On Thursday morning, Trump wroteon Truth Social: “It’s called SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL.”
In another post, he wrote: “This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP??? President DJT.” In a third post, he added: “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!” He also reposted a statement that said: “HANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD !!

More and more and more and more evidence, almost daily that indisputably shows that Donald Trump has rapidly advancing, progressive dementia.
He is very unqualified to be president and should be removed ASAP.
Where are all the Rs that were screaming bloody murder when Biden had major communication problems not even close to this serious related to his dementia?
The Rs in Congress continue to protect him. The people in his inner circle that see how deranged and unhinged he has become obviously know the truth.
MAGA and Fox still adulate him. But just listen to this deranged man with dementia. Look at his crazy decision making....in many cases, going from one extreme to the other in 24 hours.
Like with Ukraine or the Epstein files.
One of the scariest things to me is the fact that if steps were taken to impeach him or remove him from office by Rs with ethics, honesty and guts, he would start a nuclear war with Russia as part of another devious scheme to save himself.

Remove this guy from office ASAP! That's the only way to get it to stop, even though he's completely flooded key positions with incompetent people that are loyal to Trump only, many that believe the 2020 election was stolen from him.

Steve Vladeck, a professor of law at the Georgetown University Law Center and a CNN legal analyst, said that a court martial for Kelly is technically a viable option for the Pentagon because three different appellate courts have upheld that it’s constitutional to court-martial retired servicemembers.
But the Kelly case “is pretty powerful proof” of why that should not be an option, Vladeck said.

If Hegseth wants to turn off the military even more, go ahead and court martial this extremely respected military man.
Speaking of following orders.....................that's exactly what Trump's people do. No matter the ethics, legality or viability. If you work for Trump, your blind allegiance is to Donald Trump. Any deviation from that and you're fired immediately.
Considering that last point, this was a very timely and poignant video to remind people in the military that their allegiance should NOT be to the president. Which is why Trump is so irate over it.
He thinks everybody should answer to Donald Trump.
There are 3 main points that I can think of at the moment.
1. There was nothing illegal about this video. However it was clearly intended to use the military for a political attack on the opposition party. Regardless of their personal views these 6 people went beyond that to exploit their military past and people that trust them to send an extremely controversial message that will likely provide much less insight for soldiers(maybe even confuse them more than anything) than it provides their personal message about illegal activities of Trump and Hegseth.
2. Trump and his unqualified yes man/puppet took the bait and have decided to go on the offensive. Another example of their bad decisions that make things worse. Investigating Kelly because they didn't like his message. Threatening to punish him. Trump got things off on the exact wrong foot with his insane, unhinged threats. Only MAGA will support whatever Trump/Hegseth do.
3. The absurdity and irony of Donald Trump calling for the death penalty for fake sedition by Ds that didn't break any laws but used bad judgment(I think) and criticized the president. It's ironic because the person that committed the crimes which Donald Trump accuses these people of was Donald Trump himself. After he lost the 2020 election. Trying to overturn the indisputably proven results of a legal presidential election that he lost for 2 months with actions, some that were clearly illegal.
Then with his people totally believing that the election was stolen from him, he encouraged them to come to Washington, where he continued to incite the rioting.
During the first 3 hours of the Insurrection, he refused to call them off. Only after it had clearly been stopped did he tell them to go home he loved them.

This same guy is attacking people that served our country with honor for many years, sending an inconvenient/legal, though political message and he absurdly wants us to consider him to be a credible source?
Picking fights over some things might make sense but this is THE man behind the most famous Insurrection attempt. The one totally responsible. The one that blatantly violated the Constitution, and the American people. Violating our democracy, trying to overturn the 2020 election results. Still trashing our democracy and election as he constantly repeats that he won the 2020 election and continues to verbally DISRESPECT the democracy, voters/people and spirit of the Constitution by attacking those extremely validated results of the 2020 election.
This is the guy threatening the death penalty and wanting to have a battle over people making statements that can be backed up by the ethical standards in the military.
This would be like Jeffrey Epstein choosing to have a battle with somebody because they messaged teenage girls, warning them to not get into a strangers car.
Or Netanyahu the genocidal psychopath responsible for a 2+ year war.........nominating Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize........wait, that actually happened!

