Fortunately, there is video of the event again so we can all see what REALLY happened and not be misled by the blatant lies and coverup by the Trump administration. ........again.
WOW! The videos indicate that this is even more egregious than the murder of Renee Good.
CNN is showing some wonderful video, evidence and objective interpretations.
Fox is covering it up and instead, running propaganda blaming protesters for all the violence(calling them violent rioters and terrorists).
This guy was an intensive care unit nurse, dedicated to saving the lives of very sick people.
To MIScharacterize him as a terrorist that threatened to kill ICE agents is such an egregious violation of the truth. We saw the video. This is another, even more blatant lie.
He had a permit to carry that gun. It was a legal gun.
Ironic that the R party is all about Americans civil rights to LEGALLY carry a gun and the NRA, which is exactly what this guy was doing.......LEGALLY and suddenly its not ok.
We can see from the videos that he never pulled the gun out or threatened ICE officers with it.
Instead, the ICE agent confronted him, then half a dozen of them were on top of him, some completely subduing him while others kick him and sucker punch him.
Then they find the gun on his waiste band, take it away and after that they shoot him dead.
Not 1 shot but 3 or 4 shots (up to 10 shots)to kill a man that was unarmed.

Soon after, he appears to be pepper-sprayed and wrestled to the ground by multiple agents. About a half-dozen agents are on top of Pretti or in his immediate vicinity when he is initially shot. This guy was being a Good Samaritan, protecting a woman that ICE was hurting and this is what happens.
Thank God we have citizens coming out to shoot video of ICE to hold them accountable. Had others not been there with there phone cameras, we wouldn't have the indisputable evidence to prove that the Trump officials were lying again.

They should immediately take them out of commission to retrain them, make body cams mandatory and drastically changing the rules in which they are selecting people to deport.

The question that must be asked about this organized resistance is:
Is it a good thing or bad thing to have organized resistance against a diabolical entity?
If ICE is doing good work for Americans, then why do ALL OF THEM need to constantly tell blatant lies about these murders and other activities.
Cameras/videos don't lie and we all have eyes.
1. When people blatantly lie and repeatedly, it tells us that the truth is bad or them.
2. An entity that has no accountability, has blanket immunity with no oversight and free reign to impose their agenda will do things similar to what we are witnessing from ICE.

This solution offered by Homan actually makes more sense than what's going on now. There are some potential issues that would result in people in jails NOT CONVICTED OF CRIMES(but can't afford bail, for instance) that are targeted but it might be better than whats happening now.
Our trust in ICE doing the right thing/being fair and competent is long gone. There doesn't seem to be any scenario's at this point where making adjustments to ICE will transform ICE into something that does what its supposed to.
Too many bad actors running it and being used to enforce it, especially at the top.
For instance, if a leader and their entire staff were blatantly corrupt from top down and operating with impunity, you can't just replace one of them and expect the other XX number to suddenly get a conscience and perform their duties with ethics and honestly, like a switch was flipped in their heads.
And their head honcho, Donald Trump will never change his tune on this. Instead, he will just cover up and lie about their crimes as long as he lasts during this 2nd term. Which will most likely end in 2027 but possibly as early as later this year.

