I spent many hundreds of hours investigating this objectively and this guy is just using more bogus, far right talking points to downplay the significance of what happened.
Which is this, in a nutshell:
Trump tried to overturn the election results every day he was still in office after being defeated by every measure and standard in what proved to be the most secure election in history. He had some diabolical schemes that he wanted to use, including trying to use VP Pence who refused to cooperate(which is why the far right no longer likes Pence).
Trump fired up 10s of thousands of his base to come to Washington to fight for their country on Jan 6 which is THE MAIN CAUSE of the Insurrection not the absurd explanations, like Ray Epps, a so called plant of the FBI that supposedly incited a riot from the peaceful crowd to frame Mr. Victim, Donald J. Trump who was innocent and was just standing up for truth and justice after the Ds stole the election from him.
And the riots of 2020 NOT being prosecuted with gusto(which was wrong) don't give Trump and his Insurrection attempt a free pass. Are you not aware that the Capital building is different/sacred?
That the Constitution and election process that includes the smooth transfer of power based on the results defines our democracy? This is the core foundation of our country's democracy that was violently violated on Jan. 6!!

Did he talk about January 6 before it happened with any employee of the U.S. government? We don't know. We do know that two years after January 6, long after an awful lot of other people have gone to jail for walking around the Capitol building, Ray Epps is still a free man. He's never been charged, much less imprisoned in solitary confinement like so many others. Why is that?

I don't expect anybody to go thru all those threads but I remember most of it and I know with certainty, that every BS republican claim about the election and Insurrection was completely debunked multiple times. Some as many as 15+ times here because I was doing the debunking.
But it never mattered and still doesn't matter to those that support Donald Trump.
The far R sources keep sending out the same messaging to keep their flock believing in it because that false election steal, Insurrection caused by others narrative (and it was intentionally caused to blame and get Trump) gives the far R the most uniting traction.
Claiming that there were undercover FBI agents in the crowd, that could have or should have stopped the rioting if they wanted to is nonsense. Just like claiming that Trump asked for thousands of National Guards troops but Nancy Pelosi called them off because she wanted the riot to happen to get Trump in trouble.
It would be a rational discussion to ask why there wasn't more security/cops(that makes more sense than to blame undercover FBI agents for not doing the job of cops........and much of that blame falls on Trump, who even called off the metal detector devices, stating "they aren't here to hurt me".
This topic will come up again numerous times on MarketForum, regardless of how many times it gets debunked and I will just use this thread as the reference.
I totally understand why it keeps coming up too because I watch Fox and other sources selling this snake oil to their loyal viewers.
I'm very happy to do my part in busting another conspiracy theory/DISinformation/junk science, propaganda and false narrative. .......it's a big reason for me to be here!

New: 9. On Jan. 6th 10s of thousands of peaceful protesters came out to support President Trump. They were incited to riot by an FBI plant, Ray Epps. President Trump told them to be peaceful and even called thousands from the National Guard that day for additional security but Nancy Pelosi called them off in order to frame Trump.
10. The violent/deadly riots in the Summer of 2020 that let most of the crimes go unprosecuted is evidence that people that committed crimes during the Insurrection attempt are innocent and being singled out because they support Donald Trump(victim narrative).

11. The January 6th Committee made up all the facts that were presented, even though the vast the majority of their witnesses were Republicans with accurate, verified evidence, none that were contradicted with credible information outside of the hearings.
12. The judges are all biased against Trump.
13. Tucker Carlson holds the most esteemed, high priest position in the cult and is considered to be another infallible source of information. This far right charlatan has built his own cult by using the same technique's and lies that Trump uses to capture far right brains...... even though his emails told us how he really feels.......the truth that Tucker knows contradicts what he states for ratings so that he can lure the far right into tuning into his shows.

I realize that readers are not likely going to go to all those links in the initial, page 2 response (with many hundreds of posts providing conclusive evidence in this realm) but they are there for anybody that wants to do that.
I was tempted to provide just 1 link that had all of it and not many pages of links in that 1 post(which I will do next time on the next thread like this). However, part of the point is being made with the actual copying of ALL those links, showing the amount of resources used up here(time, mental energy, investigating, analysis, discernment) to discuss this with overwhelming, OBJECTIVE evidence for what is clearly a futile discussion.
I don't pretend its anything other than futile.
Nonetheless, posters are welcome to bring up any topic they want here, especially when they disagree with me. I've learned alot of things and changed my views several times.
However on this particular topic, even though I will watch the entire video and read every word of every article sent from Trump supporters and respond based on that........with an open mind for pieces of new information relating to some elements, it's sort of like after a damn breaks and all the water is gushing out.
If somebody wants to point out that only 24,000 homes will be flooded instead of 25,000 homes flooded........I'll try to address that but instead we have posters here that continue to insist that the damn didn't break and there's no flooding. There are several dozen indisputable facts related to Donald Trump that are locked in stone as indisputable historic, documented facts forever, regardless of what happens today and tomorrow.

When somebody robs a bank..............the robber/criminal is innocent. The security guard should go on trial.
When somebody breaks into your house in a high crime district.......the home owner should go on trial for not stopping it because they should have known that their house would be a target, living in that location for a break in.
When we have a mass shooting involving an unstable person.......everybody that knew this person and the security/cops should be on trial for not stopping it......not the shooter.
