Compelling story of a black man who has made it a mission to befriend KKK members.
To change hearts and minds.
Wonderful story. I wonder what would happen if a white conservative tried to make friends with ANTIFA and/or BLM activists. I bet it would not end so well, Huh?
I knew I could count on you to help make the world a better place.
What a super duper story!
We should all have this attitude.
Respect others.............especially those that we disagree with!
The hardest to do with people that actually hate us or our beliefs.
I love it joj!
I do something just about everyday to make the world a better place. How about you?
Thanks MM.

Turn the heat down in your house to conserve energy and save money!
https://www.energy.gov/energysaver/thermostats
You can save as much as 10% a year on heating and cooling by simply turning your thermostat back 7°-10°F for 8 hours a day from its normal setting. The percentage of savings from setback is greater for buildings in milder climates than for those in more severe climates.
You can easily save energy in the winter by setting the thermostat to 68°F while you're awake and setting it lower while you're asleep or away from home
metmike: We keep the heat on 64 degrees when my wife is home. When she is gone, I turn it off, unless the temp drops below 50 inside. I damaged her tropical plants one time by letting it get into the 40's for too long. When she gets home, 64 deg. F seems balmy!
Just dress warm and you get used to it(OK, for many people that's too cold).
Seriously though, for many thousands of years, until less than a century ago, those conditions would be glorious to the humans of those ages.....and for most people around the planet, even today.
We are spoiled rotten today to assume that we need to have the "perfect" temperature inside to be comfortable.
The rewards of volunteering are often greater than those of monetary donations.
Let’s merge like a zipper – taking turns and letting people in. And if someone lets you in after you’ve been waiting for ages? Courtesy wave.
share AUTHENTIC knowledge vs passing along rumors, conspiracy theories or fake narratives for political agenda!
I’m not suggesting you peel hamburger wrappers off the street, but if you see an empty plastic bag blowing around or a cleanish plastic bottle – pick it up and deal with it accordingly. Nearly 6.5 million tons (!) of litter and garbage end up in the ocean each year.
Always tell the truth about the world, especially when it contradicts what you THOUGHT that you knew or when it contradicts mainstream views or when its unpopular or causes criticism of you.

Be happy................don't let anybody change that.
And spread it around. People will like you more and enjoy being around a positive person.