The US defense secretary, Pete Hegseth, stated repeatedly in 2016 on Fox News that US service members should refuse “unlawful” orders from a potential president Trump – exactly the position he called “despicable” when Democratic lawmakers said it last month.
The debate about whether US soldiers should refuse illegal orders is now at the center of a fiery political dispute over the US killings of alleged drug traffickers in boats off the coast of Venezuela and Colombia.
In video unearthed by CNN from March of 2016, when Donald Trump was a Republican presidential candidate, Hegseth responded to Trump’s comments in a debate by clarifying that service members did, in fact, have a duty to refuse any illegal orders.
“You’re not just gonna follow that order if it’s unlawful,” Hegseth, then a Fox News contributor, said in an appearance on the show Fox & Friends, where he would eventually become a host.
He repeated similar comments in a Fox Business appearance later that month.
As a candidate in 2016, Trump had vowed that US military personnel would carry out orders including killing the families of terrorists and reviving banned forms of torture if he became president.
“The military’s not gonna follow illegal orders,” Hegseth said of Trump’s claim, which the candidate later walked back.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth torched then-presidential candidate Donald Trump over his insistence that members of the military would follow outlandish — and even illegal — orders he might issue after taking office back in 2016, according to a new KFile report from CNN’s Andrew Kaczynski.
In appearances on Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network, Hegseth stated that, “You’re not just gonna follow that order if it’s unlawful,” and “The military’s not gonna follow illegal orders,” when asked about Trump’s claims that they would. Hegseth made similar comments during a speaking engagement in April.
After Trump reaffirmed his position during a March 2016 Fox News debate, Hegseth was more cutting.
“Here’s the problem with Trump,” remarked Hegseth during an appearance on Megyn Kelly’s Fox show. “He says, ‘Go ahead and kill the family. Go ahead and torture. Go ahead and go further than waterboarding.’”
“What happens when people follow those orders, or don’t follow them? It’s not clear that Donald Trump will have their back,” he continued. “Donald Trump is oftentimes about Donald Trump. And so you can’t; if you’re not changing the law and you’re just saying it, you create even more ambiguity.”
“What Donald Trump is doing here, though, creates more complications, I think, on the backend for a lot of our folks,” concluded Hegseth.

Not that Hegseth had any credibility with people other than MAGA but this just obliterated what was left outside of MAGA. Trump only sees people that have pledged allegiance to Donald Trump so that Donald Trump can impose his agenda's with impunity. No matter how incompetent or how many embarrassments(note RFK junior).. If a person helped elect him or is a conduit for Trump to use/manipulate for his self serving interests, then their jobs are usually safe.
But Trump is extraordinarily unstable. It would be interesting to read his mind when he saw the video of Hegseth bashing him for this in 2016.
However, Vance in that same year, 2016 compared him to Hitler and look where Vance is today!
The main reason that Trump would fire Hegseth is if he disagrees with him on something which seems impossible, considering his profound adulation of Trump this year.

In a 2016 interview with Charlie Rose while promoting his book “Hillbilly Elegy,” Vance called himself “a Never Trump guy” and said of the soon-to-be-president, “I never liked him.”
He told NPR that year, “I can’t stomach Trump.” He wrote an op-ed for The New York Times titled: “Mr. Trump Is Unfit For Our Nation’s Highest Office.”
Vance said he didn’t vote for Trump in 2016 and his former roommate shared images of a text message Vance sent him that year in which he called Trump “cynical” and said he could be “America’s Hitler.”
Rubio called also called Trump a “con artist,” and “the most vulgar person to ever aspire to the presidency.”
This year, when ABC News played back some of Rubio’s comments from 2016, he responded by saying, “It was a campaign.”
