Hate(and love)

The most damaging human emotion of all.

It especially damages the person experiencing the hate because they always wish for bad outcomes for the hated party(ies). An eternally pessimistic view that leaves a figurative  hole in their heart which lacks compassion, sympathy, kindness or understanding for fellow human beings that they hate.

We want only bad things to happen to the people/entities that we hate. We constantly look for reasons for the hated person to have committed infractions and never see any good in them.

When groups of people form with hatred of other human beings as a common bond,  it reinforces and amplifies the hatred.

It validates the hatred and empowers the hatred with tribalism/groups of hatred sharing. They exist to demonstrate hatred, often in a form that goes well beyond just WISHING bad things would happen to the hated targets.

Ranging from verbal abuse at the low end to inhumane treatment in the middle to the extreme high end.

Brutal, cold blooded killing like we witnessed with  Hamas hatred for Jews earlier this month.

Sadly, this kind of indoctrinated hate isn't fixable. It's not negotiable because the intense hating party is completely unable to see the position of the side they hate so intensely.

The hate completely blinds them.

Interesting that we have an expression: Love is blind.

That means we overlook flaws in people that we love.

Unconditional LOVE is the most admirable emotion and state of mind that we can have for other human beings.

However, HATE is even more blind!

It's the diametrically opposed opposite of Love is blind and the LEAST admirable emotion and state of mind that we can have as human beings.

It's almost impossible for us to change indoctrinated hatred like that taking place in the Middle East right now.

However, we have 100% control of our own mindsets and can play a surprisingly positive role in our tiny worlds by showing LOVE to the people around us instead of being sucked in by hate that sometimes, seems to be everywhere.

Nobody can make us hate. We have free will.

Nobody can stop us from feeling and  showing love, understanding, tolerance and compassion for others.

We have free will.

People around us are impacted. Maybe just during brief encounters but make no mistake, we have that impact over people for a short while.

Reading this for instance. If you made it to the end, was it uplifting or was it depressing???

The next post will make that answer easy!

How to have fun and create joy while you shop:

People will think that this is crazy.

One of my favorite things to do is grocery shopping at a crowded Walmart or Sam's club(depending on my mood and whether I'm in a hurry or not).

It's an opportunity to apply something extremely positive related to other human beings that strongly connects us, regardless of the race, political party,  religion, gender or sexual preference that often separates us.

While shopping, I pay attention to every single person that is in a position to make eye contact with me and hear me.  Then, when we cross paths,  I will loudly say "Hi!" and look them straight in the eye with a big smile, sometimes waving if they are looking back at me.

I especially like to do it to the people stocking shelves or working, who are often caught off guard(actually, so are many other people).

Surely you can all guess what their response is. Close to 90% will respond back with "Hi" and a few may even start a brief  conversation. Maybe 10% will ignore me intentionally because I will sometimes follow up by getting closer and making sure they heard me.

I've often thought of getting a job as a greeter at the front door of Walmart or other grocery stores. It amazes me that half those people just stand there and they ignore people coming in. I think that job would be great FUN! And getting paid for it!!

Anyway, for the very few seconds that 2 people are having this brief exchange, usually with smiles they both feel good and could care less about the multiple issues which divide people and cause us to hate other people.

For all they know, that other person could be gay, or Jewish or a Democrat.........it's hard to hide race though (-:

For those few seconds, instead of those other defining traits which divide us, both of us are:

HUMAN BEINGS!

And it provides a momentary lift for people having a bad day and adds to the joy of people already having a great day, while you share that joy with them!

Try it and you'll see for yourself!!

LOL  I LOVE YOUR SHOPPING ROUTINE!!  LOL

I USED TO SHOP LATE NIGHT / EARLY MORNING & CHIT CHAT WITH THE EMPLOYEES.

MY FAVORITE THING TO DO WITH CUSTOMERS?  LOL  (YA GOTTA PICK THE RIGHT ONES, THO.)  YA KNOW THE OLD LINE OF: "DO I KNOW YOU?"  WELL,  ASK SOMEONE THAT.  99.9% OF THE TIME, THEY'LL ANSWER WITH: "I DON'T THINK SO." ( HERE'S YOUR CHANCE TO BREAK THE ICE. LOL) YOU RESPOND BACK WITH: "I DIDN'T THINK I DID!"

IF YOU'VE PICKED THE RIGHT ONE, YOU'LL BOTH BE IN HYSTERICS.  HAHAHAHHA

HAVE FUNNNNNNNNNN!  LIFE IS SHORT!

Hate causes us to dehumanize people.

People that are different than us.

People of a different race or nationality.

People of a different religion or no religion.

People of different countries.

People that are mentally ill.

People that have physical disabilities.

People with lower incomes or lower educational backgrounds.

People from a DIFFERENT POLITICAL PARTY!

Again, I strongly denounce all forms of antisemitism(or hate crimes against Muslims, blacks and others) and in fact, would plead for people to recognize the fact that almost no Jews are playing a role in what is going on in Palestine or Gaza. A government is doing that. Punishing Jews for this would be like hate crimes against people in the US because they support Trump or Biden. People have a right to an opinion but even more so, they were born with a nationality that was not their choice that they should be proud of not persecuted for. That goes for their religious faith too!

Getting back to Israel. This is why I've been insisting the only solution that will work in the long run is for Israel to stop abusing the human rights of Palestinians with their hatred and  blatant racism and instead, create a sort of Affirmative action situation like we did in the United States to LIFT UP BLACKS, only do it for Palestinians and make it clear that this is Israel's decision because it wants to LIFT UP PALESTINIANS.

