Let me remind readers that this exact same thing happened less than a year ago with the exact same countries under very similar conditions.

1. Donald Trump and Iran were negotiating and from many reports were close to an agreement, with a peace meeting planned the upcoming weekend, then SUDDENLY Israel bombed Iran and messed it up because they SUDDENLY discovered evidence that Iran was days away from making a bomb.

2. Donald Trump went from negotiating for peace and talking about an agreement with Iran to SUDDENLY bombing Iran because Netanyahu told him to.

3. Then, Donald Trump declared the war between Israel and Iran to be over and added that to his list of wars that Donald Trump has stopped.  Seriously, that happened

We'll see if Donald Trump does the same thing as he did last June. Bomb Iran after Israel carried out the first strike. Then declare its over and that he stopped another war...........that he and Netanyahu started and stopped as the most powerful militaries in the world work together.

What will be the justification this time?

That the nuclear weapons program that President Trump insisted was completely obliterated less than 9 months ago came back from the dead and was on the verge of launching a nuclear bomb at Israel again?

Maybe we can make this an annual event.

The US starting out the year by negotiating with Iran. Then, Israel jumping in to stop the negotiations by telling the world that Iran is getting ready to nuke them so they have to attack Iran unprovoked.  Then the US goes from negotiating peace to bombing Iran overnight, unprovoked  based on nothing between our 2 countries but following Israel.

OK, that question was answered pretty quickly.

The US is bombing/attacking Iran right now and apparently it's a MAJOR strike.

Of course this is against International Law and also was UNPROVOKED.

We don't get to bomb another country because we're unhappy with the negotiations.

That is, unless you have a lunatic leader, Donald Trump. He didn't change the name of the Department of Defense to the Department of War for nothing.

Donald Trump's legacy

1. Stopping fake wars

2. Starting real wars and conducting massive attacks against International Law in numerous places while being unable to stop REAL wars.

3. Taking other countries and planning to take countries based on the justification of Donald Trump who has the most powerful military in the world.

4. Proclaiming that he deserves the Nobel PEACE prize all last year while abusing his military power to create havoc as the worlds most powerful psychopath.

Israel Announces Launch of Preemptive Attack on Iran

                                       28 Feb, 10:35

https://caspianpost.com/iran/israel-announces-launch-of-preemptive-attack-on-iran

“The State of Israel has launched a preemptive strike against Iran to remove threats to the State of Israel,” he said.

+++++++++++++++++++++

There we have it. Any time Israel or the US want to bomb a country, we can call it preemptive strikes for whatever excuse we want.

Illegal by International standards and by the US Constitution.

+++++++++++

Donald Trump has still not communicated why he is doing this.

He obliterated the nuclear weapons facilities last June. Is this, instead for a regime change?

Now our place in the world is to start wars/attack countries unprovoked if we don't like the regime?

NOW, the US  and Israel are destroying FUTURE weapons in Iran BEFORE THEY EVEN EXIST.

Is this part of getting the heat off his crimes as a predator of women/Epstein files, his ruinous tariffs and worst approval ratings ever?

I get that Iran is an evil empire and the huge sponsor of world terrorism but at the same time, Israel is a rogue state run by a psychopath responsible for an ongoing horrific genocide that is still happening.

His partner in crime is the most powerful man in the world!

If Trump is for justice for the protester lives Iran took, then why is he letting Putin get away with his killing?

Netanyahu killed MANY times more innocent people, mostly children in women in Gaza than the number of protesters killed by the current Iranian regime.

How is Donald Trump partnering with  a psychopathic,  genocidal but charismatic lunatic that has killed so many Palestinians in cold blood but claiming to be standing up for ethical standards against another evil person?

It's a world where the powerful gatekeepers with powerful military's dictate what is right and what is wrong and use that to exploit their military's to do what they want.

Bomb who they want. Kill who they want. Take what we want. Make up the reasons for doing it. Who can stop them? NOBODY! So they exploit their powerful military's and control of the world with their morally bankrupt, sell serving objectives.

Israel and the United States started this!

OMG!

I just watched Trump's speech. This is completely unhinged. He's shouting at the top of his lungs half the time.

He's reviewing the history of Iran going back many decades ago and blaming that for part of the reason for this unprovoked attack.

He says that the US completely obliterated all the nuclear weapons program last year but Iran planned to start it up again as part of the reason to bomb them.

Bragging about how the US military is the most powerful military in the history of the world. Hugh? So that gives us the right to bomb the crap out of who we want, when we want, where we want and why we want to do it?????

What a moment we are living in. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was the president of peace that only settles (8) wars????

When this one ends, if Donald Trump is still president he will insist that this was another war he settled!!!

Donald Trump tells us in the beginning that this is about defending the United States from Iran, even mentioning the "Death to America" chants which were from Iranian PEOPLE(not just the regime he is trying to over throw) but then it morphs into this being a just cause of a REGIME CHANGE to save the people of Iran (the same ones that were chanting "Death to America") that he was blaming for doing this.

This was last June after the US and Israel bombed Iran, UNPROVOKED.

What TDS can do to people who ordinarily have sense. "Trump suddenly bombed Iran" by MM.   Dear MM.

This started in 1979. Suddenly? This job was left to Trump by thousands of do nothing bureaucrats. Chief on that list has to be obama who dropped billions on Iran instead of stopping Iran he aided them in killing Americans.  That was once before Obama, was called treason. Suddenly??

Thanks very much, mcfarm!

"This started in 1979"

That's exactly my point, mcfarm. Donald Trump going back over 4 decades to blame people that have died a long time ago for this attack?

This is 2026!  Use criteria based on what is happening right now in 2026 for starting an uprovoked attack on Iran in 2026 NOT 1979, please!

If this is a regime change to supposedly save the Iranian people, then don't, at the same time blame the attack on the Iranian people chanting "death to America"

You KNOW the Iranian people have been doing that for decades.

Does using the words "Death to America in legal protests" for decades  in Iran, suddenly in 2026 now justify massive military attacks/bombings from the United States?

++++++++++++++

"What TDS can do to people who ordinarily have sense."

mcfarm,

I will consider that half a compliment because you referred to me as "ordinarily having sense"

Just to remind you for the umpteenth time. I voted for Donald Trump in 2016 and again in 2024 and been crystal clear/transparent on the reasons why. A person with TDS would never vote for Trump BY DEFINITION, especially in the last election that helped get him elected.

US-Israeli strike on Iranian school kills more than 50 students, state media says

More than 50 students have been killed and some 60 more wounded in US-Israeli strikes that hit an Iranian girls' school in  Hormozgan province, state media reported, citing a local official. Washington has not commented on the reported strike.

++++++++++++

If this 1 deadly attack killing so many children is true, especially so early in the attack, then this has already backfired massively from the get go.  This just gave the Iranian regime the moral high ground with a huge group of innocent martyrs that can't be unseen.

Quite frankly, this is/was inevitable but Donald Trump is unable to see the negative consequences to so many of his ruinous actions because he is blinded by his pathological thinking:

https://www.marketforum.com/forum/topic/117371/

Iran will ALWAYS have the moral high ground advantage in this war.

