What's ahead now that Republicans are opening an impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden

The White House is calling the Republicans’ newly-launched impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden “extreme politics at its worst.”

https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/wireStory/ahead-now-republicans-opening-impeachment-inquiry-president-joe-103125688

I don't like Matt Gaetz or any of the far right Rs in office that support Trump, who belongs in prison the rest of his life...........however, the Biden impeachment investigation MUST be done for solid, completely objective/independent reasoning.

Just like Trump's supporters are completely against the investigations and charges against him.........but it must be done to hold him accountable for his crimes even though he was the president.

Who will hold him accountable?

Entities that include those that are biased against him but must stick to the laws and use solid evidence in prosecuting him. There is 10X the evidence needed to convict him.

Same exact thing with Biden. His violations are not nearly as egregious as Trumps but there MUST be accountability for his blatant corruption/violations  just like there should be for Trump. What Joe Biden did as VP was VERY wrong by all standards and deserving of being impeached.........even though that will be impossible in this environment.

Every D, and the MSM will continue to vehemently insist that this is purely political and yes, just like MANY of  those holding Trump accountable are political, the ones holding Biden accountable are political too..........but doing the right thing in this case happens to line up with what they are doing, independent of their extreme political position.

Despite there being a near 0 chance of Biden being removed from office, it's imperative that Americans have the opportunity to see what Joe Biden did and what the DOJ and Ds have been doing to cover it up/censor it.

That's what investigations are for and hopefully, the impeachment process will allow the Rs to uncover even more compelling evidence to go with what they have already (which is pretty compelling to me).

Bidens corruption was worse than Watergate in my opinion but the widespread coverup by all the gatekeepers/media makes it 10X worse than Watergate.

If the United States hopes to move forward, BOTH sides must be held accountable for their corruption. Equal justice applied to Rs AND Ds. That clearly has NOT been the case in recent years with the DOJ and MSM constantly doing back flips to defend and cover up nefarious behavior by Ds but apply deserved justice against Trump.

Trumps 1st retarded impeachment because he was trying to investigate Biden's REAL crimes and the corrupt, 2.5 year Mueller investigation and 50 DOJ officials claiming that Hunter's laptop was a Russian conspiracy theory, and Hillary Clinton getting off completely for her blatant email infractions (by destroying the evidence)  are just a few examples of how one sided the justice system has been, always favoring the left.

Not investigating Biden's crimes would continue this ludicrous one sided justice system.

It will NOT result in impeachment or convictions, as is likely with Trump but that doesn't mean the only party that will try to hold Biden accountible, should not do what the American people elected them to do.

You don't think they were elected to do this??

Then you must think people from your party should be able to violate their oath of office with impunity.

You must think it's ok for Joe Biden to use his position as VP to enrich his family by 10s of millions by violating his oath to serve the United States.

He was put in charge of fighting corruption in Ukraine, using billions in U.S. tax payer funds to help accomplish that. Instead, he EXPLOITED the corruption in Ukraine, working with his experienced, lobbyist son, Hunter as the contact person,  to apply influence peddling(bribing) schemes for his family's personal enrichment while making UKRAINIAN CORRUPTION WORSE, using his elected position of Vice President to accomplish it.

Why did these corrupt foreign entities send tens of millions to the Biden's, that was laundered thru shell companies(that produced NOTHING)  to hide from the IRS and other entities?

Seriously, the claim that the Rs don't have anything and Joe Biden didn't do anything wrong is as delusional and comes from the same "want to believe-land" as the belief that the election was stolen from Trump and he was just practicing his First Amendment right when trying to overturn the election.

The tactic is to just keep repeating

"joe Biden did nothing wrong, the Rs are just being political"

"joe Biden did nothing wrong, the Rs are just being political"

"joe Biden did nothing wrong, the Rs are just being political"

"joe Biden did nothing wrong, the Rs are just being political"

‘Doomerism’: Why scientists disagree with Biden on 1.5 C

https://www.eenews.net/articles/doomerism-why-scientists-disagree-with-biden-on-1-5-c/

“If we don’t keep it below 1.5 degrees centigrade, we lose it all,” he said. “We don’t get to turn it around.”

