Being grown up doesn’t equate to being intelligent. It takes a higher level of reasoning to ascertain the difference between equal and fair.

Lyndon Johnson said it well.

As far as angry is concerned, look at the satirical news sites like Colbert  and Fox and Friends.

Which would you say is the angry one ?

Lyndon Johnson sumed up the liberal idoeolgy quite well with his Great Society quote.

"We'll have these ni%%ers voting democrat for 200 years"..     And he's been damn near right so far. The biggest fear the left has it that blacks are starting to realize the awful truth in that which is why they feel the need to perpetuate the division. 

Equal opportunty is certaily elusive,  but the only example of insitutional systemic racism in this country is affirmative action.

Starting an intentionally inflammatory thread with nothing but an attack on people that you disagree with, calling them names (like a child does) including calling them angry.

A post like this is exactly the kind of post that angry people make because they hate people they disagree with.

Tim does not need my defense for any reason. However, why so quick to jump him I wonder? Tim is one of the very best long time posters here. Why can we just not trust him. He knows what he is doing and has reasons. Chances are they will become clear or already are to some. He has long ago earned our trust and deserves that much. If you are not a long time poster go back thru most any of Tim's posts and he is always polite, informative and accurate.

Sure, I trust everybody here's word mcfarm based on what they say.

But you are apparently one of the disciples of the political religion that he quoted a few passages of doctrine from and I'm not a member of that blind faith because my mind is free to interpret the reality............based on the objective  reality. 

I appear to be the only one learning things here.............about people.

The most important freedom that we have is the freedom to think clearly in order to see  the objective truths using authentic facts.  When our intelligence is stolen from us by propaganda, we lose that freedom because our brains are being  captured by people that want to control us for their political agenda.

It's always easy to see when the other side is doing this but our natural human cognitive bias leaves us totally blind when our side(your side) targets us.

For instance who do you think that Trump was targeting with his big lie about the election steal?

It wasn't democrats.............they have always known the objective truth about the election.

You don't have to change your core belief system one iota but please just stop interpreting everything with  the one sided, hateful uncomprimising, intolerant view that Tim used.