1. Israel and the United States started it.

2. There was no provocation or imminent threat to the United States or Israel to justify it.

3. The number of innocent people killed will pile up in Iran CAUSED BY Israel and the United States bombing the heck out of Iran.

4.  Even if Israel  or other countries lose innocent people from Iran's weak attempt to defend itself with missiles in Israel, it's totally justified because Iran was attacked unprovoked.

5. The overwhelming/massive advantage in military strength and firepower for Israel and the United States over Iran, as well as them starting this  clearly makes this a David and Goliath story where the US and Israel are huge bullies, using their military's to get what they want from a weaker country.

6. Yes, Iran is an evil empire. No, this is not following International Law. Not following the US Constitution. Not following ethical laws or basic respect for humanity and people that are different than you or weaker than you.

Hey Mike,

This is admittedly confusing. However, I can assure you based on my Iranian-American friend’s accurate info that the Iranians chanting “D to A” represent only the ~20% of them who support the Mullahs. In many cases they’re paid by the regime to make them look like they have more support than they really have. So, there really are folks to save, the other 80%.

Edit: That being said, I’m not saying I’m in favor of US/Israel attacking now, especially based on the lack of success/big mess after the fact with regime change in Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan

My friend prefers the US/Israel stick to covert actions rather than war strikes. He prefers the Iranians against the Mullahs, themselves, do regime change with only covert outside help.

Regardless, Trump isn’t doing this legally since he doesn’t have Congress approval.

In your opinion, what % does the number need to be for the US and Israel to justify  bombing/attacking Iran unprovoked?

+++++

Also, as time goes on and there is no regime change with Israel and the United States uniting to decimate their country and kill more and more innocent people, do you think Iranian support will go up or down?

That was a rhetorical question.

It’s clear that if that happens the number of people in Iran that hate the United States will go up by the millions.

As we kill innocent  people and get some of our brave soldiers killed while spending billions in tax payer money to enrich the military industrial complex.

Dont let the convincing propaganda from our morally bankrupt, self serving politicians along with like minded diabolical gatekeepers in Israel blind you/us to the stone cold realities of humanity and where this is going.

High Probability of another counter productive Middle East military intervention that backfires like all the other ones.
Propaganda is designed to be very convincing, telling us things that we wish were true. I get that. We must break our minds free from these self enriching crud’s that are stealing our intelligence for their agenda.

mcfarm,

Since you want to believe that history is a reason to justify this attack/war. Let's go ahead and look comprehensively at that history.

I will also ask you, of the many other wars in the Middle East, which ones were successful in the past and why do you think that this one will be different?

Foreign Policy

A Brief, Bloody History of All the Times the U.S. Caused Chaos in the Middle East

The conflict with Iran is the latest in a decadeslong series of regime change operations, long-term entanglements, and all-out wars that always seem to invite more problems

United States foreign policy in the Middle East

Support for Iran

See also: Iran-U.S. relations, Iran–Contra affair, and Israel's role in the Iran–Iraq war

US-Iran relations drastically changed since the Iranian 1979 revolution. It marked the fall of the Shah and its closeness with the Western world and the takeover of Khomeini with a return to Islamic law. In 1979 the US Embassy in Teheran was caught by protesters, and American civilians were taken hostages.[72] In 1980, the US changed policy to allow Israel to sell American armament to Iran during the war. The deal between US and Israel was coordinated by the State Department Counselor, McFarlane, with US Secretary of State Alexander Haig Jr. and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin agreeing to a 6 to 18 months period weapons' provision.[73]

This support to Iran was first explained as a way to have back the American hostages. Yet, the hostages were delivered before the US supply of weapons to Iran.[74] This armament provision lasts for more than the established period.[73] This was later known as the Iran-Contra Affair publicly divulgated in November 1985. US supplied weapons to Iran through Israel, and the profit gained went to finance the Contra rebels, opponents to the Nicaragua Sandinista Front

+++++++++++

Please tell me which of these wars and US interference paid dividends for the United States?

I content that every single one made many things worse. Worse for that country. Killing people in that country. Worse for our relations with that country. Costing us our brave soldiers to lose ground. Costing tax payers billions.

What makes this current endeavor an exception to any of that????

+++++++++++++

Basically, the difference in understanding the above authentic truths and not is believing in the current propaganda brainwash to justify this current war or seeing the truth.

Reining in America’s Military Industrial Complex

https://quincyinst.org/militaryindustrialcomplex/

“Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.

– President Dwight D. Eisenhower, April 16, 1953, “Chance for Peace”

Seventy years ago, President Dwight D. Eisenhower delivered his “Chance for Peace” speech, tallying up the costs of United State’s Cold War militarization and comparing our extraordinary expenditures on weapons to Americans’ unmet needs.

Today, America’s $858 billion war budget is at one of the highest levels since World War II. When the 20 year and $2 trillion war in Afghanistan ended, Pentagon spending went up. Defense spending is now higher than during the peak of the Cold War, or the heights of the Vietnam or Korean wars. America spends more than twice as much as China on its military forces; America spends more on war than the next nine countries combined.

“Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron.”

America’s massive military budget fails to keep America safe while enabling Washington’s continued pursuit of global U.S. military primacy, a strategy which has yielded massive, costly failures. “Is there no other way the world may live?” Eisenhower asked. Yes — a foreign policy that emphasizes military restraint and diplomatic engagement and cooperation with other nations will serve American interests and values better than policies that prioritize the maintenance of U.S. global dominance through force.

Again, our side, the supposed good side bombing an all girls school and killing at least 60 girls, wounding at least 63 from the get go is a catastrophic blunder that we can’t fix.

This operation was bound to keep killing more and more innocent people with time and gradually erode the support/increase condemnation but for that to happen on a scale this horrendous just hours after we started dropping the bombs has just decimated the credibility of the so called “Good Guys”…….right from the start.
This was a CRIME AGAINST THE IRANIAN PEOPLE.

Especially the attempts to bamboozle people with the idea that we are doing this to free the people of Iran from this oppressive regime.

The only ones that we are truly setting free  from Iranian leadership are those we send to Allah…….who weren’t asking for it.

Trump promised to end ‘regime change.’ Now he’s urging Iranians to topple their government.

Trump’s bombing of Iran marks the eighth military intervention of his second term. The president spent his political career pledging the opposite.

https://www.ms.now/news/trump-iran-strikes-regime-change-vance-hegseth

Throughout the 2024 campaign, Trump promised to “expel the warmongers” from government and branded himself as the “peace” candidate against a Democratic opponent he warned would trigger “World War III.” Vice President JD Vance built his foreign policy reputation on denouncing Middle East interventions as disasters. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth just last December pledged to end “regime change” and “undefined wars.”

The record of statements from Trump and his top officials reveals a consistent pattern of anti-interventionist rhetoric that has collided with the administration’s choice to bomb Iran.

Here’s what they said then — and what they’re doing now.

“In your opinion, what % does the number need to be for the US and Israel to justify  bombing/attacking Iran unprovoked?”

