Excellent article!

Something Is Seriously Wrong with Former President Trump

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/opinion/something-is-seriously-wrong-with-former-president-trump/ar-AA1aWz2c

With respect to verbal accountability, Trump is an anomaly. If Trump’s political career implodes, it will not be because of something he says. If that were going to happen it would have happened a long time ago.

‘I could end Ukraine war in 24 hours’, Donald Trump tells UK TV

Former US president said striking a deal to end the conflict in Ukraine ‘would be easy’

He's a delusional, narcissistic psychopath that's done more permanent damage to our country than any person in US history!

Elect that man as our president!

And the other choice?

The current president  who has worsening dementia, numerous instances of corruption, the worse energy and immigration policy in history and lies more than any other president..............with the exception of Trump.

And the only other candidate in the last couple of elections featuring these too very sad sacks?

Hillary Clinton!

Who lost because people hated her more than they hated Trump at the time.

That's what wins presidential elections in the US.

Not the person with favorable ratings. There hasn't been a person like that running for US president since 2012 since Mitt Romney ran against Barrack Obama.

Think about it.

The winner for the 3rd straight election if these 2 run again(I say they don't) will be NOT the other person.

If Biden won again, it's because most of his votes came from being NOT Donald Trump. Not from being qualified or capable. From people wanting to make sure the other guys loses.

If Trump wins, it could only be Biden running. Anybody voting for Trump has to either be in his cult or being so anti Biden that they would even vote for Trump.

People believe what they want to believe and what their sources tell them to believe.

I base positions on proven laws of science, authentic facts and objective evidence........debunking conspiracy theories, disinformation, false narrative and fake news.

I welcome and encourage others to point out things that I have wrong on anything and if you have the facts, I'll adjust my position to dial that in. I want to learn, as well as share.

Trump does lie more than any other politician in history. Constant, eye rolling ridiculous lies that get worse each year because of his worsening mental illness.

Make no mistake, people. Donald Trump is mentally ill in a medically identifiable, clinically significant way. He should be getting in patient treatment in a medical facility or at least aggressive outpatient psychiatric care.

Instead, he's leading the pack to run for president again in 2024 for the Rs.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grandiosity

In psychology, grandiosity is a nonnormative sense of superiority, uniqueness, or invulnerability. It may be expressed by exaggerated beliefs regarding one's abilities, the belief that few other people have anything in common with oneself, and that one can only be understood by a few, very special people.[1] The personality trait of grandiosity is principally associated with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD), but also is a feature in the occurrence and expression of antisocial personality disorder, and the manic and hypomanic episodes of bipolar disorder

Measurement

Few scales exist for the sole purpose of measuring grandiosity, though one recent attempt is the Narcissistic Grandiosity Scale (NGS), an adjective rating scale where one indicates the applicability of a word to oneself (e.g. superior, glorious).[3]

Grandiosity is also measured as part of other tests, including the Personality Assessment for DSM-5 (PID-5), Psychopathy Checklist-Revised, and diagnostic interviews for NPD. The Grandiosity section of the Diagnostic Interview for Narcissism (DIN), for instance, describes:[4]

  1. The person exaggerates talents, capacity, and achievements in an unrealistic way.
  2. The person believes in their invulnerability or does not recognize their limitations.
  3. The person has grandiose fantasies.
  4. The person believes that they do not need other people.
  5. The person overexamines and downgrades other people's projects, statements, or dreams in an unrealistic manner.
  6. The person regards themself as unique or special when compared to other people.
  7. The person regards themself as generally superior to other people.
  8. The person behaves self-centeredly and/or self-referentially.
  9. The person behaves in a boastful or pretentious way.

In narcissism

Grandiose narcissism is a subtype of narcissism with grandiosity as its central feature. Contrary to popular misconception even among psychologists, grandiose narcissism and "narcissistic grandiosity" are not interchangeable terms, with the latter referring to the subject of this article and the former referring to a type narcissism defined by grandiosity as well as social dominance, interpersonal exploitativeness, entitlement, disdainfulness, superficial charm, attention-seeking, and agentic extraversion.[3]

In mania

In mania, grandiosity is typically more pro-active and aggressive than in narcissism. The manic character may boast of future achievements[5]: 421  or exaggerate their personal qualities.[5]: 413 & notes

They may also begin unrealistically ambitious undertakings, before being cut down, or cutting themselves back down, to size

Donald Trump is the quintessential example of a person afflicted with this mental illness.

This very clever lady just used Trump's  mental illness, the biased courts and people's hatred of him to find in her favor.

I share her and others personal view of  the dispicable and worsening of Trump's pathological messages and lying but don't let it get in the way of authentic facts and evidence.

Thanks much Jean,

I appreciate your honestly!

That's exactly what I'm NOT doing.

You're interpreting it as that so that you don't have to face the realities of  who Donald Trump is. Almost every supporter of Donald Trump does this.

What I am doing is what I do in every single realm. Providing objective science, facts, observations and evidence, along with analysis to use to obtain honest/sincere discernment, shared generously, without an agenda.

MarketForum is an ANTI echo chamber in a divisive, extremely tribalistic world when it comes to politics. On non political topics, universally accepted truths can rule.

