best comment so far and I believe it was from one of the nominators. Paraphrase but pretty close....Trump has done more for world peace than many who have won the award........isn't that right Mr Obama?

You have to agree that Trump has made it clear he does not want new wars. His ME peace accord is monumental but of coarse the MSM won't report that accomplishment. Isreal and the arabs signing a peace accord which Trump administration helped

On the other hand he won't be a patsy  as some try to have us believe

Good relations with Russia is not a mistake or a puppet

We don't want nuclear war

Trump has sanctioned russsia much more than Obama/Biden ever did

Donald Trump nominated for Nobel Peace Prize — now has the same odds of winning as Bill Gates

https://www.marketwatch.com/story/donald-trump-nominated-for-nobel-peace-prize-now-has-the-same-odds-of-winning-as-bill-gates-11599660785

“Donald Trump’s shock inclusion has seen the odds of him winning the prize he has craved for so long fall significantly,” Betfair’s Sam Rosbottom said in a statement. “And now in a year where he is an 11/10 shot to win re-election, it’s impossible to rule him out entirely. “

Still, as far as world leaders go, New Zealand’s Jacinda Ardern, who has gained praise for her response to the coronavirus outbreak, is far and away the favorite at 5-to-1, trailing only the World Health Organization and Greta Thunberg as the odds-on winners.

Here’s the full breakdown:

  •
  •        World Health Organisation: 5/2
  •
  •         Greta Thunberg: 3/1
  •
  •        Jacinda Ardern: 5/1
  •
  •        UNHCR: 12/1
  •
  •        Black Lives Matter: 16/1
  •
  •        Moon Jae-In: 18/1
  •
  •        Donald Trump: 20/1
  •
  •        Bill Gates: 20/1
  •
  •        Julian Assange: 33/1
  •
  •        Vladimir Putin: 33/1
  •
  •        Emmanuel Macron: 35/1
  •
  •        Boris Johnson: 50/1
  •
  •        Joe Biden: 50/1
  •
  •        Michelle Obama: 55/1
  •
  •        Kim Jong-un: 60/1
  •

As you can see, there are some interesting choices. The Norwegian Nobel Committee receives hundreds of nominations each year, many of them serious eyebrow-raisers, from lawmakers, governments officials and academic types.

All Nobel Peace Prizes

https://www.nobelprize.org/prizes/lists/all-nobel-peace-prizes/

The Nobel Peace Prize has been awarded 100 times to 134 Nobel Laureates between 1901 and 2019, 107 individuals and 27 organizations. Since the International Committee of the Red Cross has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize three times (in 1917, 1944 and 1963), and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize two times (in 1954 and 1981), there are 24 individual organizations which have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

In recent years, the Nobel Peace Prize has been a purely political award that went to very undeserving winners that did not earn it but represented the politics of the United Nations(socialism, globalism and one world order led by the the UN).

In 2009, Obama got the award shortly after taking over as president and had not accomplished anything. I believe, this was sort of a bribe to encourage him to act as a powerful advocate for the UN's agenda for 8 years.....and he didn't disappoint the UN.

In 2007, Gore and the IPCC got it for accelerating propaganda and one sided information used to scare people into following the UN's agenda(under the ruse of saving the planet) because of a fake climate crisis. Gore's movie "An inconvenient Truth" was the complete opposite of the truth and he got and Emmy for that anti science movie..........should have been classified as SCIENCE FICTION.

The Nobel Peace Prize 2009

Barack H. Obama “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples”

The Nobel Peace Prize 2007

Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)and Albert Arnold (Al) Gore Jr.“for their efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change, and to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract such change”