————-

MM,

Iran is a pretty unique country in having about worst leaders on globe while 80% can’t stand them with many wanting US/Israel to take them out. The strong majority of citizens (mainly secular Persians) are totally different from their leaders (far right extremists limiting freedom). Although I fully understand the sentiment of the Iranians against the horrible regime (made more understandable by what my friend tells me) and that many want Israel/US to go after regime change, I don’t know that there’s any % that justifies to me the US going in unprovoked, especially w/o Congress’ approval:

-illegal w/o Congress

-Trump campaigned on not starting/staying out of wars

-Expensive and costs both countries’ lives, including the Iranian children already killed

-After regime change, it’s become huge mess/worse in other cases

-Is DT doing this to divert attention from Epstein?

-Iran stronger/has much larger pop. than other cases. My friend estimates 5 million who’d risk their lives for the Mullahs. That’s a lot!

There are going to be many different opinions.

However, this industry is dominated by corrupt profit making incentives that drive it towards using our military weapons in NON DEFENSE endeavors and now, we are seeing that in the aptly renamed Department OF WAR!

However, this guy was 86 years old and in poor health. He had outlived most expectations for the length of his leadership. I'm certain that they have planned on his replacement for many years because of his age.

Will this regime decide to capitulate because Trump and Netanyahu are putting extreme pressure on them?

Did Hamas throw down their weapons and surrender like Trump claimed they would when he declared the Gaza War was over ~5 months ago?

Not even close!

We'll see what happens.

We can be confident that the replacement for this leader was chosen years ago and that persons political belief system closely aligns with the guy just assassinated (or he wouldn't have been picked). Along with that 1 replacement, there are others in the regime.

People indoctrinated with a belief system that defines their thinking don't just change their minds overnight for reasons X, Y and Z that somebody else decided for them.

It's almost impossible to change a person's religious view, right???

These people have a faith in their POLITICAL belief system that's almost as tenacious as the faith that we have in whatever religion that we were indoctrinated into growing up.

++++++++++++++

Not to be overlooked is the extraordinary expensive that this is costing US taxpayers(while enriching the Military-Industrial-Political complex).

The assumption here by Donald Trump is that the protesters will take over the government but it could end up in a massive slaughter of those protesters who are mowed down by this regime.

I feel very confident that Netanyahu made this decision and dragged Donald Trump in.

Sadly, Netanyahu has completely obliterated his credibility on anything related to military actions by exposing his true mentality with a 2+ year horrific genocide in Gaza. If not for what he did in Gaza, I would give him the benefit of the doubt.

Netanyahu has blatantly lied hundreds of times and is a diabolical psychopath.

Iran is without question, led by an evil regime that has sponsored terrorism for decades, so it's impossible to feel bad for them about this happening.

However, one has to chose which diabolical psychopaths to align with.

In this case, at this time,  I choose to follow International laws, the Constitution, the truth and other rock solid principles/rules.

It wasn't Iran that violated all of those realms the past 24 hours!

+++++++++++++++++++

It's extremely good to take out this leader to hold him accountable for his crimes.

However, what about the tens of thousands of innocent children and women that Netanyahu killed in cold blooded murder/genocide?

Why isn't this war criminal, Netanyahu being held accountable for his horrific crimes?

Instead, we are supposed to cheer for this psychopath and war criminal with this endeavor because now, he going after actual evil?

The rules are dictated by the most powerful men with the most powerful military's.

And what about Donald Trump? Why not take him out?

He's the extremely unpopular leader of a regime he appointed that has pledged allegiance to Donald Trump. Violating International laws by murdering people on boats with impunity. Illegally taking a country by force with his powerful military.

Bombing/attacking 8 different countries in just a year. Causing massive economic chaos and instability around the world with illegal tariffs. Destroying long lived relationships with our allies. Threatening to take Greenland.

Exploiting MUCH, MUCH more power than Iran to disrupt the world.

Wreaking much more havoc on the world in the last year than Iran has.

However, like Netanyahu, as the most powerful man in the world there is nobody, no country MORE powerful than him to stop him from doing what he wants as the BIGGEST bully.

Iran has been a bully in their own right, make no mistake but Donald Trump, in the last year and Netanyahu in the last 2+ years make Iran look like they are not that bad.

We know with absolute certainty that Donald Trump is unable to grasp the understanding of something as absolute as the economic principles of global trading between poor and rich countries and the impact of illegal tariffs, including who pays them.

Why would anybody think that in an area so much more complicated as this one, that he has the ability to comprehend the consequences of his decisions?

A bit of late news that should end most doubt or debate about the mission. I say should because as its proven multiple times the left wants America vs how it was founded. This past year has more than proven that.

So late this week during the negotiations and quite tired of the Iranian lies about nuclear energy vs bombs the Americans offered these lying cheating killing bastards free nuclear energy forever. Now if these dumb bastards are so stupid as to turn that down to continue the lies they told Obama and others then that pretty much ended the debate. So MM word is {as you are worried about his replacement} not only is he dead but over 40 of his chief deputies have joined with the 40 virgins.

As Trump prayed today Please Iranian people rise up take your country to peaceful future.

From my Iranian-American friend, this isn’t surprising at all as it’s consistent with what others have said: this isn’t to say he wanted the US/Israel to do this as he previously said he preferred they stick to just covert support:

Very happy Ayotolla Khmanei is killed but more leaders of that regime must be killed if we want to get rid of this regime totally.
Videos show people of Iran cheering after hearing the news that he was killed.

MAGA rebels Massie and MTG shred ‘America Last’ Trump as vote on Iran strike looms

Greene and Massie echoed sentiments by prominent Democrats including House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer

MAGA rebels Thomas Massie and former congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene have led criticism of Donald Trump’s military operations in Iran, describing the policy as “America Last” and calling for a congressional vote on the strikes.

“We said “No More Foreign Wars, No More Regime Change!” We said it on rally stage after rally stage, speech after speech,” Greene wrote in a lengthy social media post Saturday.

“There are 93 million people in Iran, let them liberate themselves. But Iran is on the verge of having nuclear weapons. Yeah sure. We have been spoon fed that line for decades and Trump told us all that his bombing this past summer completely wiped it all out. It’s always a lie and it’s always America Last.”

That sums it up extremely well, Larry!

The only thing is that Congress needs a 2/3rds majority in both houses to have a veto proof resolution to stop the war that  Donald Trumps started with Iran to make Netanyahu happy.

Too many war monger, military-industrial complex’s lobby bribed Rs and MAGA Rs  for the 2/3rds majority.

Thanks, mcfarm!

I voted for Donald Trump because he promised to end the REAL war in Ukraine fast, not end fake wars and START REAL wars like this one. A lot of other people that voted for Donald Trump believed the exact same thing(Larry's article showed them).

SOME of us realize that we got bamboozled because we live in the REAL world, not the MAGA world manufactured by Donald Trump that we wish was true.

You insisted earlier that the long history of Iran is a big reason for this military intervention and attempt to cause a regime change. Let's look at that history for you.

My analysis of Middle East history tells me the complete opposite of what the United States should be doing..........which is LEARNING from the complete failures of the past, some that came back to bite us (9-11).

Worst of all, the leader of another country,  Israel is controlling our foreign policy in the Middle East. This is the most outrageous part of the current dynamic. Donald Trump is violating his promises to the American people and the Constitution because he serves Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel!!!!!!!

As I proved above, The war mongers in Congress are mostly corrupt, morally bankrupt, lobby bribed mouth pieces for the Military-Industrial-Political Complex.

