The breadth of Avenatti’s alleged crimes is clear in the maximum sentence he would face if convicted on all counts: 335 years in prison.
In a separate federal case in New York, Avenatti faces up to 47 more years if convicted on charges of trying to extort more than $20 million from Nike, the sportswear giant. An indictment in that case is expected soon.

As I've been saying, CNN and others are no longer practicing objective/responsible journalism. They are extreme political activists with an objective to destroy President Trump..........using tabloid news and fake news.
Hate Trump all you want for having the abrasive personality and awful character traits but CNN is one of the biggest global news operations with many dozens of anchors/reporters and many hundreds of people that work for them. They have been abusing the freedom of the press laws in our country in a massive way to impose a political hate driven belief system on their viewers for well over 2 years.
And been rewarded with their sensationalizing, spinning, twisting and even creating fake news...........with loyal viewers that have been convinced to hate Trump more and more.
It's one of the biggest crimes(of brainwashing/propaganda) in history that has unfolded right in front of us, in our living rooms, 24 hours a day, around the clock and is condoned by everybody that also hates Trump.
