It was uploaded to YouTube in 2013 (honestly I'm surprised the YouTube overlords have allowed it to stay up), but the description on the video says that the interview was done 29 years prior.

One of the saddest truths about their plan is that energy costs in country's like the US, under a Green New Deal scenario will at least double and by a wide margin, hurt the POOR in the US the most(because utility and fuel bills are will gobble up more of their smaller incomes). But the UN agenda is only concerned with poor countries, even as it crushes poor people in rich countries, like the US, who by definition of the plan, will be dependent on the government for everything.
You have seen all my data and science that shows the planet greening up, the booming biosphere, record crop yields and life flourishing.
But as the guy said, it doesn't matter. This is what I've been saying for over a decade. The authentic science doesn't matter because the faith in the climate crisis and the high priests/gatekeepers of the message is unshakeable.

A timeline with regards to their long lived effort to unite every country on the planet under one ruling entity, the United Nations to create global socialism. For the Medieval Warm Period compared to today all scientific studies below:
Red balloons showed it was warmer.
Blue was colder than today.
Reds are greater than blues by a very wide margin and show the global warmth(greater than today) was widespread across the planet(one side insists that, yeah it was warmer but the warmth was just regional around Greenland to explain how the Vikings settled there and even grew some cold tolerant crops like barley where today, its still too cold to grow there).

It was also this warm 2,000 years ago during the Roman WARM Period and also just over 3,000 years ago, during the Minoan WARM period, evidence suggests maybe even warmer.
Note the name before period.........WARM. The results of all the authentic scientific studies are how those periods got called WARM periods.
But the warmest period of all during the last 10,000 years was not just called WARM it has always been and still is referred to the Holocene climate OPTIMUM, which occurred between 9,000 and 5,000 years ago. Like today's warmth and that of previous warm periods, the highest latitudes warmed the most with these NATURAL WARMING events.

metmike: 2019 is still considered the Holocene period in geology which began, by definition at the end of the last glacial period that ended 11,650 years ago.

The graph below ends well before the year 2000 and so it doesn't show what is at least another 1 deg. C temp spike up at the end of the graph. But clearly it was a heck of a lot warmer in Greenland thru much of the last 8,000 years. Crystal clear!
1. So by any objective standard, it was clearly warmer than this in the past before increasing CO2 from humans burning fossil fuels would have had an affect.
2. The descriptions of that warmth, on all scientific studies previous to when the UN hijacked climate science were universally, indisputably beneficial/positive.
3. The Mother of all warm periods, since the end of the last glacial period that was MUCH warmer than this in the higher latitudes has always been referred to as the Holocene Climate OPTIMUM. It will take another couple of centuries of warming at this rate to reach similar warmth in the highest latitudes.
4. This is not metmike's verbiage or definition. It's the authentic science and all the evidence to support it conclusively right here in black and white. The data is the data. It's been this warm or warmer during at least 4 periods that lasted over 150 years each over the last 6,000 years.
Enter the picture, United Nations in the 1980's with a brilliant scheme to accomplish their objective of creating global socialism in part to balance the vastly unequal wealth and resource distribution in the world between the rich countries(with the US being the richest) and the mostly poor countries on the planet(some extremely poor).
Also to accomplish their huge objective of sustainable development. Rich countries are currently consuming natural resources at an UNsustainable rate. Something must be done to slow down their consumption...........and the only way to do that is to slow down their economies.
Every developed/rich countries life blood that powers their economy is access to cheap, reliable and abundant energy...............in all cases, fossil fuels(oil, natural gas and coal).
Burning fossil fuels emits CO2, which has increased from under 300 parts per million to over 410 ppm currently. CO2 is also a greenhouse gas that helps to beneficially warm the planet(towards the next climate optimum).
What if you could convince the world that the perfect global temperature and CO2 level was back when we started burning fossil fuels at the start of the age of industrialization and that CO2 (which was extraordinarly deficient a century ago and is a beneficial gas in biology, agronomy, zoology, climate science) is a pollutant causing all sorts of harm?
It's mostly based on busted computer models programmed with mathematical equations that were picked 3 decades ago to simulate a theoretical atmosphere. They have been too warm.........but are not being changed to adjust model projections down to measured warming, which has been much less.........because they would no longer support a crisis to scare people. They need to scare people to get them to act. So politicians like Bernie Sanders and entities like the UN insist we do exactly as they say to save the planet using schemes like the Climate Accord and Green New Deal that would do absolutely nothing to affect the weather or climate. They will accomplish the objective..........socialism and the fair distribution of wealth to everybody based on the Robin Hood principle.................and ratcheting down the amount of over consumption by the over developed rich countries.
The Climate Accord will do almost nothing to the climate. China emits double the CO2 emissions as #2 emitter, the USA. China's pledge, because they are considered an undeveloped country by the UN's definition in the Climate Accord is that they will consider cutting emissions by the year 2030................and they get our money because they are a poor/undeveloped country.
So if CO2 emissions were really destroying the planet, then the Climate Accord would be telling us that its ok to have the planet destroyed by one of the UN's undeveloped/poor countries..........China.
CO2 emissions are well mixed in the global atmosphere. If China and India are increasing CO2 faster than other countries are cutting CO2(and they are).................CO2 will continue to go higher(and it will).
This is what makes the Green New Deal in the US so cotton pickin dumb. Even if we cut our emissions to zero here in the US by eliminating cheap, reliable, abundant and powerful fossil fuels..............with China continuing to increase their CO2 emissions, the global CO2 emissions can still actually go higher as the US suffers a major energy supply shortage crisis and economic ruin...........while China continues to experience robust growth powered by fossil fuels.
This is how they did it:
Initially, the United Nations created the IPCC(Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change) in the late 1980's. It was determined that this entity would be the worlds authority on human caused climate change and all governments and its scientists would follow their reports as their "climate bible" for what has turned into religious type beliefs about some of the information as they ignore the actual observations and focus on the use of climate models to determine governmental policies.
The profound evidence that the IPCC was blatantly corrupted early on, in a way that will be hard for you to comprehend..........but the proof is right here on the following pages.
One of the first things that the IPCC did was to erase the Medieval Warm Period from climate history.......because it showed temperatures warmer than this without humans causing it. Several corrupt climate scientists, especially Michael Mann and his tree ring study which led to the "hockey stick" graph played key roles.
Seriously, since they were deemed the world's climate authority, wiping out the Medieval Warm Period was accepted by mainstream science despite all the evidence that I just showed. Governments, governmental scientists, the MSM and the gate keepers..

