Without the Epstein situation, MTG would never have resigned. I disagreed with alot of what she said thru the years but in the end, she displayed amazing integrity and courage(like Liz Cheney did). She stood firm for her values here.
The vast majority of the Rs that voted for this bill, only did it after the president gave them permission and they are still morally bankrupt WIMPS that lack the courage to stand up to their puppet master.

Trump will lose his lawsuit against the WSJ and its owner Rupert Murdoch (also owner of Fox), however Murdoch is a brilliant business person that is most concerned with the profits and credibility of his investments.
Trump and Fox are tied at the hip. Trump appointed 23 people from Fox to jobs after he became president. It's possible that Murdoch would see this as Trump stealing his employees but even more likely for him to recognize A COMMON INTEREST!
Murdoch knows his viewers are mostly MAGA and Donald Trump is adulated by them. The last thing that he wants to do is stick a knife in the back of the person that has increased his profits the most, even though he will have plenty of opportunity to do that. I doubt Murdoch wants to take Trump down because that would threaten his huge investment at Fox.
Maybe Trump knows that?
Regardless, it makes an outcome of some sort of agreement that minimizes damage to both parties likely as opposed to Murdoch taking this all the way, winning for the WSJ and embarrassing Trump but hurting his Fox investment. If Murdoch didn't own Fox this would be a no brainer but this is a huge conflict for him. Trump has made him millions in advertising money at Fox, where far right and MAGA viewers dominate and advertisers pay the rates based on the number of viewers.
