There's no question that the environment in this age, that features widespread coverage of these events is leading to the rapid escalation of them.

If you exposed a mentally ill person to nothing but videos of nice people doing kind things all of the time, how often would they think of killing other human beings while watching those videos.

If the same deranged person watched nothing but coverage of  incidents of deranged people like them committing mass shootings...........what would be the difference in their mind set?

These are 2 extremes but to make a point.

In the real world, when  given the choice between watching the 2 kinds of videos above, guess which one the mentally ill/deranged person will watch?

Guess what the impact will be.

It's not even a guess. 

In today's world, mass shootings have greatly increased and there's an enormous positive feedback because of the technology covering it.

The solution?

We can't put the technology genie back in the bottle but the only way to manage this aspect of it would be to vastly change much of the messaging reaching the minds of these people with positive things to replace the increasing hate, disrespect, intolerance  and divisiveness which is increasing.

Since the bad, divisive messaging at echo chambers and media outlets and from politicians is more profitable........it's continues to go in the wrong direction.

However, that doesn't mean we are powerless and have to let the evil and deceit drag us into the cesspool!
