I read that the Pope is convinced cliate change is real and we need to save the planet
Golly. I am not Catholic but the pope sureely influences many people
Take a trip to the Vatican, [which I have] and you will know what I mean
Now as MM said, if Obama spent millions on a residence only 8' above water, perhaps Obama needs to tell his priest why he does not think his house is in any danger
Do as I say not as I do
The bumper sticker for the left
At least you could say their motto is honest and truthful
Now that would be different
about had it with this pope. between his climate change and wall/gun speeches he has defined himself as one rather large hypocrite
There are several things going on here:
The Pope has no clue about climate change. He lacks the scientific understanding and time to research it. His opinions are formed from 2 elements.
1. His corrupted Pontifical Academy of Scientists(which tells him the science) is in cahoots with the United Nations. They made a pact before the December 2015 Climate Accord.
United Nations
Secretary-General
I thank the Pontifical Academy of Sciences for hosting this important symposium, and His Holiness Pope Francis for extending such a warm welcome.
Pope Francis and I have just had a fruitful and wide ranging conversation.
I commend His Holiness, and all faith and scientific leaders here, for raising awareness of the urgent need to promote sustainable development and address climate.
Mitigating climate change and adapting to its effects are necessary to eradicate extreme poverty, reduce inequality and secure equitable, sustainable economic development.
The United Nations, too, champions the disadvantaged and the vulnerable.
We share a belief in the inherent dignity of all individuals and the sacred duty to care for and wisely manage our natural capital.
And we believe that when people strive toward a common goal, transformational change is possible.
That is why we work in partnership with governments, the private sector, civil society and faith-based groups.
If ever there were an issue that requires unity of purpose, it is climate change.
Science tells us we are far off track from reducing global emissions sufficient to keep global temperature rise below 2 degrees Celsius.
We are currently on course for a rise of 4-5 degrees Celsius.
This would alter life on Earth as we know it.
This is morally indefensible.
It contradicts our responsibility to be good stewards of creation.
Your Eminences,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
People everywhere are realizing we must fundamentally change our ways.
Some world leaders have called for the creation of an “ecological civilization,” others for “development without destruction”.
Many countries are moving down a low-carbon pathway and investing in clean energy that can power truly sustainable development.
To transform our economies, however, we must first transform our thinking, and our values.
In this, the world’s religions can provide valuable leadership.
As the Holy See has said, “there is a moral imperative to act, for we all bear the responsibility to protect and to value creation for the good of this and future generations”.
I very much look forward to the upcoming encyclical by Pope Francis.
I was told by His Holiness that it could be ready, maybe, in June. It is in process of translation.
It will convey to the world that protecting our environment is an urgent moral imperative and a sacred duty for all people of faith and people of conscience.
It is critically important that people and their leaders hear your strong moral voice in the coming months.
metmike: As mentioned many times, the Climate Accord has nothing to do with the Climate. It's entirely a transfer of the worlds wealth plan. With the UN acting as "Robin Hood" taking from the rich and giving to the poor.
Global Socialism. This is the plan and this is what is happening. The only thing keeping the US from being part of it right now is President Trump. When he loses the election in 2020, the new democratic president will be marching the US to a completely different tune.
This man is spelling it out clearly in every way, shape and form and speaking about all of it with "fork tongue"
2. The other reason that this Pope is behind the Climate Accord hoax is because of what it will do.
If there's one thing that defines Pope Francis, its his caring for the world's poor, especially those in undeveloped counties.
This is 100% of what the Climate Accord does. It takes money from the rich countries like the US and redistributes it to the poor countries. It cuts CO2 emissions and cheap, efficient, reliable fossil fuel use in the rich countries like the US and allows poor countries, like China that emit double the CO2 as the US to make it triple the US............and China, thanks to the Obama agreement, would continue to get our money while increasing emissions thru the year 2030.
With the Green New Deal and Climate Accord applied, by the year 2030, much of the world's countries will be on a closer economic playing field with much more equity, balance and fair distribution of the worlds resources around the globe................that IS the entire objective of the Climate Accord. It will do nothing to affect the climate.
The US will have to make sacrifices of course because we are at the top.
We donate tens of billions and take away our key energy sources. No speculation, that's IN the Climate Accord.
That IS the Green New Deal(economic part).
That IS a big part of the platform/agenda that Bernie Sanders and the dems are running on.............ALL of them.

It's right there for all to see with crystal clear clarity. Anybody that doesn't see it, doesn't want to see it or is caught up in a religious cult type faith that blinds their critical thinking and common sense.
Just a bunch of made of stuff to sell a fake climate crisis in order to save the planet(from the best weather/climate and CO2 levels in at least 1,000 years-climate optimum)