Let me demonstrate that now with a comprehensive analysis from expert reviews of that failed history. There are actually dozens because the failures are so numerous and so catastrophic.

Sadly, 9-11 was the result of our decades of military interventions in the Middle East and the push back from those people who hate us for it.

Is this one going to be different?

Maybe,  but every time we started a new war, we always managed to manufacture justification for it because the war mongers described above(that now include Donald J. Trump) WANTED A WAR. (weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, for instance). The worst part of all in 2026 is that we have Israel controlling our president's critical decisions in the Middle East like never before in history.

mcfarm,

With regards to Fetterman. He's not up for reelection until 2028. If he continues to run as an D, he'll likely lose. I highly doubt that he runs UNLESS he runs as an R (which is why you suddenly like him) because many of the people that voted for him previously as a D want him out ASAP.

So clearly his positions are AGAINST what he promised the Ds in his district to get elected, which is why you like him so much.

I do think he could run as an R in 2028................however, the Rs will be getting crushed in the next 2 elections so he's got a problem both ways.

Or, he could pool enough from both parties and be a surprise if he runs as an R(which is who he really is).

My limited experience observing people that flip parties is that, sometimes the perception from the  party that you leave is an especially intense loathing for you as a betrayer compared to a person that always had differing views (and doesn't know any better).

Fetterman has clearly flipped his party belief system and affiliation on many issues.

Tracking the Approval Ratings of All 100 U.S. Senators

Fetterman’s standing has improved: Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) has a 51% approval rating, higher than it was when President Donald Trump took office. However, there’s been a lot of movement beneath the surface. His approval rating among Democrats since the end of 2024 has declined from 72% to 48%, but that’s been countered by an increase from 27% to 59% among Republicans, giving him severe bipartisan backing.

This is PROPAGANDA 101 from Donald Trump!!!

A seriously ill 86 year old leader that was on the verge of being replaced getting killed isn't a regime change and this doesn't represent NEW leadership. They must know that.

The OLD leadership still running the government might very well be motivated to make an agreement( I strongly believe that Donald Trump didn't really want an agreement as bad as he wanted to follow what Netanyahu wants him to do).

One way this can go in Donald Trump world is to suddenly announce the war is over and that Iran is making agreement X, Y or Z that he could have gotten before the attack but he claims his attacks/war caused while also bragging that this is the 9th war that Donald Trump has stopped.

You see, Donald Trump claiming it, will make is so!

Let me repeat that. Donald Trump claiming it, will make it so!!!

This, despite the fact that this war did not have to happen and an agreement could have been made without the war/unproved attacks and much of what Donald Trump has said the past year has completely contradicted other things that Donald Trump has said about Iran and his American First agenda during that period.

Good one, Larry!

Thinking about this more.

When does Donald Trump ever acknowledge a mistake or something that went wrong?

When things go wrong, he just twists the facts like a pretzel so that the story he tells is one about him being exactly right and the hero. That is the constant theme to all his stories.

In what world would that not also be the case in how this turns out in Iran, according to Donald Trump?

Whatever happens, Donald Trump will spin up a story that features him as the hero. He's the most powerful person in the world, in cahoots with another extremely powerful person and he totally controls what comes out from our government...........which is the main, direct source for what's going on about key elements of the operation.

Iran can contradict some of this stuff but they have a long history of extremely low credibility. Even if Iran is telling the truth and contradict Donald Trump and Netanyahu, nobody believes Iran.

We're going to be stuck with Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu's version.

The saddest thing about it, as is always the case will be all the innocent people that are killed that didn't need to die.

I get why Netanyahu has designed this scheme against Israel's mortal enemy, Iran. Even if it's diabolical and we know his mindset from watching him in Gaza for almost 2.5 years, I get that Israel is trying to survive, surrounded by enemies that hate them and want to wipe them off the face of the earth (even as he makes the hatred of Israel worse and WORSE).

I get why he wants the most powerful man and by far, the most powerful army in the world on his side, fighting Israels strongest mortal enemy, Iran.

However, using Donald Trump, like he's an asset of Israel, puppet of Ben Netanyahu serving the needs of Netanyahu, betraying his promise to the American people. Violating our Constitution. Deceiving and double crossing the American people as he does the complete opposite of what he promised with his platform to get elected.

metmike voted for Donald Trump because of trusting Donald Trump when he promised to END the Ukraine war fast.

But this is 1,000 times WORSE than that. NOT ending a war that somebody else started is one thing.

However, starting a war with a country that was not threatening or provoking us during peace talks against International Law, the US Constitution and against the will of the American people because the leader of another country tell him too?

This is off the charts egregious and the strongest evidence yet that he is unqualified to be president of the United States. The 25th Amendment should be invoked ASAP!

It won't but what will happen is an even steeper price to his party this November. Then, the impeachment investigation begins with near 100% certainty from the House which will be controlled by the Ds.

++++++++++++++++++++

I fully recognize how evil this regime is in Iran. If this succeeds in completely replacing them (not Donald Trump bs-ing us later this month with his usual twisting of facts and lies)  then it will have been worth it.

If not, then he sabotaged his own opportunity to negotiate a deal WITHOUT all this unnecessary damage because Netanyahu told him to do this against the will of the American people.

A peace agreement between Iran and the US is the opposite of what Netanyahu wants. That would mean that Israel has to go it alone against the arch enemy.

That's why, when Donald Trump was on the verge of making a peace agreement with Iran last June......Netanyahu suddenly bombed Iran, falsely claiming that Iran was within days of having THE bomb. ..........and days later, had Donald Trump go from seeking peace to dropping bunker buster bombs. Talk about and 180 change in strategy based on NOTHING other than what Netanyahu told Donald Trump to do.

That's exactly what happened last year!!!!

Pope Leo condemns "spiral of violence" in Iran strikes

https://www.axios.com/2026/03/01/iran-us-trump-israel-strikes-pope-leo

Pope Leo XIV condemned the escalating violence in the Middle East and Iran Sunday, warning that the "spiral of violence" risks becoming "an unbridgeable chasm."

The big picture: The first American pontiff has been a vocal critic of the Trump administration's policies since becoming pope last May, previously condemning the president's "zeal for war" following U.S. military operations in the Caribbean and the capture of Venezuelan leader Nicolás Maduro.

What he's saying: "Stability and peace are not achieved through mutual threats, nor through the use of weapons, which sow destruction, suffering, and death, but only through reasonable, sincere, and responsible dialogue," Leo said during his weekly address at St. Peter's Square.

Amen to that!

Live updates: Trump on ‘Operation Epic Fury’; won’t rule out sending U.S. troops into Iran if ‘necessary’

Iran's top national security official, Ali Larijani, vowed "we will not negotiate with the United States," as the conflict intensified after the killing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

WAR WON’T BE ‘ENDLESS’: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said today that the war in Iran will not be “endless” and that the U.S. goal was not regime change.

++++++++++++++++

"US goal was not regime change" from the TOP leader in the US military. We wonder why Hegseth(who got the job by being a Fox News anchor) has no credibility? This is the person leading our military strikes in Iran, to bombs boats to murder people in International waters, to take over Venezuela.