If we take away the 2 recent cold blooded murders, especially this last one of Alex and pretend only to be observers of how ICE treats legal, non violent protesters, American citizens who are not threatening them(harassing them with whistles and verbal chants) but mainly there instead to record them doing despicable things to other human beings. Sometimes illegal things.
The video's clearly show that it's ICE that is attacking the protesters. It's ICE that's using mace on them. It's ICE that's ganging up on them. Half a dozen men of ICE, for instance knocking down an innocent person and beating the crap out of Alex, sucker punching and kicking him. Hitting him in the head with a metal canister.
If ICE hadn't shot him, would that have been ok?
They shot him 10 times too. C'mon, 10 times? Renee was shot 3 times after her car had already turned away from the ICE agent that killed her. One of the videos from Saturday shows an ICE agent applauding while Alex was being shot.
This is not a fixable problem with the Donald Trump in charge. Donald Trump has been calling the shots and ENCOURAGING exactly what we saw 2 days ago.
The ICE that Donald Trump had trained to do things the Donald Trump way got busted badly because they killed the wrong person and, thank God there were all those good people there with cameras. BUSTING Donald Trump's ICE.
Trump hasn't changed his mindset 1 iota about anything............other than how he should conduct damage control to make it look like its not his fault and to temporarily retreat until things cool off.
Now, Donald Trump wants to throw Kristi Noem under the bus and pretend like he's getting along with the mayor and governor. The exact opposite of his words and actions the past year on this topic. We got here, entirely from Donald Trump. He doesn't want to be on the hook for the blame.
Just like Donald Trump, after fighting as hard as possible to block the release of the Epstein files, realized it was hurting him. So he suddenly flipped and PRETENDED to be all about releasing the Epstein files, while never intending to do it, knowing that nobody is going to do anything about it. He runs the DOJ and tells them NOT to release the information and we will never see them.
He's just a diabolical schemer and this latest tactic is being used to manipulate the narrative so he doesn't get blamed on something that is hurting him.

Patel continued to say that's it's wrong to bring a loaded gun to a protest and only people planning to use it would do that.
Hannity, gave us his pathetic version.
He bragged about his position to support the NRA and 2nd Amendment and right to bear arms based on the Constitution.
Then he told us that he used to speed(go over the speed limit) a great deal when he was younger and that resulted in him getting pulled over by cops frequently.
He insisted that the first thing that he always told the cop outside his window was that he had a permit to carry a fire arm and had a gun in the car.
Hannity insisted that because Alex didn't tell ICE he had a gun, it resulted in them shooting him.
Seriously, Hannity blamed the shooting on Alex for not telling ICE he had a gun as if he even knew what Alex said to the 6 ICE agents beating the crap out of him.
According to Hannity, because Alex was not acting responsibly as a person with the right to carry a gun (but not telling ICE) it was his own fault that ICE shot him.
Hannity never mentioned that Alex never touched the gun and the first shot wasn't fired until AFTER an ICE agent had taken the gun away from him. And then, they shot him 10 times AFTER the gun had been taken away.
More "Kill and slander" tactics. Ice kills, the MAGA high priests and Donald Trump do the slandering.
It backfired on Trump/ICE this last time because of what the video showed from patriotic citizens trying to hold ICE accountable.
As a result, Donald Trump is adjusting his scheme to try to bamboozle gullible people who might be on the fence or MAGA people that allowed some propaganda busting truth to leak into their brains and are questioning their support for Donald Trump's ICE.

If Trump had any sort of judgement, he would be sincerely apologizing for the cold blooded murder of this wonderful man and conducting an intensive investigation that included suspending the ICE agents involved and publicly admonishing them for this horrible death.

If Donald Trump ever changed his tune and expressed empathy for Alex and blame on ICE it would be because he wants Donald Trump to look good.
Donald Trump is a psychopath that is incapable of feeling empathy for other human beings. We've been seeing that the past year with the countless, horrific sex trafficking crimes against underaged girls. Never once expressing empathy for the real victims, instead feeling bad for the Royal Family because of Prince Andrew but not the girls that he raped.
Calling it a "hoax" created to destroy Donald Trump who he thinks is the victim of the Epstein files.
In this case, once again he considers ICE and the Donald Trump's administration as the victims and his messaging continues to make that clear.
When he changes his messaging, it's always just another tactic/scheme to manipulate people to get what he wants.
A person with AUTHENTIC empathy would have immediately felt it and expressed it. That would define their messaging.
Alex was a wonderful person that recognized what ICE was doing was wrong. He had the courage and guts to not just express his right as an American to protest really wrong things in his community, he was practicing his legal right to practice the 2nd amendment by carrying a gun that he obtained a legal permit to carry. And carrying a gun at protests was very legal. He never touched his gun or threatened anybody with his gun.
If Trump's response is to try to blame Alex, it's not surprising because he blamed the REAL Epstein victims for their hoax, while he sees Donald Trump as the actual victim.
Anybody with critical thinking KNOWS that Alex was the victim, NOT Donald Trump or ICE. Alex likely carried his gun everywhere with him and was legally practicing what Donald Trump insisted he stood for with his support of the NRA.
This incident by itself just wrecked ICE forever. There is no chance to redeem their reputation, especially with Donald Trump doubling down on it. He thinks sending in a different person can resurrect ICE.
There are no conceivable circumstances under which ICE's reputation can ever recover with the majority of Americans. ICE was already doing bad things to human beings that they justified as being ok, because they were only targeting bad human beings, which was not true.
Enter the picture, good people, AMERICANS like Renee and Alex who protested and documented what ICE is really doing.
By killing them, ICE can no longer use the false narrative that they are only doing bad things to bad people. ICE can never recover in its current form from this. People will no longer take the word of proven (over and over) blatant liars that are even murdering upstanding American citizens, who were only there protesting legally and not causing any threat(other than to document the crimes of ICE with their cell phone cameras).
Since when is using your cell phone to record people doing wrong things in public a crime? Deserving of the death penalty?

