Tucker, once again tells his viewers that the Jan 6th committee has nothing to do with Jan 6(even as the committee shows us 100s of independent pieces of information that proves that it is in fact about Jan 6th).......gee, that's exactly the bs that you keep telling us in every post about this topic,  mcfarm.

The police did nothing illegal. The guest knows it but he's ticked off that he had to give up his phone and is trying to make it look like they broke the law, with Tucker helping him.  He claims his 4th amendment rights were violated and you believed it because it was on Fox.

The video actually proves they provided him with a legal warrant legally justifying taking his cell phone. Because they provided the warrant a couple of seconds after taking the phone, they broke the law?  Give me a break. The video actually is evidence......against him (but Fox viewers are easy to fool because they believe EVERYTHING Tucker tells them to believe. Not some of it but EVERYTHING and this is more evidence of that).

And because he had other records on his phone, they  supposedly broke the law?

Fox viewers would never think to question anything Tucker broadcasts but here.....let me help with that.

Your Cell Phone and the Fourth Amendment

The Supreme Court ruled that the government needs a warrant, based on probable cause, to search a cell phone. Id at 401. The Court stated that cell phones are filled with massive amounts of personal and private data that distinguish them from traditional items that can be seized during a traffic encounter, like a wallet. Id at 393. Therefore, in order for the government to search one’s cell phone, it is a fairly simple rule, the government needs to get a warrant issued on probable cause to search that phone, even when the phone is acquired due to a lawful arrest. It is important to note that the Court stopped short of saying this is always required. The Court concluded their opinion stating that some warrantless searches of phones could be permitted if certain exigent circumstances give rise to that warrantless search. Id at 407. However, for the law-abiding American citizen, you can be assured that your phone does receive some Fourth Amendment protections and the government will need a search warrant to search your device.

I my opinion you are going to be real surprised when this gets to court. Provided of course it does not get appealed to some black hole like the 9th circuit that is. Where you can go and watch a 2 tiered justice system in action most every day.

I won't be surprised one bit because, as I told tim, I have no expectations. If they have one Trump captured brain(60-70% of republicans) the evidence won't matter.
