That article was written with respect to the R party because Trump was president at the time. I contend that the D party is not ignorant they crystal clearly can see that Biden is a big loser for them. Over 2/3rds of Ds do not want him to run and 80% say they would vote for ANY D other than Biden.

Then I send a resume and cover letter to every single tv station in small and medium sized markets in the country(50 of them). Including the Weather Channel in Atlanta which hadn't started yet. I went to the public library and got all the information, including the names of news directors and general managers for the existing tv stations.

Turns out that they still got me my first job in Cincinnati at WLWT-TV working for "Weather Scene" a private weather forecasting company that did radio, ag and industrial weather. The reason was that Dale Dawkus who worked for them, got hired by the Weather Channel and Weather Scene/WLWT had just received my resume searching for a job. So I was Dale's replacement in February, 1982!
After 7 months in Cincinnati doing radio weather from 11p-7a, I would come back in the early afternoons and practice in the tv studio with the understanding of it being practice for me to by on WLWT-TV. But it wasn't really. I used it to make a copies of my best tape and send to dozens of tv stations, including Fairbanks AK that had a job open. I subscribed to a weekly broadcasting magazine/publication that posted all the jobs. I also sent another copy of just my resume and cover letter to the original 50 places I contacted before and now, I had some experience.
Just so happens that John Bernier at WEHT in Evansville had just given his 2 week notice to take a position in Cleveland and my resume/cover letter came in the mail that day.
The General Manager liked me alot (he had a son that was a bodybuilder and so was I) and so they offered me the job as chief meteorologist in September, 1982.
The guy before John Bernier was Chuck Gaidica, who was a gifted communicator. He was in Detroit then and my parents were all excited that maybe I could follow the same path and be back in my hometown.
I was never as gifted as Chuck but was #1 in the market for around 7 years and stayed for 11 years.
In 1985, The Weather Channel wanted to hire me! WOW! My dream job! However, I'd just gotten married and had a daughter from my wifes first marriage that was in 1st grade and her entire family lived here.........so I turned them down.

1. People have empathy for other human beings when they are sick.

4. Under that scenario, his ratings would jump way higher from people not fearing the additional damage of him going a 2nd term.
5. Then the party could get on with pushing Gavin Newsome or whoever it is. With the exiting Biden possibly gaining back enough support that he could help Gavin.
6. Almost forgot. If Biden was elected in 2024, there's no way he could finish so his VP would take over. Kamala for president? That should be the slogan for Trump to get elected (-: in order for him to maximize NOT Kamala Harris votes.
7. Biden could pick Gavin as his new VP but most Ds would MUCH prefer Gavin as the president, so its a dumb strategy to go with anything but the winning strategy.