However, my interpretation is that the vast majority of these people are patriotic Americans, organizing to resist the government suppression of the rights of Americans and harm innocent people as the government lies about what they are doing to accomplish the agenda of their diabolical leader.

Kyle Rittenhouse was exercising his 2nd Amendment right by carrying a high powered weapon to defend property at a used car lot from being even more damaged by rioters.
He was legitimately threatened and used that weapon to defend himself, killing 2 people and injuring another one.
Alex Pretti, on the other hand was not just threatened, he was getting the crap beat out of him by half a dozen ICE agents. After Alex went to the aid of a woman being attacked by ICE, then he became their target, getting sprayed with mace, then half a dozen ICE agents beat the crap out of him. Sucker punching, kicking, hitting him in the head with a big metal object.
Alex could have pulled out his gun at any time to defend himself from the vicious, unjustified attack but he showed incredible restraint.
He knew that he had the gun but made a conscious decision NOT to use it, despite the vicious attack on him.
Instead, the ICE agents found the gun, then took it away and only after the weapon was taken from its resting place did ICE agents start firing. And they fired 10 shots AFTER Alex had the weapon (that he chose NOT to use) taken away from its resting place.
And Alex is being attacked for his actions???
1. He was a hero for coming out to record the actions of ICE to hold them accountable.
2. He was a hero for coming to the aid of a woman that ICE was attacking.
3. He was a hero for not using the gun to defend himself against ICE agents that were wrongfully beating the heck out of him, after he did absolutely nothing wrong. He could have shot a couple of those agents but choose not to.
What if Alex was a Republican and had pulled out the gun and defended himself by shooting his attackers, what would be the response by R party?
We don't need to speculate because we can look at what they did after Rittenhouse did that.
Instead, Alex showed amazing restrained and likely SAVED THE LIVES of his attackers by NOT pulling out his gun to shoot them in justifiable self defense.
Now the most insane part. Trump and his minions, intentionally manufactured blatant, despicable lies that described the complete opposite scenario of what happened, with Alex being a bad guy/terrorist there to assassinate ICE agents. ICE agents just doing their jobs and defending themselves from the lethal threat which Alex supposedly caused.
This was entirely self inflicted damage by Donald Trump and his sycophants.
They can make it go away by just doing the right thing but their leader has no conscience and does not know the difference between the widely understood definition of what's right and what's wrong.
For Donald Trump, the word right means doing things that benefit him personally.
He constantly steps into his own doo doo because he assigns omnipotence to what he sees every time he looks in the mirror.
He constantly miscalculates by assuming that he is so much smarter than everybody else and his brilliance will crush his opposition.