I will guess that they realize their crystal clear objective of regime change, which Donald Trump told us was the objective may very well not be accomplished AFTER they read about all the reasons that it may fail.......and now, they are just positioning to TWIST THE FACTS in case it fails. To tell us they accomplished everything  (even though they didn't).

There is no world in which Donald Trump is president  in that whenever, however or whatever happens that Donald Trump will not spin this to be the greatest military victory in United States history.

It's possible that this could lead to a legit regime change (not just a Donald Trump manufactured regime change and best deal in history(that he could have had WITHOUT the war)).

There is tremendous uncertainty about most things right now but none whatsoever about how Donald Trump will spin it when everything is over with.

Steadfast support for Israel’s security has been a cornerstone of American foreign policy for every U.S. Administration since the presidency of Harry S. Truman.  Since its founding in 1948, the United States has provided Israel with over $130 billion in bilateral assistance focused on addressing new and complex security threats, bridging Israel’s capability gaps through security assistance and cooperation, increasing interoperability through joint exercises, and helping Israel maintain its Qualitative Military Edge (QME).   This assistance has helped transform the Israel Defense Forces into one of the world’s most capable, effective militaries and turned the Israeli military industry and technology sector into one of the largest exporters of military capabilities worldwide.

Thanks, Mike. Interesting info you provided about NATO not being as supportive as what I had posted suggested.

My longtime Iranian-American friend, who like me doesn’t at all like both of the evil leaders Trump and Bibi and who wasn’t at all in favor of the U.S./Israel attacking instead of sticking with covert help, does want them (now that they’re there) to kill as many of the mullahs as possible because they’re all evil, themselves, and the most evil toward innocent Iranians.

 Mike, it’s very complicated!

By the way, I thought Trump’s #1 was affordability. How is causing crude and gasoline to skyrocket helping with affordability? Surely, I’m not the only one confused, right?

About as complicated as it gets. And making it much worse is the propaganda, disinformation and flat out lies mixed in with authentic facts.

Even those that know most of the authentic facts have strong disagreements based on ethics, HUMANITY, politics, finances and risks vs potential rewards.

Hey Mike, I know you’re not at all a fan of former CIA Director John Brennan, but by golly he sure sounds a lot like you when it comes to Bibi/Israel:

  He thinks

-this is the 2nd time this century that the US is making a drastically bad mistake with Iraq the 1st one. Also, Iran is much larger than Iraq.

“This is such a tragic senseless and needless loss of life.” “There was no imminent threat.”

“Clearly I think the Admin. is now making things up in order to justify what’s happening.” What’s clear to Brennan is that Bibi, who has long wanted a major operation against Iran, was able to bring Trump along.

“we could have said to the Israelis ‘you do not go forward because we’re not going to help you’”

Brennan asked, “Don’t we have leverage over Israel?”

We were involved in negotiations twice within a year and Iran got hit both times…deception to Iranians.

Per Brennan, DT irrespective of the intelligence and that the nuclear program was badly damaged by the bunker bombs last year, is “making things up about what the Iranians are doing”.

He said that just because Khameini and some others were killed and that many Iranians despised Khameini and are glad he’s dead, that doesn’t mean the mullah regime is about to fall because a lot of people support the mullahs.

Brennan said that in no uncertain terms, this war is based entirely on decisions made by Bibi and Trump, period!

 ————

My friend estimates nearly 20 million support the mullahs. That’s ~20% of citizens.

Thanks very much, Larry!

And it got even worse with them making things up to justify the attack.

This is what we've been getting the past 2 days.

1. Donald Trump is crystal clear that this is all about regime change and trying to kill as many leaders as he can. Bragging today about how many that he has already killed.

2. His Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth said it's NOT about regime change as noted earlier.

3. Today, the other top dog in this, Secretary of State Marco Rubio gave the most mind boggling explanation of all.  He claims that our country had no choice but to attack Iran to defend the United States. HUGH??? According to Rubio, when we found out that Israel's attack was imminent, they assumed that would mean that Iran would attack the United States after they were attacked,  so they couldn't wait for Iran to attack and had to attack Iran first.

That's insane logic by itself but it tells us that we just started a serious war with another country, initiating a 100% UNPROVED attack on a sovereign nation that was posing no threat to us and against International law and our top 3 leaders and decision makers are all giving us 3 completely different reasons for why we did it 2 days later!

That is the most crazy thing we've witnessed yet from this administration.

What makes it especially shocking is that Trump's minions usually parrot whatever ideas and reasons that he orders them to respond with.

I strongly agree with everything that you quoted Brennan saying.

Even if I was in favor of this attack and even if I was a member of MAGA, I would be extremely concerned that Trump, Hegseth and Rubio are giving 3 completely opposite reasons for starting a war with Iran.

This is what happened with Iraq. They had decided to start that war and completely made up weapons of mass destruction in Iraq to justify it.

Same thing here. Donald Trump, following Netanyahu wanted a war but unlike weapons of mass destruction used by Bush, he and his people are making up different reasons to justify it........but they are contradicting themselves on the reasons(excuses).

For them to claim they had to attack Iran because,  Iran would try to defend themselves against an unprovoked attack is crazy logic.

Iran is just supposed to lay down and die when attacked by somebody that they did not provoke or do anything to justify the attack.

Donald Trump is pretending to have empathy for the first time in his life and caring about the protesters that were killed but at the same time. Netanyahu pretending to care about the Iranian people is the most absurd thing of all.

Netanyahu is a man that killed tens of thousands of innocent Muslims because he hates them so much but we are supposed to believe he cares about the Muslims in Iran(that hate him)?

And his empathy for them is so great, that he wants to free them by using his powerful military from Israel.

Larry, it makes me feel sad to say this but unfortunately, Israel's unjustified actions in Gaza ramped up the antisemitism in many places in the world, including our country.

1. Antisemitism as well as abusive words and treatment dished out to other people because they're different than us is VERY wrong. There is NEVER an excuse for this behavior.

2. This is NOT the same as Gaza. However, it's dead wrong and Israel is behind it.  Taking that out on Jews living in the United States makes as much sense as  one of us traveling to country X and the people there that hate Donald Trump use it to persecute me!

This explanation by Rubio is stunning!

Larry,

Agree that it’s a mystery on Trump seeming to be oblivious about the huge hike in crude and gas prices.

He wants lower interest rates to stimulate the economy and this couldn’t be more counterproductive for that because of higher inflation that is preventing the Fed from lowering interest rates.

Exact thing with tariffs. I am baffled that he could really be that ignorant in not understanding the unavoidable math which happens. US companies pay the tariffs on foreign goods that  they buy and then sell to Americans.

Only 2 things can happen after that.

1. They can pass that extra cost on to US consumers when they buy that company’s products.

2. They can eat the cost and make less money.

In reality maybe it’s a combination of the 2 but there is no magical mystery MAGA wand that Donald Trump waves for HIS tariffs that diverts the cost to the country’s he’s trying to punish.

We pay the tariffs. Just like we’re already paying higher gas prices because of his war in Iran.

I noticed sharply higher prices at the pump today.

I heard an expert on NPR this afternoon tell us how gas prices react to supply threatening news.

He said “they go up like a rocket but come down like a feather”

Exclusive: Israel decided to kill Iran’s leader after Oct. 7 attack

This is the most profound part of the current war with Iran.

