Most of us have only read or heard about Guatemala recently because it's one of those poor Central American countries which is sending hundreds of thousands of its people into the United States and illegally entering at our southern border.
There is a reality that exists in Guatemala that my nephew, Luke Maguire Armstrong has dedicated his life to being part of the solution to. A real solution for those that he serves in Guatemala..........children in fact that he helps to provide the resources for to get good nutrition for their bodies and brains as well as an education which helps them to realize the God given potential that all of us were born with.............right there at home in Guatemala!
It's sort of like bringing a piece of the American dream to them right there in their country. Thanks to Luke and others like him there, we can do that for the 81 children who currently receive enormous benefits from the Integral Heart Family programs.

On Thursday, July 18th, the Integral Heart Family will be having their biggest fund raiser of the year. It's a special one because your donation will be matched on that day which makes it even more powerful.......but only on July 18th.
One reason that I'm assisting Luke in this endeavor is because of knowing him and his dedication to this very worthy cause for well over a decade. When I emailed Luke on Sunday to find out what I can do to assist him, this is what he emailed back:
"Hey Mike, great to hear from you— everything happens at the right time — the matching is on July 18th,
I‘m just back in Guatemala after 3 months on the road in America advocating for our Integral Heart Kids
July 18th is one of the biggest match day opportunity The Integral Heart has ever had! In addition to donations being matched on July 18th, the charity with the most donors will receive a $5,000 bonus prize.
(Who’s matching? Our giving platform Global Giving, the Indigogo of charities)
This is huge for us. To get the 5k prize we need all hands on deck for this—even a small donation could mean the difference of 5k for us on July, 18th
Thank you
The support you provide translates into enabled dreams of deserving kids.

Amazing mike — we did it— had a record day! From my Instagram post:
We did it everyone — we mustered up the single biggest response we’ve ever had in a single day. We maxed out our matching — we got a prize for most donors — most importantly, we came together to continue to remake the world — we sustained our program that provides our kids all they need to grow and thrive — our kids have ambitious dreams — they want to be doctors and soccer players, musicians and lawyers—thank you for bringing these dreams to them — when we share what we have with others, we multiple it many fold
Thanks everybody for all your support/generosity. It's doesn't get any better than this!

Back from Detroit.
Thanks again to everybody that supported us last Thursday with donations, prayers, thoughts and in spirit. These are real people/children that you will never meet but if you did, I'm certain that you would like them.................you would like them a lot!