1. The comments from the justice department (Hur report) about Biden's age and memory were clearly subjective and political, intending to hurt Biden. Only a person that votes R in the justice department would have ever made those unnecessary, editorial comments. They were true but still really not appropriate at all in a report like this.
2. Trump has been known to say more false, crazy, volatile and delusional things in 1 hour than Biden says in a month. Biden is afflicted with age related cognitive issues that impact his ability to communicate which is an extremely important part of being the president. Trump in seriously deranged and mentally ill by every legit psychological standard. He's very delusional and has extreme grandiosity. Instead of professional help, he's been getting maximum positive reinforcement for 10s of millions of people that worship him in cult leader type fashion. They believe everything he says and they believe he's a victim all the time(because the swamp DOES actually target him much of the time. Sometimes Trump does commit crimes and his flock is unable to discern between those times because they look the same on the surface.
3. Biden appears to have maintained most of his ability to use judgment in decision making. I absolutely would not call it GOOD judgment but instead, he is very capable of understanding political stunts/tricks employed by his administration to bamboozle Americans to generate votes for him or support for his mostly bad agenda. For instance, his political stunt to kill natural gas exports and undercut the US natural gas industry What he did in Ukraine to kill 600,000 people and decimate that country for his political agenda and war against Putin. His horrible for America's energy sector and economy, fake green agenda. HIS intentional border crisis. He understands with clarity and this is personally, why I could never vote for him even if he was 45 and at the top of his game.
4. Lets also be clear that a huge part of being president it how you communicate. This plays into how credible you are, even when bs-ing and telling people on your side what they want to hear. Ds want to be told what they want to hear from silver tongued oritors like President Clinton or Obama. You want the spokesperson that represents you........sells your ideologies/political positions with clarity and convincing gusto.
To have a robust appearance and delivery.
Obama or Clinton doing exactly what Biden has for 3 years would have positive ratings 20 points higher. Towards the end of their first terms, Ds were in extremely strong support of them running for a 2nd term. Now, something like 2/3rds of Ds DON'T want Biden to run again. Once you have a negative rating like that there is no going back. People are more likely to lose enthusiasm for somebody they like or.........if on the fence will go to one side of the other but when your ratings are that low, all you can do is go into damage control mode and try to recover enough to make it LESS BAD. Biden would lose to every R in history running and the only reason he has a chance is he's running against the most hated person in US political history.
It's really just a race to see who is hated the most. The least hated becomes president by default. Not because they are qualified or deserve to be president which clearly, neither of them should be but because the loser in November is the worst qualified to be president in history according to voters and the winner in November will be the 2nd worst presidential candidate in history based on the polls/peoples opinions of these 2 men.
5. The Ds have been trying to pretend that Biden is not really compromised from age. Stating that he's ok and repeating it over and over and over to convince themselves and other Ds to ignore what they see with their eyes and ears and call it something other than what it really is. What happened this week forced a rude and painful wake up call to their pretend Biden is ok fairy tale.
6. I think that Biden coming out defensive and then blundering on his Middle East discussion by calling the president of Egypt, the president of Mexico actually proved that he DOES have cognitive issues and it backfired. Also, if he had NOT come out so defensive and furious, it will make his withdrawing from the race look much more graceful and sincere. Now he would have to go from vehemently insisting he's very qualified (and most people NOT believing him) to suddenly abandoning that position. If he had not make such a huge deal about it, he wouldn't have drawn additional attention to it, added to the damage and have been in a position to withdraw, while having believanble sincerity. Now, he'll look like an inconsistent, less believable hypocrite. How do you explain a complete change in such a short period? If he says a health issue, how did that suddently happen overnight? The only honest thing would be for him to say that he spent alot of time thinking and changed his mind.......that his party (and he) think that its time for a younger person because the Ds in our country have been screaming out that message loud and clear. It's time that their party actually listens to them not keep forcing this way over the hill guy on them.
I would totally believe that and most Americans would too. Even Rs!
7. Biden had a wonderful legacy going thru his time as VP. Long lived person in Congress, then as VP. He was one of the more liked guys as VP. This helped him get elected but the biggest factor was him being NOT Donald Trump. He's been his own worst enemy destroying his legacy the last 3 years.
In the history books, people are not going to remember his first 2 times running for president and not getting to the finals. Or what he did as VP for Obama.
They will be remembering his time as president. With his poll numbers plunging to extreme lows and getting worse, should he be defeated in November, he will be known by many as the WORST president in history.

One of the things that blows my mind is the lack of discussion about the impact of Joe Bidens TWO brain aneurysms in 1988.
Could the condition, then brain surgery cause compromised brain functionality and early onset Alzheimer/Dementia?

I went back to look at the circumstances of Biden's 2 brain surgeries. One of his 2 aneurysms involved a brain bleed( slow leaking hemorrhage) that caused him to lose consciousness for 5 hours. When running tests, they found blood in his spinal fluid(after a spinal tap and realized his brain was bleeding/hemorrhaging).
It's pretty amazing that he survived that one but he had the best doctors/surgeon in the world. However, a brain bleed like that most certainly caused SOME tissue damage. It's impossible to know the exact amount.

I have Ehlers Danlos, a connective tissue disorder with numerous family history strokes(Moms side, 2 brothers died from it and 2 for her), aneurysms(Dad) , hernias(Dad had 3 and me 5) and hemorrhoids (me 3 operations).

I've listened to this guys statements the past several years and the all ring EXTREMELY CREDIBLE!
The smartest thing that the Ds could do for their party right now is to vote WITH THE Rs and impeach Joe Biden.
