I been doing some thinking and I don't know where to go but right here on the forum

We have talked about the virus and also the common flue

The numbers tell us the flue is much more dangerous than the virus will be, at least with the knowledge we have as of today about the virus

Now it looks as if the virus doesn't care about temp. according to north or southern Hemisphere as infections have been reported in Africa, and SA. Now the southern Hemisphere doesn't have very many recorded infections but that could be because of a lack of medical testing kits, or maybe some other reason

Who tells us it isn't a matter if your country records an infection but when and how bad is the rate of infection and death

Golly gee wiss. Just today I read where a dog tested positive for the virus. Now is that true??? and if so, what new ramifications does that mean??

Still, what I have detailed is common knowledge. It looks, to me, as if we should take this virus seriously. 

However, according to all known information we are told the flue will kill more people in one yr. than the virus, is expected to kill, according to known information and given enough time there will be a vacine. In other words lets put this virus in perspective with known information

So why am I posting what you all know

What I don't know is how many folks in the USA take a flue vaccine shot

Does it cost you to have the shot??.

Do any number of people not take the vaccine because of cost, inconvenience or a feeling of being invincible

What % of people die because they did not have a flue vaccine. What % die that did take a flue vaccine shot

What I am saying, is it a possibility that the flue kills so many people simply because so many folks don't take a simple precation of the vaccine flue shot

If so, then does this answer the question of why the common flue is so deadly

I don't know what you people generally do every fall re: a flue vacine shot

Does a high % of your population take the flue vaccine shot

What about a pneumonia vaccine

I was told today there is a pneumonia vaccine

If people don't take proper precautions then the question becomes,

Do many people die from the common flue if many people don't bother with a vaccine shot

Is it possible, given there is no vaccine as of today, the virus as deadly or almost as deadly as the common flue

As of today, is it possible that the number of deaths from the virus just hasn't had enough time to show us how deadly it can or could be

Can some body help me

Not trying to do the old gotcha question

just looking for information on some thing that we don't have all the information but somebody should be able to help me with your custom re: the vaccine shot for the common flue and % of people that do take precautions and % deaths of people that did take a vaccine flue shot

The number of  people who die from the common flue is shocking, but as Mike told us, it is a known danger., thus we get used to the number of deaths
