My question is what exactly can the military  do. I doubt they can use firearms to shoot people, although this might help, I doubt it would be a good solution

Trump says he will catch and put these people in tents. How fast can the military build tents. When do they start?? How many can they catch??

I think the tent idea is  good. This catch and release doesn't seem to work 

I am just wondering how the logistics work and also, considering how long the border is, won't a good number of folks slip through the cracks