Because leadership and personnel are very incompetent. Not properly trained. Objectives not reasonable. The only reason to adjust is because the publicity got soooooo bad after another person, being a Good Samaritan who dedicates his life to helping sick US veterans got murdered. Otherwise, it would still be the exact same policy. In fact, they are only doing this as damage control, not because they want to do the right thing.
It's a good thing that they are sending this signal to temporarily DE escalate but it's pure damage control until this storm brews over with the same game plan.
But they LOST the ICE game already in MN. When the Chicago Bears lost in the play offs as in all lost games, the coach can go back and say "I should have done this or I should have done that" but THE GAME IS OVER.
The loser doesn't get to keep playing until they win!
This what Donald Trump wants to do. Keep playing, with a new game plan until he wins.....and refusing to acknowledge that he lost in Minn because he had a catastrophically bad game plan and refused to change it during the game.
When Renee Good was murdered, he still had time to salvage the game with a compete overhaul but even then it was probably lost. After Alex was murdered, it was game over, especially with the top officials running ICE making such audacious lies(including Trump and Vance) that completely contradicted our eyes and brains.
Thank God for the people there to record ICE, they are hero's! Without them, these despicable people would still be doing horrible things to human beings with no accountability and blatantly lying about it.

As long as ICE is in MN, everything they do will be overly scrutinized and viewed negatively. If they make even small mistakes, they will make headlines news around the world. There will be almost nobody(other than MAGA) that celebrates when they take a criminal out off the community(which will happen). In that environment, ICE is playing a game that it can never win because the game was lost already.
The top leadership, Donald Trump failing to recognize that is what the problem is.
The game conditions this month, with the Wind Chill at times below -30 Deg. F actually prevented the game from being even more lopsided against ICE. When temperatures warm back up and become tolerable for humans outside, on what planet do we not KNOW that even MORE protesters, probably MANY MORE will gather to harass ICE's every movement.
He wants to play the same game but with the other side having 3 times as many players on the field. 3 times as many camera's there with the only objective to destroy ICE. 3 times as many media reporting on why ICE is hated and should not be in MN against what the people in MN want.
Donald Trump just got obliterated in MN because he blundered. The MN corruption scandal had given him a huge advantage in the public's eye. Not only did he fumble that advantage away, the scenario above tells us that he's unqualified to make any decisions in this realm.
It's not even debatable that ICE has lost in MN and can't ever win when the Mayor and Governor want them out.
The only option is to acknowledge that ICE lost and give the mayor, governor and people of MN what THEY WANT.
If something can be worked out on THE WINNER's terms that allows some sort of presence by ICE, that includes handing over hardened criminals in MN jails/prisons that can work. However, the state of MN has got to agree to the terms because the tattered reputation of ICE means that the majority of people will NOT take their side. Any disagreements will make ICE look worse.

You can't take 22,000 badly trained ICE officers and wave a magic MAGA wand and turn them into something that only training and vetting can accomplish.
If they are any way serious, the first thing that they should be imposing is mandatory body cameras for every ICE agent to hold them accountable. This is a no brainer, no exceptions requirement.

This is actually a great point. cutworm showed us a video that looked real from a source that altered it to make it look like the ICE agent that murdered Renee Good was hit hard by her car. This doctored video was believed by almost everybody, even some journalists on the left that lacked critical thinking and good observation skills.
That was powerful evidence of how easy it is to use AI to change anything that you want in a video to make it show whatever version you want to be true.
My 38 year son makes videos of me, him and others doing crazy things that we never did for laughs. If I had a really bad memory, I would swear that was me in the video.
To say that we can't trust this administration and ICE, the worst of the worst for trust is an understatement. Would they doctor the videos to alter stuff that incriminated them?

Public opinion of the Trump administration has cratered in the wake of killings by immigration agents in Minneapolis.
Fox this week, no surprise, failed to show the video leading up to and during the murder of Alex.
The last 2 days, however they’ve been showing the video of him kicking the ICE tail light out repeatedly. The incident that occurred over a week before he was murdered.
Tonight, Jesse Watters told us that this was proof that Alexa was violent. That he was a dangerous terrorist and this is what led to him being shot. No video of the day of the shooting, just the video of him kicking out the tail light.
Somebody forgot to tell the Fox anchors that this false narrative, immediately after the shooting of Alex being a violent terrorist threatening to kill ICE is what blew up and backfired the most for dishonest people using it.
However, Fox is still doing it. Tells you how little they respect the intelligence of the average Fox viewer since they assume that Fox viewers must be pretty dumb to not realize that Alex was murdered.
Instead of using their eyes and brains, they tune into guys like Jesse that tell them what to believe.
