a charlatan.

4. He shares with people "secret insights" that only he sees/knows that are complete horse manure. Another charlatan trait.

The Persistence of the Charlatan

Jordan Peterson Will Not Go Away

Not surprisingly, the large number of complaints about him by the actual professionals in his field that DO understand what he's doing, resulted in a  decision by the  board of Canadian psychiatrists requiring him to undergo proper communication training or lose his license.

Jordan Peterson agrees to social media coaching after Supreme Court declines free speech case

College of Psychologists of Ontario called commentator's social media posts 'degrading'

On this issue above. He is claiming that he has the right of  free speech and the right to say what he wants. This is true for the vast majority of cases. However, Peterson represents himself as an authority in his field, a degreed psychiatrist(which he is)  and he is a member of the College of Canadian Psychiatrists. The board that oversees the behavior of people in their organization/their field have the right to PROTECT PEOPLE from charlatanism.

They saw/see many of the things that I see and ruled that this is not just unprofessional but violates several authentic objectives that their body adheres to in order to serve people.

Instead of just suspending his membership/license, they ruled that he receive proper communication training which seems kind of absurd to me because Peterson's personality is the polar opposite of somebody that would change the way he communicates.

So the boards decision was basically a way to pacify the people in their field complaining, by sending a message that they disapprove of him and basically doing nothing to stop him from being a charlatan. .

Peterson v. College of Psychologists of Ontario

One can try to make the case that this is political(which Peterson's far right cheerleaders do) and the College of Psychologists vs Petersen is just the left against the right.

However, I belong to neither the left or right and my assessment on the previous page was INDEPENDENT of politics and based purely on the authenticity of this man.

The truth is, he has 2 million subscribers that listen to his charlatan rubbish because he tells them what they want to hear and there's nothing that independent, objective people like me can state to change their minds!

On this meme below.

Most people can appreciate this indisputable truth........but they all apply it to THE OTHER SIDE. It's never THEM that are falling for the charlatans, only people that disagree with them.

Why Facts Don’t Change Our Minds and Beliefs Are so Hard to Change in 2024?

When people fact check, it's usually things they don't want to believe. If they already believe something, their brains immediately accept it as a fact!

Sadly, Peterson is a hall of fame charlatan that preys on the far right to make himself rich and popular by telling them what they want to hear, while stealing their intelligence for his self serving interests.

Despite him having a similar view as me on the fake climate crisis, with some good reasoning that features CO2 being a beneficial gas, some of his other reasoning on climate modeling is whacko stuff.

His views on Trump are an example of some whacko stuff that he knows will sell.

He has made millions on his charlatanism. He is NOT helping people, he is stealing their intelligence for his self enrichment. If he actually believes ALL of this crazy stuff, then he's clearly delusional.

He gets away with it, like all the best charlatans because of what I listed here:

To be fair, I spent time investigating why I might be wrong about that initial opinion and could only find AUTHENTIC things that confirmed it.

With millions of followers, we can find plenty of people that see him as a guru that will state good things based on their biased views. Those all fall apart under authentic scrutiny from an objective, open minded source that understands people like him.
