Since 1953, Atlantic tropical storms had been named from lists originated by the National Hurricane Center. They are now maintained and updated through a strict procedure by an international committee of the World Meteorological Organization.
The latest 2 tropical storms are NO threat.

Look out for that yellow x on the far right (Invest 98L/Future Sam) for a potential major hurricane in the MDR though that would be very late climatologically for it to later hit the CONUS.

Looks like Sam has about peaked at 145 mph but will still be this powerful for a couple of days.......no threats to the US.....watch out Bermuda!
