I've always been for increasing legal immigration. However, this administrations messing it up so badly has me thinking we need to get control of this crisis first.

Don't blame them. They just want a better life and the US has it. They don't care about rules/laws. They want in because they're desperate and don't have much to lose but have an enormous amount to possibly gain.
There's 1,000 times as many people as those invading in the world with lives that would be greatly improved if they came to the US.
Heck, 1 billion people don't even have enough clean water every day.
There's no doubt that they know what's going on right now in the US.

yes, the biden admin is messing this up big time. when he sends out the message... just walk in illegally, and we will let you stay... of course the number of people trying to come in illegally is going to surge.
i have friends who are immigrants who are not happy about the dems. these friends had to go thru a Lot of bureaucracy, and a long time to get approved to come here legally.
its like people cutting the line at the movie theater. some folks will get rather upset when they have been waiting in line, and others just want to butt in front of them.
