When Trrump signed the bill from congress, supporting Homg Kong protestors Bejing was furious

Now the Trump administration is considering sanctioning certain chinese officials

An americian diplomat was arrested in china [can't think of his official capacity]

So things arre heating up between china and the USA

Do you think china would be inclined to sign a trade deal with the uSA, considering all that has happened

I have to think that any hope Trump had of any kind of agreement has passed into never, never land

Why would china sign when the USA has, what china might consider a slap in the face re; interference in china domestic affairs

What would the USA think if the roles were reversed

Russia interference in the 2016 election caused considereble consternation by the USA

This may not rise to the same level but who knows what chia is thinking

I think a deal is definitely not going to happen considering USA actions re: Hong Kong

Now or ever.

China will not forget

I think we might as well accept reality and batten down the hatches for a recession
