metmike: We have doubled the number of tests, now about 300,000/day, vs 1 month ago. This is resulting in many more new "non severe case" positives that went UNtested previously..........but appear as new case numbers. This is keeping the rate of decline in REAL infections in the REAL world to be(unintentionally) masked. Nothing nefarious or unintended or intended about it. Just part of the science that MUST be considered as we make smart/rational decisions to reopen slowly.