Last month, Biden went a step further by claiming that there was no way to reset the planet if warming topped 1.5 C.

“Our grandchildren and great-grandchildren are either going to have lives that are decent and honorable and good, or they’re going to be in real trouble,” Biden said at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in California. “If we go to about 1.5 centigrade degrees above where we are now, we’re done. There’s no way to turn it around, according to the scientists that tell us.”

+++++++++++++++

This atmospheric scientist continues to insist that we are having a climate optimum for most life on this massively greening planet that has featured the best weather/climate since the last time that it was this warm.....The Medieval Climate Optimum/Warm Period, 1,000 years ago. That is based on all the authentic science/empirically measured data/observations.

The optimal level of CO2 for most life is just over double the current 420 parts per million. The optimal global temperature is still slightly warmer than this. Despite the warming, cold still kills 10 times more people and 200+ times more life than heat.

Biden is totally making this up for political agenda/corruption in government and science, crony capitalism, fake/misguided environmentalism and dishonest media reporting.

So this is what he thinks defines: “Our grandchildren and great-grandchildren are either going to have lives that are decent and honorable and good, or they’re going to be in real trouble,”

We are in deep trouble right now. Throw the bum out so that we can start fixing it!

Donald Trump continues to destroy all the good Rs and poison the brains of those in the cult that fear him as they act as high priests in his cult as his party implodes thanks entirely to him.

Romney calls it quits

https://thehill.com/newsletters/energy-environment/4203089-romney-calls-it-quits/

Former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Wednesday to gloat after Sen. Mitt Romney announced that he would not run for reelection.

In his post, written in all-caps, Trump called the announcement “fantastic news for America, the great state of Utah, and for the Republican Party.” Trump also referenced Romney (R-Utah) as “Pierre Delecto,” an alias Romney formerly used on X, then Twitter, to like tweets criticizing Trump, among other content.

Trump made his thoughts on Romney’s Senate tenure clear in his post, writing that “he did not serve with distinction” and predicting that Romney would have faced a primary challenge had he decided to run again.

+++++++++++

Romney would have made the best president of this current century by an extremely wide margin. Maybe even better than that. I voted for him in 2012.

Very sad to see Romney go.

Trump's reaction is very typical of his sad sack character.

The same mean, bullying character that got his ars whipped by a feeble, confused, stuttering old man in their 1st debate in 2020 because people are greatly offended by Trumps personality and (lack of) character.

Shutdown watch: A guide to the mad dash to fund the federal government

The government could shut down at the end of the month unless Congress comes to an agreement.

https://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/meetthepressblog/shutdown-watch-guide-mad-dash-fund-federal-government-rcna104638

Right now, there are three scenarios in play:

  • Congress does nothing and shuts down the government at midnight on September 30th;
  • Congress passes one or more continuing resolutions (“CR”) that extend FY2023 funding at current levels until a certain date, moving a potential shutdown date further down the calendar, likely around the Christmas holiday.
  • Congress passes some or all of the 12 separate appropriations bills to fund the government through September 30, 2024, averting a shutdown for some or all of the federal government.

The title of this thread is turning out to be a huge UNDER statement

Biden's speech 10-19-23

https://www.marketforum.com/forum/topic/99807/

I was getting extremely hopeful that the end of the war in Ukraine was getting closer but Biden has found a way to bamboozle another 60 billion from American taxpayers for his war with Putin, at a time when the national debt is destroying our country.

His southern border crisis is wrecking our country.

His fake climate crisis is destroying our wonderful energy delivery system.

His fake green, anti environmemtal wind, solar and battery solutions are wrecking our planet and killing life on it.

His inflation reduction act is making inflation worse.

How is it that this is the person that the Ds have chosen to run again despite the majority of D voters not wanting him?