There is a 100% chance that effective messaging of this strategy would gradually turn mortal enemies into people that no longer have a reason to hate Israel. What they have been doing and what they are doing now is the polar opposite and by no coincidence, hatred for Jews around the world is spiking to a record high. This is WRONG but the only way to fight that, is by stopping the root cause for it.

After a month of thinking about this, I am convinced this is the only way for Israel to have a peaceful existence in the future, which is what we should all want. And to give others a reason to NOT hate them.

"We've recovered mostly from the pandemic of COVID but we have another pandemic in the United States. HATRED.

And its being INTENTIONALLY spread by many to most of our politicians (who use it to fire up their base against the opposition) and in the media, especially sources like Fox News.

We use hatred to DEhumanize people that are different than us and that we disagree with.  So that we can justify doing harm to them."

Nobody can make us hate or love them.

in most cases, we give them what we feel they deserve based on our perception of their behavior or what they represent to us.

We have the power to consciously decide to give people more of our love than what they deserve.

The cool thing is that it’s not like giving money or giving things that require time.

Those things are limited and run out.

It’s the complete opposite with love. Not only is the supply unlimited but the more of it we give, the more loves grows, not shrinks inside of us.

Adding to that even more is the increase of love that we get back from our gift of love to others.

It’s easy and natural to love a lovable person. Everybody can do this and it’s a great thing.

Loving an unlovable person is a bit much if that person doesn’t deserve it. In that case, at least don’t hate them…..even when they give you good reason to hate them.

Hatred for SOME  people in your heart will go a long  way towards cancelling out the benefits of having love for OTHER people.

.......oh yeah!

Just to let you know, I started this SPECIFIC thread on October 17, 2023, in a large part as a  response to the attack on Israel by Hamas BEFORE the response in Gaza became the focus!

Same messages as in many previous threads/posts but trying to make them more compelling here.

Today's verdict in NY is another example of the negative impact that hate can generate when corrupt powerful politicians and corrupt, key players in the  justice system collude, along with using a location gushing with hate for a person to select a jury from.

The TDS people are all celebrating tonight.

Motivated by HATE not justice.

Twisting their justice standard like a pretzel so that it supports their hate for Donald Trump.

I detest Donald Trump intensely...........but respect ALL human beings and their rights as citizens of the United Stated of America.

ESPECIALLY when I disagree with them and ESPECIALLY when they are different than me.

New Report: Reported Hate Crimes Increase During Elections

https://civilrights.org/blog/new-report-reported-hate-crimes-increase-during-elections/

And while not all hate crimes and hate incidents are committed by white supremacists, as the paper outlines, white supremacists have been particularly active during the last four presidential elections

+++++++++++++++++++=

We can tell a liberal entity was the biased source of this report. It makes some good points but is blatantly targeting the "the other side" and blaming them for most of it.

As if there is no such thing as Trump Derangement Syndome(TDS) contributing to massive amounts of hate in our country.

This is what they recommended, to prove my point:

In this paper — the most recent publication in The Education Fund’s “Cause for Concern” series first published in 1997 — The Education Fund provides the following recommendations for how to address the current state of hate ahead of a deeply concerning 2024 election cycle:

  • Social media platforms must invest in de-platforming hate for the upcoming local, state, and national elections.
  • The federal government must confront and address white supremacist violence without further criminalizing communities of color, religious minorities, and other marginalized communities.
  • Congress must mandate hate crime data collection and reporting.
  • Public officials must speak out against hate.

+++++++++++++++=

And many to most on the left will twist the interpretation of TDS like a pretzel to claim it's not real:

Is "Trump Derangement Syndrome" a Real Mental Condition?

All you need to know about "Trump Derangement Syndrome," or TDS.

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/talking-about-men/201901/is-trump-derangement-syndrome-real-mental-condition

Contrariwise, many others ridicule the notion that TDS is anything but a malicious slur term used to discredit and delegitimize criticism of President Trump. For example, CNN’s Chris Cillizza may speak for many when he stated: "The truth is that TDS is just the preferred nomenclature of Trump defenders who view those who oppose him and his policies as nothing more than blind hatred." Likewise, Adam Gopnik writes that "our problem is not TDS; our problem is Deranged Trump Self-Delusion."

++++++++++++++++

Sounding the alarm over TDS

https://thefulcrum.us/sounding-the-alarm-trump-derangement-syndrome

TDS is usually used by supporters of the former president or some in the media to discredit criticisms of Trump’s words or actions. It is a way of reframing the debate by suggesting that those who speak out against Trump are incapable of discerning what they just witnessed. It is used to exhaust and disparage those who speak out in defense of liberal democratic values. My fear is that these attacks are working.

+++++++++++++++++++++++

There you go, folks! TDS is a made up term to vilify anybody that doesn't like Trump. I will say that the term is often abused by MAGA people. mcfarm has accused me of having TDS several times here because I was holding Trump accountable for one of his countless incidents of bad behavior based on authentic facts.

Regardless of what you want to call it, the fact remains that:

1. Trump causes TDS  by his behavior. I greatly dislike Trump personally. I get this!

2. The hate for him is real. But for millions, it's a pathological hate!

3. It's very unhealthy/harmful to our country. The assassination attempt is just a small example of a deranged mindset driven by TDS. Multiply this by tens of millions that are NOT deranged but have similar feelings........NOT GOOD FOR THE MENTAL HEALTH AND SYMBIOSIS OF OUR 2 POLITICAL PARTIES!

4. This is absolutely NOT meant to ignore all the other very serious hate crimes..........Antisemitism, Islamophobia, Xenophobia, racism and so on. Just to point out one that the left, which claims to be the authority on this topic........REFUSES TO ADDRESS WITH THE SAME GUSTO!