It couldn't be more crystal clear that:

1. Netanyahu intentionally started both the wars with Iran in the last years.

2. Worst of all, the timing was intended to sabotage peace agreements that Donald Trump was working on at both those times.

This is why the White House is struggling to come up with the reasoning for why they attacked Iran. Contradicting each other.  It would look bad to tell the truth.........Israel made us do it!

So they are making up different reasons and looking even worse!

For those with short memories or that don't want to remember this. Last June, Donald Trump had a trip scheduled to meet with Iran's leadership to hash out details on a peace plan and SUDDENLY, Israel announced that Iran was days away from having  a nuclear bomb and it necessitated an immediate strike BEFORE Trump could meet with them.

Let me remind you that Donald Trump's own intelligence, Tulsy Gabbard had just done a comprehensive study/investigation that reported Iran was years from having that capability. It was the latest, coming out in March 2025 based on our own solid intelligence.

So Donald Trump completely ignored all the intelligence of THE UNITED STATES. Completely ignored his OWN WORK on the peace agreement and threw everything away because Netanyahu told him to bomb Iran.

This is outrageous that Donald Trump is allowing a foreign country to completely control, not just our foreign policies in the Middle East but is solely responsible for dragging us into a huge war that was intentionally designed by a diabolical schemer of that country.

++++++++++++

It's all documented here!

Readers should read the entire thread below from last June. It tells us everything we should know about the current, MUCH WORSE war with Iran that Netanyahu, intentionally dragged Donald Trump into.

This was immediately followed by this video posted by Netanyahu:

This is sickening. In my lifetime, I've never seen a foreign leader do this to the United States. Every really dumb war we've entered in the past was the result of our own bad leadership in cahoots with the United States Military-Industrial-Political complex.

This was stands out totally from all those.

Donald Trump has allowed Benjamin Netanyahu to control our Middle East policies and that includes intentionally sabotaging peace between the US and Iran(with bombings every time that looks possible) and worst of all is entirely responsible for the United States to be in the current war with Iran.

Donald Trump should be relieved of his duties immediately because he is a TRAITOR to the United States of America.

Completely betraying his promises to America with his American First agenda. Violating the Constitution of the United States repeatedly now in Iran. Violating International Laws. Violating ethical and humanitarian standards to SERVE ONE MAN. The same one who has an arrest warrant out for his arrest for his 2.5 year horrific genocide in Gaza, killing tens of thousands of innocent children and women.

The man running rogue state Israel is MUCH, MUCH worse than even Putin.

Putin is about as evil as it get's but Putin didn't cause us to attack a foreign nation, unprovoked that was no threat to us for his agenda or do anything close to being in the vicinity of how Netanyahu is running our foreign policy in the Middle East.

This is the most extreme, egregious violation of the United States of America of any type in my lifetime.

That it happened is NOT an opinion. The authentic and indisputable facts are all shown.

The only question is how people want to view it.

1. Do you respect the rule of law and the right of the United States as a democracy that has a Constitution to represent the rights of the people in our country and when that is violated by a foreign entity in the most egregious manner in history, think there should be consequences (the least of which are to REJECT THAT PERSON AND HIS DIABOLICAL, SELF SERVING AGENDA).

2. Will you ignore all of that because you think the ends justifies the means or you hate Iran or you're MAGA, that supports everything that Donald Trump does, no matter how egregious.

Again, I recognize exactly who Iran is and why they deserve to be neutered. However, the manner in which we are going about it is in violation of what makes the United States a sovereign nation and democracy by  several orders of magnitude compared to  any end result, should it be successful.

The worst part of all is that not only do we have the most egregious infraction to our country's democracy by a foreign entity in history, the results, on top of that have the potential to be catastrophic!!!

Make no mistake about who should be held accountable for this.

The man who just betrayed the United States of America to serve the diabolical leader of a foreign country!

I know this sounds wacky. But what if the new Iranian govt will agree to provide asylum to DT if he were to be found guilty with regard to Epstein/pedo? I’m not saying he did anything criminal with Epstein as we still don’t know. But what if he did and he knew he needed an escape route? He’d be like a messiah to them. I’m not one to normally believe in conspiracy theories and I’m not saying this one is real. But could it be? Enquiring minds want to know.

Yes that is about the wackiest thing I've ever read.

For one thing Donald Trump is never going to be held accountable for his pedophilia and women abusing antics when he was best friends with Jeffrey Epstein for 15 years but even if he was, Iran would be the last place that he would go for asylum.

The DOJ has or will be sanitizing the evidence of Donald Trump in the Epstein files, so even if the next administration opened everything up...........it will be gone forever because of the current one that has pledged allegiance to protecting Donald Trump as the #1 priority.

They may end up releasing the BAD parts of the Epstein files, that were withheld so far but only after they've had the time to sanitize them.

That's a bunch of hogwash and has been used by Netanyahu for 34 years now. No kidding! Almost as long as we've been told that CO2 was destroying the planet and it greened up instead

The IC continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme Leader Khamanei has not authorized the nuclear weapons program he suspended in 2003. The IC is closely monitoring if Tehran decides to reauthorize its nuclear weapons program.

3. If Iran REALLY wanted to make/enrich to weapons grade uranium and numerous bombs they would have easily been able to do that a very long time ago!!!!

How Do Countries Create Nuclear Weapons?

https://education.cfr.org/learn/learning-journey/nuclear-proliferation-introduction/how-do-countries-create-nuclear-weapons

4. It was Donald Trump's cancelling the previous agreement that elevated the risk of Iran developing their nuclear program to use to make bombs(even though they weren't).

As Trump attacks Iran, his 2017 abandonment of the Iran nuclear deal looks even worse

mcfarm,

You can't dispute those facts. You can't dispute the science. You can't dispute Netanuyu's lies for 3+ decades. You can't dispute the US intelligence report from March 2025. You can't dispute Donald Trump's actions. They all happened as I showed.

It's one thing to believe lies because of not having access to the truth(using bad sources that you trust because they tell you what you want to believe). Netanyahu is an extraordinarily charismatic, world class charlatan. He uses his charm to sell diabolical, self serving schemes.

Now that you have the truth, you don't have to be that way, unless you STILL choose to believe the lies despite reading the proven truth.

++++++++++++++++++++++

Every single one of Netanyahu's and Israel's predictions about Iran's nuclear program have busted extremely badly for 34 years.

Why would anybody ever trust any information from that source???

It would be like a meteorologist predicting an outbreak of tornadoes 10 times in a row and every single time, that day was sunny and pleasant with 0 storms anywhere.

However, I'm not completely naive enough to believe everything coming out of Iran. That's why intelligence coming from the United States in March 2025 was a key to verifying that Iran was NOT in fact on the verge of having nuclear weapons as Netanyahu insisted.

And having weapons grade (90%) uranium is just part of the equation/requirement to make and deliver nuclear bombs.

There needs to be a weapons delivery system and in spite of all the scary reports about enriched uranium(which Iran itself brags about) , Iran doesn't appear to be focusing on that. Instead, ironically Iran has been trying to use it's enriched uranium as leverage to negotiate better terms in agreements that would lift sanctions from other countries. Bragging about its enriched uranium, not trying to hide it.

