Thanks Mike, great chart!

The weather on Monday will tell us where the next move goes. Huge dichodemy between models.

1. The last 0z  EE continued pretty bullish with 2 week rains below. Only around an inch of rain for most of the Cornbelt. Models like this on Monday will cause a huge gap higher open

2. The last 6z GEFS has close to 2 inches in most places. Models like this and we will be under pressure next week but not sure on the open.

The pattern is shifting westward compared to what we thought on Friday, when it was expected to bring rain eventually near the end of the month from an eastward shift and the El Nino jet kicking in. A continuation of the westward shift will also bring rains but in that case, from the northern stream and an upper trough but it will just take a bit longer that way.

December #corn ends the week looking a bit more like 2012 than 2013, but this story is far from over.

The last 12z EE model was bullish without much rain in the central Cornbelt.

Last EE was still too dry, so higher open.

What Will The Average Yield Of The 2023 US Corn Crop Be?

I WAS OUT TODAY LOOKIN' AT THE FIELDS.  FOR THE MOST PART, CORN WILL BE "KNEE HIGH BY THE 4TH OF JULY" ~ IF YOU'RE AN AVERAGED SIZED 4 YEAR OLD.

THE WHEAT IS SHORT & TURNIN' COLOR.

THE BEANS> THE GROUND IS STILL VISIBLE BETWEEN THE ROWS, BUT... THE PLANTS ARE GREEN.

WE'RE ON TAP FOR 1" OF RAIN BETWEEN SUNDAY & MONDAY

Thanks, Jean!

Here's the last EE, 2  week rains.

Still a bit less than 2 inches some of the driest places of the swestern Cornbelt but more than 2" north and east of that.

Not enough in the drier spots, especially with some heat on the way but still much more than the models showed early in the week.
