Oil Price Wars

As you know the price of oil, corn and ethanol is very important to me

We have all old crop sold but new crop is less than what we usually have sold. Mainly becausee the price is lower

But if the oil price war continues then corn price looks at bit grim. So I wondered, if we can store for 12 months plus, from today, on new crop. How long can the oil producing countries continue to wage a price war.

We know the americian shale industry has been decimated and other working oil rigs are less and less. Then I looked at Saudi Arabia. They have a very low oil head cost, but their social gov't requires an estimated 70-80/barrel to keep all of the royal family happy.

So that leaves us with Russia and how long can they live with low oil prices. I thought they would be in the strongest position due to being used to hardship for generations. But a quick look and I found out an estimated 78 % of all Russians live in cities. That means austerity in their private life is some what restricted as they can't grow food in the back yard, they need to travel to work, and I would think most use electricity and other Russian comforts. Which means some demand on the Russian gov't to provide services for the population

So: Will the oil price war get sorted out in 12 months or not??? A lot of people, not just farmers depend on higher oil prices. Heck we haven't driven far enough to make it worth while to buy any of this cheap gas.

Tractor and truck fuel is cheaper