Just like in June 2025 when Donald Trump was on the verge of a deal with Iran and Israel sabotaged that by suddenly bombing Iran with the bs narrative that Iran was within days of having a nuclear bomb, they did the exact same thing again again this year.

This below was the news just hours  BEFORE Israel bombed Iran(with the US) in order to prevent this deal from happening.

On the verge of a deal, Israel bombed Iran and ordered the US to bomb Iran with them.

Peace ‘within reach’ as Iran agrees no nuclear material stockpile: Oman FM

Oman’s Foreign Minister says most recent indirect talks between US, Iran ‘really advanced, substantially’ and diplomacy must be allowed do its work.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2026/2/28/peace-within-reach-as-iran-agrees-no-nuclear-material-stockpile-oman-fm

“A peace deal is within our reach … if we just allow diplomacy the space it needs to get there,” Al Busaidi said in an interview with CBS News in Washington, DC, after Oman brokered the third round of indirect talks between the US and Iran in Geneva on Thursday.

“If the ultimate objective is to ensure forever that Iran cannot have a nuclear bomb, I think we have cracked that problem through these negotiations by agreeing [on] a very important breakthrough that has never been achieved any time before,” Al Busaidi said.

“The single most important achievement, I believe, is the agreement that Iran will never ever have nuclear material that will create a bomb,” he said.

“Now we are talking about zero stockpiling, and that is very, very important because if you cannot stockpile material that is enriched, then there is no way that you can actually create a bomb,” he added.

There would also be “full and comprehensive verification by the IAEA [International Atomic Energy Agency]”, he said, referring to the UN’s nuclear watchdog.

Oman’s top diplomat also said Iran would degrade its current stockpiles of nuclear material to “the lowest level possible” so that it is “converted into fuel, and that fuel will be irreversible”.

“This is something completely new. It really makes the enrichment argument less relevant, because now we are talking about zero stockpiling,” Al Busaidi said.

Regarding recent US demands regarding Iran’s missile programme, Al Busaidi said: “I believe Iran is open to discuss everything”.

+++++++++++++++

Just like in June 2025, as soon as this news broke, Netanyahu could not allow this peace deal between the US and Iran to happen so he sabotaged it again and quickly attacked Iran, using his power over Donald Trump to cause him to go from negotiating peace(on the verge of a break thru)  to CAUSING A WAR and bombing Iran completely unprovoked to  please his master, in Israel. This is why the US was at such a loss to explain the sudden bombing (with contradictory statements) and what our plans/objectives were.  They couldn't tell the truth. "Netanyahu told us to do it"

This is the most outrageous violation, abuse and interference in US relations with other countries in our history and for Donald Trump to behave as an asset of Israel instead of President of the United States is justification for him to be removed from office immediately.

Thanks very much, mcfarm!

You probably remember my many hundreds of posts holding Joe Biden accountable for his horrible leadership, the worst of which was to INTENTIONALLY allow many millions of people into our country illegally. I referred to him as "The worst president in history" many dozens of times and still believe that he was the worst president in history based on the facts that I showed until this term.

I held him accountable for the Biden family corruption with Hunter in Ukraine and especially for causing the Ukraine war, which he could have prevented if he had just agreed with Putin to NOT let NATO into Ukraine. I agree with Donald Trump on that point. I could copy a dozen threads of me doing that in this post but won't waste the space on this, an UNRELATED thread.

Which is the point, I am not about political parties. I'm an independent. An objective scientist seeking the truth and enlightenment and sharing it generously with people from both parties that I love equally and disagree with equally, depending on the circumstances.

If Donald Trump was a D, I would be every bit as outraged at his words and actions.

So to answer your question, "would I trust any libs with vital war information before a possible attack day question.

1. The party makes no difference to me

2. In this case, there is no question that the United States of America did not determine the attack day. Israel and Netanyahu determined that and TOLD the Donald Trump to attack with them. They did it because this administration was making progress with the Iranian peace talks BOTH TIMES and they had to SABOTAGE THE UNITED STATES in order to prevent the peace agreement that was taking shape.

3. No other administration or president from either party would have ever gone along with this horrific violation of our democracy, Constitution, the American people and relationship with any country in our long history.

4. This is why the key people in the Trump administration were so unprepared to explain why we just attacked Iran and started a war with Israel. Because they were not planning it, Israel was.

5. Trump was insisting this was all about regime change from the get go,  at the exact same time that Pete Hegseth was insisting that this was NOT about regime change at the same time that Marco Rubio chimed in to insist that it was to defend the United States again a theoretical future attack that had not happened but they supposedly knew would happen when Israel attacked. So they absurdly had to attack Iran, unprovoked, against International war first because of defending the United States against a theoretical attack NOT A REAL ONE. The United States was NEVER threatened.

6. I already SHOWED you the truth. The United States of America, led by Donald Trump attacked Iran to please the leader of another country, Benjamin Netanyahu because that leader did not want our country to be successful with our country's peace negotiations that were bearing fruit from every latest indication.

7. Netanyahu was ON TOP of those negotiations and BEFORE the main news media had widely covered this(the good news about the break thru with an agreement)  He attacked as he had planned ALL ALONG to prevent the peace agreements from every having a chance. Then his power over Donald Trump, our leader, who's FIRST PRIORITY was and currently is to please and serve Benjamin Netanyahu  and the interests of Israel.

8. No question that Iran was/is a major threat to Israel but there was no imminent threat to the United States, especially not one that would justify a huge attack. Donald Trump had amassed our military forces to the region, so It's not like he wasn't preparing for this but ALL indications were that he was using this to intimidate Iran into making a peace deal AND IT WAS WORKING!!!  But then Netanyahu sabotaged it for the 2nd time in less than a year.

Peace ‘within reach’ as Iran agrees no nuclear material stockpile: Oman FM

Oman’s Foreign Minister says most recent indirect talks between US, Iran ‘really advanced, substantially’ and diplomacy must be allowed do its work.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2026/2/28/peace-within-reach-as-iran-agrees-no-nuclear-material-stockpile-oman-fm

9. Iran was absolutely NOT on the verge of having nuclear bombs. Our own intelligence confirmed that in March 2025. Donald Trump insisted that he obliterated their capability in June 2025 ON TOP OF THAT. And finally, Netanyahu has been using saying this for 34 years and been wrong every single time. And they were getting close to a deal with this administration on this very topic. How ironic that Israel attacked to stop that deal!!! Think about it, man. Was Iran attacking Israel this year? Was Iran chanting "death to Israel" or "death to America this year"??? Was Iran doing ANYTHING aggressive or confrontational or escalating to suggest an imminent threat to Israel or the United States in 2026???  Instead, like in 2025 they were conducting serious peace talks/negotiations with Donald Trump. Because of the progress being made, Israel had to attack to prevent a peace deal with the United States. Israel needs for Iran to be our enemy in order to USE THE UNITED STATES for Israel's self serving interests in the Middle East. This is pretty diabolical by itself but for our president, one that was elected on a "America First" platform to, instead put Israel first and now do such incredible damage to our best interests and the rest of the world's best interests, outside of Israel's best interests is the most outrageous thing.

We've been hearing/reading about how Iran is no match for the US and Israel and their wimpy response is incredibly underwhelming.

