Thanks much, Mike!

I thought this was how you are trading?

Most profitable trading Hours E-Mini 500

                            Started by mikempt - April 1, 2025, 6:04 p.m.

I have reverted back to my simple days. This year I have been using the opening range technique. I watch the

five minute chart for the first hour, then trade the range. I have plotted over the years that the most profitable times are 11:00 am til 11:30 am and 2 pm til 2:30 pm. I've been killing the trades in those time frames

+++++++++++++++++++

That pull back that you used to enter the trade was  before 3am(12:30am-2:30am)this morning. Are you staying up all night to trade now?

You still have not responded to this key question that every profitable trader can answer regarding how they use risk management to  minimize losses when they're wrong........even though you've never been wrong yet on MarketForum.

            Great stuff, Mike!

Looks like all your indicators were lined up.

Does Mike the world's most profitable trader use protective stops on these trades that you tell us about after they happened?

What is the risk management strategy, to minimize the losses on the trades you never tell us about?

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks much, Mike.

Some of us here are good enough reading charts and trading to know that's impossible.

The place on the graph and price you claim to have bought at, marked by your arrows was many hours before 9:40 am.

The new time that  you just gave means the price you claimed to be long from was long GONE.

Your post brags about the 41 point profit that WOULD HAVE happened only if the position was put on when your arrows indicate it was put on.

Note your arrow at the bottom that identifies where Midnight Nov 24 was,  that shows WHEN on the chart that you claimed in the initial post to be long from.

Also, when somebody has a REAL position, it shows up in their account with a time stamp in hours, minutes/seconds.

Not "long after a pull back from 9:40 to 9:55am"

Mike,

Despite having to hold you accountable in posts like this, I really like you and the vast majority of your posts here.

You have a flamboyant, extraordinarily creative personality are very patriotic and intelligent. Serving our country in the Coast Guard reserves. A hard working plumber with his own business.  Sharing some very interesting things with us thru the years.

You have been a big positive at MarketForum!

I would love to have you as a neighbor and think of you as a friend here.

I also think a system like yours has value and can make money. I'm not bashing the actual system, just the manner in which you display it as infallible.

If you are teaching somebody about how to trade, for me 2 of the most important factors we all learn in the real world of trading are humility and honesty.

The REAL market teaches us those lessons all the time and forces us to be disciplined and balanced in the way we view markets and trades.  You don't have to change a thing about how you post here if you don't want to but I am telling you that I like you a great deal already, even if you aren't Mike the worlds greatest trader!

I posted the chart shortly after we exited the trade. I have no idea where you are coming up with midnight?

The chart I used is downloaded from Barchart.com. Their time frame is CST. The pullback I stated is the slanted line after the opening range.

I dont understand where you get these wild time frames from, like you're 12 hours off

Look at the bottom of the chart, look to the left, its in 24 hour military time.

Sometime back I posted a live trade from my TD Ameritrade account and you still claimed it was a fraud!

WHY?

Thanks, Mike!

Maybe my time frames are off.

If that's the case, I apologize.
