Conditions for U.S. #corn & #soybeans each rise 2 percentage points on the week after decent rain coverage this weekend. Spring #wheat is 11% harvested and conditions are well below a year ago.

U.S. #corn conditions have pulled to within 1 point of the year-ago ratings after having been as much as 17 points lower in late June. But the state-level conditions vary drastically from a year ago, for the most part.

A crazy weather path to get here, but yet, here we are.

Great to read ya, Jim.

The much wetter pattern that kicked in late in June came in the nick of time. The additional CO2 also makes crops more drought tolerant.

Still not a great crop but at least not a disaster.