The complete opposite of what we've been hearing/reading about how powerful they are and such an immiment threat.

Here was a statement from last June:

Trump calls Iran's retaliatory strike 'very weak,' says country gave 'early notice' of attack

                                                                        Politics                                        https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/trump-calls-irans-retaliatory-strike-very-weak-says-country-gave-early-notice-of-attack

President Donald Trump said Iran had "a very weak response" to the U.S. bombing of three Iranian nuclear sites and thanked the country's leadership for providing "early notice" of the retaliatory attack.

"I am pleased to report that NO Americans were harmed, and hardly any damage was done," Trump posted on Truth Social. "Most importantly, they've gotten it all out of their 'system,' and there will, hopefully, be no further HATE. I want to thank Iran for giving us early notice, which made it possible for no lives to be lost, and nobody to be injured."

Trump said that Iran might be able to "now proceed to Peace and Harmony" and he said would encourage Israel to do the same.

Donald Trump's press secretary is doing a press conference.

Most just a barrage of lies.

1. She claims that the reports of our side hitting a girls school is propaganda from Iran and people need to stop believing that.

Satellite imagery shows strike that destroyed Iranian school was more extensive than first reported

3. She absurdly claims that "the Iranians, if given the chance would kill everybody in this room and everybody in the United States if they could and we should be grateful that President Trump is preventing them from being able to do that right now"

4. Get this. This event has caused her to stop using the term Department of WAR which Trump and most of his sycophants have been using the past year and she's changed it back to the Department of  DEFENSE!!!!

Just more from Donald Trump-land where up is down and down is up, especially shown in the price charts above.

Seriously, this isn't just somebody telling a few white lies, exaggerating or embellishing. This is a truly DEMENTED person that is completely manufacturing blatant lies that are 180 degrees, in the opposite direction of the truth.

The previous version(of several) was that AFTER the US found out that Israel was going to attack, only then did they realize that they needed to attack because Iran would respond to the attack from Israel by attacking the US.

Now, Donald Trump is claiming that he had magical mystery MAGA clairvoyance that realized on his own that Iran was getting ready to attack the US because they are mentally sick people(despite the reports that Iran had caved in to our demands hours before ISRAEL initiated the attacks and ordered the US to attack)  and supposedly, Donald Trump used his finely  tuned instincts to tip off and force Israel's hand.

Oman foreign minister expresses dismay at US strikes on Iran: ‘This is not your war’

 by Ian Swanson - 02/28/26

Oman Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi, who had been a key player in talks aimed at preventing a war between the U.S. and Iran, expressed dismay at the Saturday morning strikes by the U.S. and Israel.

“I am dismayed. Active and serious negotiations have yet again been undermined,” he wrote on X.

“Neither the interests of the United States nor the cause of global peace are well served by this. And I pray for the innocents who will suffer. I urge the United States not to get sucked in further. This is not your war,” he wrote

On Friday, hours before the strikes, the Omani foreign minister had played up progress in the talks.

well I asked the relevant question, can the crazed left be trusted. Sorry MM, the left loudly and clearly answered. First they vote to withhold funds to defend against terrorism while a terrorist nation is making war then they one up that nonsense by voting Iran is not a sponsor of terror. Now tell again just when and where the crazed leftest are to be trusted? Ohh maybe we can trust them with 9 billion of tax payer fraud in Minnesota, is that where?

hey mc,

Anyone of any party who says the current Iranian regime isn’t a sponsor of terrorism is out of their mind.

Meanwhile, check this out: holy cow!

If anyone saw this in their city or town, they would think: "This is what liberation looks like. We are so grateful to the foreigners bombing our civilian and economic infrastructure and dropping bombs in our neighborhoods." Iranian girls in particular are swooning with joy:

Now they are targeting the fresh drinking water of the tens of millions of INNOCENT people living in Iran. Watch how fast this so called "support" for the war against Iran by the Iranians diminishes after relentless, despicable targeting of those same people by the US and Israel.

The horrible regime running Iran, at least allowed them to have basic necessaries and wasn't obliterating their country with constant fear of being hit by bombs, including those that killed innocent children at a girls school. Anybody that thinks this is even in the vicinity of the ballpark of the method to win over the Iranian people is unable to grasp the stone cold realities.

During this long lived genocide in Gaza, so many pro Israel and Jewish interests squawked about the massive uptick in antisemitism that they claim is unjustified. I speak out constantly against antisemitism. However, it doesn't take a rocket scientist (or atmospheric scientist) to understand that when a rogue state Israel (and the United States) commit horrible atrocities against innocent people/humanity there will be negative consequences from the majority of people that don't buy the complete hogwash propaganda being used to justify their reckless killing of innocent people to accomplish their agenda.

The incredulous justification for doing this defies all the realities of humanity and ethical standards.

You don't win over most people by committing a genocide or by targeting innocents and with a justification that its' "to defend Israel"

I completely buy the fact that it IS "to defend Israel" which IS under siege by it's surrounding neighbors that hate them (gee, I wonder why????)  However, let's use rational thinking about the METHODS being use to "defend Israel" here.

We've covered Gaza extensively. A country of defenseless people. This allowed us to understand the mentality and game plan of Israel/Netanyahu.

They are now applying that in Iran. Making up an emergency that Iran was on the verge of having 11 nuclear bombs.........the same threat we've heard for over 3 decades from Netanyahu and our own intelligence CONTRADICTED last March.

With all this  tremendous UNcertainty about the Iranian nuclear weapons program,  somehow they all know that  Iran has exactly the amount of enriched uranium to make exactly 11 bombs. Give me a break!!! That can only happen when it's PROPAGANDA!!!!

And that we are saving the innocent citizens of Iran...........by destroying their country, killing them and taking away their drinking water.

And that Iran refused to negotiate. Which is a huge LIE. They did this BECAUSE Iran was negotiating and they didn't want a peace agreement with this regime. They did it exactly for that reason in June 2025, when Donald Trump was about to make good on an agreement with Iran, and then again just over a week ago when there was a big break through, featuring Iran making major concessions in their nuclear program.

Those are the stone cold facts. Believing something else is just believing in something you WANT TO BE TRUE that isn't true and believing in propaganda.

Iran may still have access to enriched uranium at site bombed by US last year – report

NY Times says US intelligence believes there’s a ‘very narrow access point’ through which uranium at Isfahan could be moved; Trump doesn’t rule out ground op to secure stockpiles

https://www.marketforum.com/forum/edit_post/118454/

+++++++++++++++++

The exact same sources that justified their complete obliteration of Iran's nuclear program back in June 2025 war and attacks............has to suddenly resurrect it from the dead again to justify this current war(that they claimed would never happen because of their war in June 2025 that would cause lasting peace according to their justification for that war at that time).

This is the same psychopath behind the genocide in Gaza and 3+ decades of claiming that Iran was on the verge of getting nuclear bombs and had to be stopped.

Instead of the "Boy that cried wolf", it's the "psychopath that cried nuclear bombs"

What makes this especially WRONG right now is the fact that Iran HAD JUST AGREED, PEACEFULLY WITH DONALD TRUMP TO RAMP DOWN ITS STOCKPILE OF ENRICHED URANIUM!
