Eric's evening update 5-22-23
5-25 evening update-El Nino discussion:
Here in western Ohio the thing I am noticing is the unusually low humidity for this time of year. We had a few days in the low 80's earlier this week and I commented to my wife how comfortable it felt compared to "normal" Ohio weather where temps in the 80's would start to be uncomfortable.
The 10 day forecast looks similar; no rain and lower than normal humidity.
Great observation, buck.
there’s no gulf moisture coming up ahead of these cold fronts so they go thru dry also.
instead of a bermuda high pumping in moisture, we have a trough impeding it.
the pattern breaks down at the very end of week 2 and week 3 weather is looking cool with increasing rains.
Thanks for the weather updates ! Tuesday will be interesting !
ANOTHER BUCKEYE, HERE (NW CORNER). IT HAS BEEN QUITE PLEASANT, AS OF LATE. I'M ONE THAT CAN'T TOLERATE HIGH HUMIDITY & DEW POINT.
THE EAST WINDS ARE AN ADDED BONUS, FOR ME & THEY'LL BE HERE FOR 10 DAYS. WITH NO RAIN IN THE FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 10 DAYS, I DO WONDER ABOUT THE CROPS, THO'.