My point is not only to prove with facts/evidence what my mission here is and to hopefully reinforce wonderful messages but to help with others struggling with contradictions in their political ideologies, which you communicated about Donald Trump.

It's almost impossible to strongly support Donald Trump without also being in strong denial of who he really is.

I ignored this BEFORE his actions after the lost election because his policy benefits were greater than his damage.

After the lost 2020 presidential election, Trump's previous mental illness was ramped up several notches and it's taken over his entire persona. It completely defines him now.

So we have one candidate with clinically significant, advancing dementia and the other with the extremely serious mental illness that I accurately/medically described above.

Just those 2 serious and worsening mentally debilitating conditions make them extremely unqualified to be the president of our country.

I'm not dwelling on what I don't like about this. I'm doing what I do here. Whether I like it or not or whether you like it or not......... showing the truth.

When people agree 100% on the truth...........the truth only needs to be stated a small number of times and no proof is required.

When half the people refuse to acknowledge the truth(denial)..........I spend more time on the facts to prove it.

When these facts contradict with what a reader WANTS to believe, they will do one of several things in today's world.

The easiest one to understand is denial.

For a more elaborate psychological explanation.

Denial is #4 below:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_dissonance

Cognitive dissonance theory proposes that people seek psychological consistency between their expectations of life and the existential reality of the world. To function by that expectation of existential consistency, people continually reduce their cognitive dissonance in order to align their cognitions (perceptions of the world) with their actions.

The creation and establishment of psychological consistency allows the person affected with cognitive dissonance to lessen mental stress by actions that reduce the magnitude of the dissonance, realized either by changing with or by justifying against or by being indifferent to the existential contradiction that is inducing the mental stress.[3] In practice, people reduce the magnitude of their cognitive dissonance in four ways:

  1. Change the behavior or the cognition ("I'll eat no more of this doughnut.")
  2. Justify the behavior or the cognition, by changing the conflicting cognition ("I'm allowed to cheat my diet every once in a while.")
  3. Justify the behavior or the cognition by adding new behaviors or cognitions ("I'll spend thirty extra minutes at the gymnasium to work off the doughnut.")
  4. Ignore or deny information that conflicts with existing beliefs ("This doughnut is not a high-sugar food.")

ARE YOU SAYING THAT THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUTH IN EVERYTHING?  LOL

EXAMPLE: YOU BELIEVE YOUR WIFE/HUSBAND/SPOUSE IS BEATIFUL, INSIDE & OUT.

SOMEONE ELSE BELIEVES THAT SAME PERSON IS UGLIER THAN SIN & CLEAR TO THE BONE.

WHICH SCENARIO IS THE TRUTH? NO NEED TO STATE YOUR TRUTH MORE THAN A FEW TIMES, THO     LOL

thanks, Jean!

I get that people can see beauty in different things and appreciating it is relative and subjective.

However, none of the truths that we are talking about with regards to presidential candidates are “eyes of the beholder” truths.

They are defined by universal laws based on objective facts/observations.
Bidens mental decline comes from direct objective observations that fall into a clearly defined medical condition.

the Biden family raked in millions using Joe’s influence peddling. Twist and Repackage that to come up with an alternate truth but it contradicts the one and only authentic truth. This was fraud to enrich the Biden’s using clever money laundering schemes.

Same thing with Trump. I showed you the condition. If you want to disagree with that, then you are disagreeing with the medical  science and psychology.

trump lost in 2020. We use accurate, very reliable vote counts to know this as an indisputable universal truth. Just because people have alternate truths with completely debunked speculative theories that sound convincing don’t make them authentic. Just because people want to believe that Trump won doesn’t make this a viable, alternative truth or reality.

there is no authentic alternate universe where people can make up their own science and physical laws that are valid Because they want to believe in it.

people do it all the time, of course but it violates the TRUTH!

same with regards to climate science or vaccination science, photosynthesis, energy physics and economics.

somebody can make a case that wind turbines are beautiful man made things in an architectural Sense and I would have to agree.

however, it still does not negate the energy and economic  principles and environmental factors when comparing them with cheap, reliable fossil fuels that are greening up the planet and nature.

jean,

i Understand the point but you can’t substitute wanting to believe in something for what you are claiming is seeing the same thing that I do (defining my truth) but from a different angle and  having a different view because of it.

Jean,

i completely accept that we will always  disagree on Trump and don’t want it to hurt our friendship.

please do chime in when you disagree, as I’m not trying to silence you and if you want to make additional points, you can use as many posts as you want.

using facts, observations and evidence will always turn my head and change my mind but theres no rule about expressing opinions based on emotions, political ideologies or other things.

im here to learn too.

Most of all, I recognize that you’re an extremely respectful, thoughtful, honest/sincere, sharing/caring/sensitive human being …… my kind of person And I would be an idiot to alienate somebody like you because I got obsessed with making a point That we disagree on.

and I can get extremely carried away with making points.