When Jones/Mann(from the IPCC/UN) came out with their biased climate study1998/99 , using 1 set of tree rings in 1 location........... the 100 studies that showed the warmer Medieval WARM period that I proved earlier.....were completely discarded. CLIMATE HISTORY WAS REWRITTEN AND THE NEW HISTORY has been taught every since then. What else would explain the temperature graphs above that all line up with Mann 1999/Jones 1998/Briffa 2001(the hockey stick graph).....and were completely different than before then.
This was shortly after climate science was hijacked and climate history was rewritten, using the hockey stick graph, with these other scientists, being retrained with the new belief system(do know that in the 1990's-metmike was one of them before my independent objective analysis contradicted it because I was trained before the brainwash).......were effected by it. Look at the years of the studies they chose and they did not pick any of the 100+ other studies that I showed earlier which show something completely different. It's as if, suddenly every scientist(that we see) agrees on extreme warming now- when before-most thought it was warmer in the Medieval Warm Period)...like a switch was flipped.
So we have:
1. Mostly younger generation of scientists taught after climate science was hijacked by the UN/IPCC showing one thing-the warmest(some say in the last 125,000 years) and
2. Most of the older scientists not taught anything except to follow the data before climate science was hijacked finding something completely different....that would be metmike.
The Medieval Warm Period was 1,000 years ago, so the data didn't suddenly change. They took 1 tree ring study and used it to define this time frame........because that study, showed the data they needed to rewrite climate history. Tree ring data is EXTREMELY unreliable to begin with. If you look at enough of them, you can find one that shows you anything that you want to show.
A trees rings can't tell you if bad growing conditions were from being too hot.....or too cold . Or from being too wet.......or too dry. Or from high/low CO2 or from high/low sunshine.
Hmmmmmm, I wonder what could have changed and why we only get one sided scary information that supposedly 97% of scientists agree on...........but I showed you the studies of that being a lie. Did all those scientists in the studies that I showed die??
Probably several did and thats exactly whats happening. As us older atmospheric scientists using authentic data retire and die. the ones trained after climate science was hijacked replace us.

