Our government is broken because its led by a bunch of charlatans that do things for self enriching schemes and political ideologies.

Manufacturing fake realities to bamboozle Americans to believe in them or their causes.

Some not being held accountible for ethics violations, others being prosecuted for much less egregious violations thanks to a justice/intelligence community that's above the law and biased. ........allowing them to impose whatever sliding scale  standard they want, depending on how the circumstances fit into THEIR PERSONAL objectives.
