Biden's plan for the future

Biden is unhappy with how the polls are depicting the job he's doing.   Can't say I blame him.  They range from terrible to dismal.  So, he's announed his 3 prong attack to improve things.

1.)  He's going to get out more, talk to the voters more. I think we all know how that will turn out.  He's pretty bad with a scripted teleprompted speech.  If he starts to ad-lib?

2.)  He's going to campaign really hard for dem candidates, raise a lot of money.   This, as some dems are already starting to distance themselves from him.

3.) He's going to talk to more experts,  Academics, think tanks,  journalists.  I'm certain the further left they lean, the more he'll want to talk.

As far as the border, inflation, price of oil, covid, foreign policy, crime, rtc, etc?   Not on the radar so, steady as they go.

Personally, I think this is the very best path he can follow for the benefit and future of this country. I encourage him to "stick to his guns!!"

Thanks Joe!!  :-)

if the dems want to have a really good chance of winning the next prez election, they should rally around joe manchin.  anyone further left than that will probably loose it for them.

but we know the problem... in the party (on both sides), it seems that the candidates often win their party slot by appealing to people further to the extreme.

we have pub candidates here in AZ that are running for offices by calling themselves pro-trump.  i think this will hurt them rather than help them.

whether it is for congress, or mayor, or governor, i think a pub has a better chance of winning if they don't mention trump.  i think some of these candidates are shooting themselves in the foot by invoking trump.  that will make the dems very happy.

just my opinion.

I think in some areas,  linking to Trump will work,  but in the long term, it's a losing proposition.  Trump's stock is dropping everyday, and in much of the country,   he's poison.

Youngkin took purple/blue Virginia by embracing Trump policy while distancing from Trump himself.   I think any pub who wants to win an election should take a page out of his book.

But I agree, the majority pf the country will not support anyone left of Manchin. I disagree with some of his pollitics,  but he's a dem that does not incite my cringe factor. I could even see myself voting for him.   Not likely,  but possible.

I agree strongly  with you bear!

The investigation uncovering Trumps plot to overthrow the 2020 presidential election is about to totally obliterate him and possibly bring criminal charges.

If the republicans were smart about this..........they would let it play out and allow the democrats to do them the biggest favor ever..........get rid of Trump forever.

But instead, half the republicans still cling to Trump and so they take his side, defend him on this and when they take Trump down, they damage all those republicans on Trumps side about at the same time who are all bent out of shape thinking that poor Donald Trum is being picked on again.

Seriously, let the investigation uncover what Trump actually did after losing the election. Sure its political but facts are facts. This isn't the fake  investigation into non existent colluding with Russia with the SECRETIVE Mueller witchunt.

This investigation has REAL facts that we can all see in real time as they are uncovered.

Let them take out Trump for you........cooperate and focus on points like what Tim just made.......the MANY weak points of Biden.

Then the republicans can unite behind 1 person instead of fighting each other because of Trump.

Wasting way too much energy fighting democrats about Trump is a battle that was already lost.....and has nothing but escalating losses for republicans if they  try to fight it.

just for kicks MM. Why is this investigation going to "obliterate" Trump when the last investigation that exposed the plot to over throw the last election then take it back after Trump got elected done nothing more than elevate most of those dems who were involved save for a couple who got a hand slap? Most every one of them in on the steal is getting fully paid with benefits  and laughing all the way to the bank. Oh yes just wait for the Durham report. What a sad state of affairs.

No matter how many times that I keep stating it.........you just keep saying the same absolutely wrong things about this mcfarm.

I even stated it with crystal clarity in this very thread and it was totally ignored...........again.

This investigation is NOT like the Mueller investigation in any way, shape or form. People convincing you of that are flat out lying to you.

I know its a waste of time to repeat it for the umpteenth time to you but here we go again.......but here goes.

#1 Trump did not collude with Russia and and did not commit any crimes related to the 2016 election. He did nothing wrong but they tried to frame him.

#2 In 2020, Trump committed crimes and  tried to overturn the legit 2020 election, acting diabolically against the Constitution and to trash the most sacred element of our democracy..........the election process and still has over half the republican party bamboozled into thinking the election was stolen from him and that the democrats committed widespread fraud in 2020.

Denying #2 and pretending its the same as #1 is totally delusional but when you leave here and go to Fox or some other far right source that lies to you about it......that's what you'll get.

Regardless, we get to see this investigation every step of the way. We get to see who's being interviewed and much of what they are uncovering. What was texted.  What was stated. Documents and evidence out in the open.

With Mueller........it was a bunch of corrupt,  unsupervised bureaucrats creating their own rules and setting up people to create crimes that didn't exist before the investigation........ALL IN SECRET.

That is NOT what is happening with this investigation.

Do you not see this?

All you see is that they were/are both out to get Trump and since you're a republican, they are the same thing.

mcfarm,

I can't believe that Trump did what he did as a president of the United States

Disgracing the office by an extremely wide margin that is 100+ times worse than Watergate and I'm not exaggerating.

But the most incredulous thing about it is that over  half the republicans actually fell for it..........and most of them, now are convinced that democrats are widespread cheaters in elections.

Why did he do it?

Look at how many people actually believed him!!

That's exactly why he did it.

and you can keep telling us what a unbiased factually oriented committee this is......and exactly what was their first order of business? You don't know do you, MM. Refused to set Jim Jordon and Jim Banks. No tell me about this fair, non biased, open and accurate committee again. Tell us a about witnesses being kept waiting for days  and missing their part of hearings. These hearings actually are not much different than Mueller when you pull back the shades. And that is with Trump actually helping them with free ammunition.

Stop mischaracterizing me mcfarm, so that you can attack the position that I don't have.

I never said they were unbiased. For many of them it is political.

But facts are facts.

I don't care who presents them or what their motivation is.........facts are facts and I want to know the facts.

Americans have a right to know the facts.........and we're getting alot more of them right now from this investigation.

You don't like them, so you sqauwk about it.

"These hearings actually are not much different than Mueller when you pull back the shades"

mcfarm,

You can keep repeating really false  things....right after I just proved to you what the profound difference is between Mueller and this investigation with links to 50 threads and 500 posts above and all I can do at this point  is assume that you are just a   low comprehension and completely closed minded guy.

It just shows the disconnect that your party and sources are programming your brain with.
