I get the strong impression that this is just a ploy by Green Peace and other greens to vilify anybody that disagrees with the most extreme measures. A pre emptive strike to obliterate the opposition before their objections can be discussed.
Create an image of them as followers……..these descriptions below, were not made up by me. They are the actual ones that I got from reading articles today about this topic.
Effectively labeling them with these character traits before they emerge or there is a discussion about their concerns is just another version of “The science is settled” and “The debate is over” and anybody that disagrees is evil and must be scorned and silenced.
Here are a few examples of the articles:
Does anybody think the general population pays any attention to these people. We have a couple labor people working in our yard today. Do you think they even know about this summit or if so care what happens. My bet is they are more concerned if their pay check covers essentials and a bit left over
I have an idea most people, if concerned about any thing, would be shortages and inflation
Our gas prices at the pump have started to increase
Certain food items are in short supply or not available
In the U.K. they have a policy that makes no sense what so ever. Electric house bills are capped [shades of price controls]
So what happens?? Since the price of energy to produce electricity is so high electric generation plants are not profitable. Some have shut down. Some are going BK. Why some would go BK instead of shutting down baffles me but any way, it happens
Now anybody with a medium sense of reality knows the electricity will diverted to home heating and leave manufacturing stranded. Is that any kind of sane policy??
In NA you can bet inflation will continue while the Dems argue about the size of the next stimmy bill or bills as I am told there are two on deck
What happens if the Dems manage to get any thing done in 2022, in time for the elections. Your guess is as good as my guess
Down on our farm I am not selling any more corn until my input cost is known
We locked in part of our fertilizer needs. Just to be sure delivery would actually happen we asked for delivery. Golly the fertilizer is actually coming. 1 load a day for 4 days and we will be full. We tried to order two more tanks but could not get delivery in time for the price of product we had pre-priced. However, we have got the bulk of our needs except for chemicals.
We need a bigger tractor. The price is good until end of yr and then that very same tractor goes up in price. Talk about inflation. Used to be we would discuss our needs starting in January, make some calls and get prices and the usual sales pitch. Well: Not today. Buy now before the price goes up
I see the USD is going down, is it any wonder if the Fed continues to monetize the debt. I have cash in the bank to pay for 2022 inputs. My corn sales are for 2023 inputs. I don't need an operating loan but cash in the bank cost me 5 % in lost purchasing power, by my estimate
What do you think the price of WTI will be or maybe: what will your price of heating or cooling your home will be in the coming yr
Is 10 % real inflation a good bet. That is what I am using in my calculating efforts. Which means how much do I have to save for my next vechicle purchase assuming I can buy some thing. We have two vechicles and I have ear marked 20,000/yr savings. Is that enough
Just my thoughts re: this summit
I think the people have more pressing issues than driving Tesla back and forth, using generators to charge those Tesla and then boarding their private jets to go home. Isn't Kerry one of those with a private jet. Is he tone deaf to what you and I think about his summit
Thanks Wayne!
The ones making all the decisions with regards to energy and investment money are sure paying attention.
The fossil fuel industry sees the writing on the wall. Almost ALL the money, trillions is going into alternative (fake green) energy.
The controlling forces are trying to obliterate fossil fuels not give them funding or subsidies or encourage new production.
And so we have the big energy crunch and much higher prices.
Obama predicted this over a decade ago. The liberals wanted it to sound like a false narrative coming from republicans but this was destined to happen under that current scenario that is killing fossil fuels.
Near 100% chance that it would happen based on the laws and realities of physics, economics and energy.

