Why are we talking so often about Israel?  Because in our Western World, Israel has been on the forefront of suffering from the Delta.

They were hit harder and earlier by the Delta, than we here in the US.  And they were the first ones to report that the vaxx efficacy has dropped to an appalling 39% against the Delta

Now they have a huge spike happening again this August.

In the link below it says “ As of 15 August, 514 Israelis were hospitalized with severe or critical COVID-19, a 31% increase from just 4 days earlier. Of the 514, 59% were fully vaccinated. Of the vaccinated, 87% were 60 or older. “There are so many breakthrough infections that they dominate and most of the hospitalized patients are actually vaccinated,”

Well, they certainly are not talking about “Pandemic of the unvaccinated” over there.

The reason there is such a high percentage of vaccinated people in ICU in Israel is because the country has such a high vaccination rate.  If 100% had been vaccinated then 100% of cases/hospitalizations/deaths would be vaccinated people.

Statistics don’t lie but liars figure.

The data is overwhelming.  Vaccines are working.

Gunter - Why are you so obsessed with this?

Gunter,

Other people are asking the same question via the contact moderator button, so it's a fair question.

With regards to your link, you don't even realize it because of your obsession.........but it's totally contradicts your anti COVID vaccine position. They are pushing, like me for the booster shot(I'm getting mine ASAP)  and to get MORE people vaccinated not LESS as your posts are trying to convince people of.

Read your own links words:

"Still, studies suggest boosters might have broader value. Researchers have shown that boosting induces a prompt surge in antibodies, which are needed in the nose and throat as a crucial first line of defense against infection. The Israeli government’s decision to start boosting those 50 and older was driven by preliminary Ministry of Health data indicating people over age 60 who have received a third dose were half as likely as their twice-vaccinated peers to be hospitalized in recent days, Mevorach says. CHS also reported that out of a sample of more than 4500 patients who received boosters, 88% said any side effects from the third shot were no worse, and sometimes milder, than from the second."

"He says it’s also critical to vaccinate those who still haven’t received their first or second doses, and to return to the masking and social distancing Israel thought it had left behind—but has begun to reinstate."

metmike: I agree 100% with this. How about you Gunter?

Yes, I know this link recommended booster shots

However, I took their own factual data and pointed them out to you. The point that this same link recommends booster shots, does not change the facts they gave us.  And these faxts have not been "debunked"

I am only wondering…

With an efficacy of 39% in this era of the Delta, the vaccine is hardly working anymore…. and vaccinated patients are now “dominating” hospital admissions… pushing booster shots of something that isn’t working well anymore, sounds a bit strange. (especially if one considers vaxx side effects and unknown long-term problems, which aren’t even mentioned here) .So why are they still recommending the vaxx., knowing that the statistics have changed since the Delta arrived?

Probably the same thing as here in the  US.  Israel has their version of our CDC, and they control the narrative and procedure

One thing nice about Israel though… they don’t have a president who tells the media to hide negative vaxx news.