I DON'T HAVE TIME, RIGHT NOW, SOO.... THIS'LL BE SHORT

YOU ARE CORRECT IN YOUR SUMMATION ON THESE STATEMENTS ~ I DO NOT AGREE WITH THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE MEDICAL FIELD, NOR PSYCHOLOGY & FOR GOOD PERSONAL REASONS. (EXCELLENT PERSONAL REASONS, IS MORE APPROPRIATE)

I'VE HAVEN'T HAD A "GO TO" DOCTOR, SINCE I WAS 14 YEARS OLD. I GO FIND ONE TO SET BROKEN BONES, REMOVE CANCER, SEW MY HAND BACK ON OR DURING A HEART ATTACK. THAT'S IT.... AND, DON'T GO BACK FOR EXTRA CHECKUPS. I KNOW WHEN I'M HEALED. LOL

I SHALL RETURN

Thanks, Jean.

I agree that there are extreme problems with our diagnosing, doctoring and treatment protocol for illness in the US.

I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, severe Osteoarthritis and a Lupus like autoimmune disease. I've had 24 surgeries and also 22 skin cancers.

I have a long list of supplements that I take, along with several meds that require a doctors prescription.

Each one of them I picked based on doing extensive research and alot of objective trial and error. Every prescription came from me telling the doctor what I wanted.

They had to order the tests and in the past do the surgeries but if I didn't take control of my medical situation 30 years ago, when I was getting close to death,  I wouldn't have lasted but a few more years.

My Mom had severe mental illness from losing both parents as a child which compromised her ability to be a good parent but Dad's love and unwavering devotion for decades finally healed her by the time we were adults  and I got to witness the miracle.

Sorry for the background but I just wanted to make it clear that my comments about Trump's condition are not based on articles from doctors diagnosing Trump that I'm deciding to believe.

They are based on 2 things.

1. My personal, objective observations of Donald Trump's behavior using thousands of times watching/listening to him, including years when I supported him.

2. My objective experiences studying all types of mental illness with an underlying desire to not just understand it but reach out to help people afflicted with it and considered outcasts in society because people understand that a broken leg disables the body but not that a broken mind disables the brain.  I spent numerous years as a volunteer helping men at the local Rescue Mission.

https://give.evansvillerescuemission.org/Donate/Donate.aspx?Code=GA&utm_source=AdWords&gclid=Cj0KCQjwpPKiBhDvARIsACn-gzAOvViZkkg7k3nYrHS_Xl6oJ5VPLISFsfcUJtnCk00OhoqNCjg8W5MaAv24EALw_wcB

So the point is, you are not disagreeing with the medical communities(or individual doctors) assessment of Donald Trump in this thread. It's me stating this.

I am only pointing out what is crystal clear about his condition to me based on being able to recognize it.

+++++++++++++

You should also note that I have come to Trump's defense numerous times........when he is being unfairly attacked, despite my opinion about his no longer being unqualified to be president of our country:

I actually changed my tune on the Trump indictment over paying hush money about an affair being mostly nonsense and extremely political after checking it out and finding the charges have no legal teeth.

                 Trump indictment

https://www.marketforum.com/forum/topic/94213/#94278

https://www.marketforum.com/forum/topic/94213/#94347

So I hear you on those things, Jean and also realize that when Trump is attacked like this with nonsense, the automatic reaction from his supporters is to dig in and became ever more tenacious supporters, disabling the fake checking mode in their brains on most of the lies, some extremely delusional, constantly spewing out of Trump's mouth.

To me, the astronomical amount of  lying and the type of lying IS THE EXACT PROBLEM. It's what defines his condition that I showed earlier for the reasons that I mentioned.

I could list the top 1,000 blatant lies from him if you want.

How about this.................. 1,000+ lies/month near the end of his first term.

Granted, the source for this is the biased left(and some of his lies, like on the climate crisis were the truth) but even if it were just 10% of what they claim, this is a pathological liar by every objective persons standard.

Politicians lie for a living but he was rapidly losing my support  towards the end of his term because of this.

Then, after he lost the election and tried to overturn it, he permanently poisoned tens of millions of brains against the election process and Constitution. Many of those people are my friends.  He's done more to hurt them and  damage our country than any person in history.....by an extremely wide margin.

The Biden's taking 10 million from foreign countries for self serving enrichment was REALLY bad but it did less than 1% of the damage that Trump caused with his position that the dems rigged the election which caused him to lose.

I'm just stating facts based on observations and their impacts in the REAL world to base my opinion on.

Related discussions about the 2 guys leading their party in the run for president 2024.

We aren't singling out Trump or personally targeting Trump, which is how every Trump supporter is conditioned to believe and why they automatically have this extreme, knee jerk very biased and defensive posture anytime Trump gets criticized.

We are discussing the 2 main candidates and specifically,  what makes them completely different than any other 2 in history.

BOTH ARE CLEARLY VERY UNQUALIFIED  TO BE PRESIDENT from 2025-2029. I still believe that neither will make it to the election but am getting more worried that Trump might because the Rs want him and the Ds are smart enough enough that they also want him.

With Biden, the Ds don't want him and the Rs don't want him but the current administration/Biden is running him now, mainly  to fake us out to believe that he's so qualified in 2023, that he can even do another 4 years after this one.
