This NY times article sums up my opinion extremely well. The title says alot for this pay walled article.
From the late 1980s to the early 2000s, Epstein and Trump were best friends with their biggest bond being......PREDATORS OF YOUNG WOMEN!
The president has tried to minimize their friendship, but documents and interviews reveal an intense and complicated relationship. Chasing women was a game of ego and dominance. Female bodies were currency.

Since the Rs have control of the White House, Congress, the DOJ and the entire government, who is going to hold them accountable for not releasing all the files?
They went from doing everything possible to block the release of the files for months and months to suddenly voting almost unanimously for releasing them.
How does that happen in a world where political positions NEVER change?
Simple. Trump, the DOJ and the Rs devised another diabolical, dishonest scheme. They opened an investigation into the Epstein files that gives them legal justification for NOT releasing all the stuff they don't want out there.
While pretending to release everything possible, mostly of Ds.
Holding back on all the stuff that we really want to see and know about.
We know that there were many hundreds of girls/vicims in Epstein's under age sex trafficking ring.
We know that there were numerous rich and powerful predators that committed crimes against there girls. Yet, all we have is evidence that Prince Andrew was one of them (and Donald Trump expressing empathy..........NOT for the victims/survivors but FOR THE ROYAL FAMILY OF THE PREDATOR!!!).
What a morally bankrupt sick SOB and predator of women for almost 3 decades (1980's, 1990's, 2000's).
Not on Epstein Island but before that, when he was best friends with Epstein for 15 years.
Not one word of empathy for the REAL victims. Instead, calling it a D hoax, absurdly trying to convince the world that Donald Trump is the real victim of the Epstein files, not these girls.
The DOJ under Donald Trump is not an objective entity that stands for Truth, Justice or the AUTHENTIC American way.
They are serving as Donald Trump's DEFENSE ATTORNEY'S in cases like the Epstein files.
While at the same time, serving as Donald Trump's prosecutors, weaponizing the justice department to seek vengeance upon all of Donald Trump's enemies.
Swearing allegiance to Donald Trump to get their positions. Being fired immediately if they veer from that loyalty or if they display ethical behavior that puts something other than Trump first!!!
That totally defines this entire administration and those that work for it.

We should note the majority of the media falling over themselves to post as much of the latest released files that show X, Y and Z for ratings or sales while not focusing enough on the REAL story.
The Trump/DOJ/Rs scheme to NEVER release the part of the files that we and the victims want released the most.
Telling us that "there is no list" and this is all they can release.
What a massive cover up to protect the rich and powerful predators. These poor women are petrified about coming out to name individuals because there's a good chance of them being killed for it.
Just like Epstein was killed.
Most, if not all of them also have Non Disclosure Agreements (large sums of hush money) that will go away if they violate the terms, which is to speak out against that person.

The DOJ, only releasing Epstein files that DON'T have Trump in them and pretending that everybody thinks like MAGA and will assume "dang, I guess Trump really isn't in the Epstein files after all" was very predictable from the get go based on the latest dishonest scheme they came up with last month.
These morally bankrupt cruds in the Trump administration and in Congress are getting easier and easier to predict because they almost NEVER do the RIGHT thing. They will do the BEST thing for their self serving interests and usually that is the morally WRONG thing, that often breaks laws and violates human beings!
Donald Trump, Epstein's best friend for 15 years...............hardly in the Epstein files released by the DOJ but Bill Clinton has tons of pictures.
Interesting how its the Ds in Congress that have wanted ALL the files to be released. If there's no Trump in there and only Ds, on what planet does that make sense?

They initially followed thru with the plan to almost completely sanitize Trump from the files (especially featuring Clinton images because Dementia Don thought that would take the heat off of him and put in on Bill Clinton).
Dementia Don, as usual was WRONG because nobody but MAGA bought that one and it actually BACKFIRED because it demonstrated their unwillingness to release what we know is in there and want released.
So Donald Trump, seeing his latest plan backfiring(for the nth time), decided to adjust the plan and release some stuff that Donald Trump authorized but with a narrative that he thinks people will buy about it not suggesting what it means about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
The DOJ is getting everything authorized by Donald Trump. They are NOT independent. They answer to him. They carry out his plans and adjust their plans when he tells them to.
That's exactly why this has turned into a MEGA fiasco for Donald Trump in 2025. If they had just released the files earlier this year, as promised none of this would be happening. But Donald Trump is not only unqualified to be president of the United States, he can't even think clearly enough to make smart decisions on scandals like this. He keeps making it worse and worse and worse.
Donald Trump's already demented mind that suffered mental illness from the delusions of grandeur in his first term, is having progressive dementia attacking it. It's created a worsening form of pathological thinking that is beyond anything the United States has ever witnessed in it's history.
For the sake of the Rs and the country, Donald Trump needs to go ASAP.
For the MAGA people caught in his cult. You don't even realize that Donald Trump, right now is the BEST THING that ever happened to the Democratic party. Each party's most important priority is the upcoming elections.
Their actions and words all consider the consequences for being re elected and for their party's control. Both parties in Congress KNOW dang well what Donald Trump is doing to their chances in the next 2 elections.
The Rs will never say it in public but behind closed doors, they must be discussing Article 25 and impeachment to cut loose the anchor which is SINKING THE R SHIP.

THERE IS NO ESCAPING THIS FOR THE Rs and Trump.
1. There's no cure or progressive dementia
2. The vast majority of the media is going to do everything possible to expose Donald Trump.
3. MAGA will always vote for Trump. MAGA is losing members and the NON MAGA that got Trump elected in 2024 is abandoning the sinking ship.
What could change that?
If all inflation went away and our country experienced record growth. I don't doubt that Trump's hand picked people will doctor the data and released fake stats, however, the ruinous tariffs impact CANNOT be offset because you can't defy the rock solid principle of trading between countries and what tariffs do.
The Supreme Court could do Trump a huge favor and rule his illegal tariffs to be illegal to stop the damage. However, it will make Trump look bad and make his response interesting.
Trump continues to be on the offensive as more batches of the Epstein files are released