Here’s one line that President Barack Obama might want to rewind: “Under my plan … electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”
That quip from a January 2008 interview with the San Francisco Chronicle editorial board is making the rounds in conservative circles — even Mitt Romney referred to it last month – and it likely won’t go away anytime soon.
“If somebody wants to build a coal-fired power plant, they can. It’s just that it will bankrupt them,” Obama said, responding to a question about his cap-and-trade plan. He later added, “Under my plan … electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket.”
Of course, cap and trade is long dead. But coal-fired power plants are powering down nationwide, and they are blaming the Obama Environmental Protection Agency. The president’s critics say proposed greenhouse gas regulations for future power plants are designed to cripple the coal industry. "
Obama and the left's obliteration of fossil fuels has been the plan all along.
It took a pause during the Trump years but is in high gear again under Biden, who on day 1, signed us up for the fraudulent climate accord and signed legislation that would crush the fossil fuel industry.
Now we get to see the impacts which were always inevitable under that plan.
Obama knew it with absolute certainty when he stated this with the truth of the plan in 2008.
Then, realizing shortly after stating this, that it was a dumb thing for a politician to tell the truth about his/the plan to consumers who would all be strongly be against higher energy prices.......... he back tracked and many of the MSM sites made excuses for his truth.
But make no mistake, it HAD to happen this way under the plan of killing fossil fuels. We HAD to learn the hard way. We HAVE to have higher prices. It's unavoidable.

Where did the energy go

I had to chuckle at the Google so called climate experts attempt to add context with this video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUV8U3yBJ6U
"Wikipedia
Climate change includes both human-induced global warming and its large-scale impacts on weather patterns. There have been previous periods of climate change, but the current changes are more rapid than any known events in Earth's history. "
We have no proof that when the previous BENEFICIAL warmings happened 1,000, 2,000, 3,500 and between 9,000-5,000 years ago(which was much warmer than this in the high latitudes).. that they didn't happen just as fast.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holocene_climatic_optimum
"Of 140 sites across the western Arctic, there is clear evidence for conditions that were warmer than now at 120 sites. At 16 sites for which quantitative estimates have been obtained, local temperatures were on average 1.6±0.8 °C higher during the optimum than now."
Tony Heller makes some great points with 100% accurate data and infor but is also a bit misleading on his main theme.
So YouTube responds with even more misleading information.
I wonder what these people would think if they realized that we are actually having a climate optimum and they have had their intelligence stolen with propaganda and are being used as a political tool.
Would they be as angry with the sources that targeted them for their political agenda?
Probably not because most of them are on board with that agenda anyways.
However, I still feel bad for them because many of them are suffering from clinical cases of "Eco-anxiety" which is causing a tremendous amount of totally unecceary emotional stress and even mental illness to millions of young people on the planet that really believe the fake climate crisis is destroying the planet and because of that, when they get older, the planet will be destroyed.
Yes, million of them really believe this. Seriously, imagine for a moment if you truly believed that the planet would be destroyed in 20 or even 10 years like many of them strongly believe unless we acted NOW!
That would be pretty traumatic for anybody.....but its science fiction. It's admirable that these kids want to save the planet and are willing to go to extreme measures to help the cause..........it's pathetic that they are being used, when they could be doing 1,000 other things that are actually productive to help make the world a better place.
Finally a real expert telling us the truth about Covid19: Greta on CNN. Scaring and converting children into the climate crisis cult. Eco-anxiety in children. Greta controlled as the United Nation's climate activist puppet. Failed predictions of the UN and past climate crisis religion high priests, like Al Gore. Showing the truth with actual data/observations vs telling people to listen to the fake science. May 2020. https://www.marketforum.com/forum/topic/52100/

The United Nations has been lying to us about the fake climate crisis alarm since 1989:
United Nations, June 2021: " Science tells us these next 10 years are our final chance to avert a climate catastrophe"
https://www.marketforum.com/forum/topic/70534/
United Nations June 29, 1989: "He said governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect before it goes beyond human control."

metmike: Wrong for 31 years and still wrong today. But we continue to carry their pessimistic, junk science message that is dragging down young people and stealing everybody's intelligence (that believes it) with propaganda about a fake climate crisis involving the building block of life on this greening planet............CO2.

And the biggest impact from the increase in beneficial CO2 a slight, mostly beneficial warming has been this:
Fake beer crisis/Death by GREENING!