I think an extraordinarily tiny amount of people actually realize what's going on and who's behind it.
There seems to be almost no way to stop it. Globally the vast majority of people are poor to very poor and would love to have global socialism and of course are for the Climate Accord because all those countries get money and don't have to cut emissions.
In the US, we have an increasing amount of people that can't put 2+2 together to get 4 on things that obviously can't work and make no sense in the real world like the Green New Deal and that believe in a climate crisis during a climate optimum because they were told to believe in a bunch of things that are greatly exaggerated or not happening at all and believe that busted climate models that can predict climate disaster for the next 100 years because they are told to believe in it.
Some are people smarter than me with Phd's and highly educated, so it's not just hoodwinking a bunch of naive yo-yo's.
I think that intelligence is not the defining factor in falling for this scheme. There are a number of issues contributing but maybe the greatest is the lack of objectivety and motivation to use the "scientific method" which is to use critical thinking in seriously questioning what you are being taught by taking some time to do objective research, using empirical data to test facts and theories/statements/ideas that you are being asked to believe in based on trusting the source because you are told they are the experts.
This is where the total bs 97% of climate scientists believe in the dangerous warming , so you must also believe it to, comes from.
The targets of this narrative, assume this "gee, I don't know diddly about climate science but if the uber authorities all agree so much, who am I, Joe knownothing to question their resounding, educated, expert opinion.
So they don't do a bunch of homework to check facts or science in a critical way

UNITED NATIONS (AP) _ A senior U.N. environmental official says entire nations could be wiped off the face of the Earth by rising sea levels if the global warming trend is not reversed by the year 2000.
"Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of ″eco- refugees,′ ′ threatening political chaos, said Noel Brown, director of the New York office of the U.N. Environment Program, or UNEP.
He said governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect before it goes beyond human control.
As the warming melts polar icecaps, ocean levels will rise by up to three feet, enough to cover the Maldives and other flat island nations, Brown told The Associated Press in an interview on Wednesday.
Coastal regions will be inundated; one-sixth of Bangladesh could be flooded, displacing a fourth of its 90 million people. A fifth of Egypt’s arable land in the Nile Delta would be flooded, cutting off its food supply, according to a joint UNEP and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency study."
metmike: Disaster didn't come in 2000. Then it didn't come in 2015 as predicted by Al Gore and the IPCC in 2007 and here in 2019, we are told that it will be here in 2030 for the same reasons that it was supposed to come 19 years ago and 4 years ago.
But we can save the planet by doing exactly what they tell us must be done...........even though we saved the planet over the last 30 years..............by doing the complete opposite of what they said had to be done. We burned even more more fossil fuels and massively increased CO2.
The real green new deal is the one which is causing the planet to massively green up from the increase in CO2.
The only green in the political Green New Deal is the green of your money changing hands............from out your pockets into the control of government.
When you are having a climate optimum like this one, disaster..................NEVER comes......unless you do what they say.
President Biden says that the first thing that he will do as president is sign the US back up in the Climate Accord.
But the Climate Accord was never about the climate...........this has been the world's greatest ruse, hijacking climate science for the political agenda. The China story is now far enough into the agreement to prove the fraudulence.

I see Russia is a member of the Paris accord, so it would seem they may or may not want the USA as a member. Russia signed the accord but as the 4th largest polluter, [if you believe the false science] they said they would have to watch how this agreement affected their economy. But by signing, they at least could participate and watch developments

If Biden gets elected, then one would think the USA would pay a lot more than russia but the USA has the reserve dollar, and a much larger GDP, so who gains or loses?? russia vs USA is unknown at this time
Would russia not be more inclined to want to cause social division in the USA, For example: might russia be encouraging Antifa or the violent riots, looting, burning etc which would weaken the USA

I did not listen to the entire video so maybe my questions would be answered if I did, but I doubt the KGB is worried about china and other enemies including our own enemies within

This video was made in 1984, describing a very effective brainwashing technique that worked then and still works today.
The one that the United Nations has been using for over 3 decades to convince the world that this current climate optimum(by all authentic scientific measures) is actually a climate crisis.........defined by those who are grossly distorting the science/facts to twist them for their agenda.
They are teaching it to children who learn from an early age to accept the climate crisis as a reality up there with gravity.
They have complete control of the main communication sources.

They are convincing everybody that 97% of climate scientists agree there is a climate crisis........fake news! 97% agree that humans have caused warming, including me but only a small % of them think its a crisis. Many of us see the great benefits.

They have censored and smeared thousands of scientists like me who question the fake climate religion. We are supposed to be self centered climate deniers, who only care about money and capitalism at the expense of the environment or science....... trying to sabotage their altruistic efforts to save the planet.
It's actually the other way around.
I'm a practicing environmentalist that puts an extremely high value on authentic science and truth in my field of expertise.......atmospheric science.
