Sorry you had to be exposed to one of vandy's posts before I had time to delete it.
He is permanently banned, after being suspended for a record 7 times, then allowed to come back but then continuing to post personal attacks against our rules here.
Regardless of him and I (and you) agreeing strongly on Donald Trump, MarketForum will ALWAYS be wide open to views from everybody about everything(especially views that disagree with me) but not be a place for predator trolls, a term that I use for people that use forums to use their hatred for other people to make personal attacks.
I have given mcfarm's posts that sometimes violate this policy a wide berth because he is posting sincerely with what he actually believes as a member of MAGA.
We can get a better understanding of what MAGA actually believes when mcfarm posts here.
He's also a producer and friend from Indiana that has made many positive contributions on farming and other things.
mcfarm is his own worst enemy but his lack of posting here the past few months is not because he's not always welcome.
mcfarm is always welcome here but I will call him out respectfully when he is full of doo doo!

That was mcfarm's last post. I will assume that he prefers MAGA echo chambers and not places that challenge MAGA views but regardless, MarketForum is an ANTI echo chamber that speaks out against BOTH sides when that sides speaks with a fork tongue.
In this age of people having so many different choices to get the news they want to read and that they wish was true and interact with others with the same belief systems this is not only understandable but it's expected.
It makes my job much easier here. Battling X number of anti vax posters with 1,000 debunking, authentic factual posts based on science or battling X number of 2020 election denier or Insurrection posters here with 1,000 debunking, authentic truth posts took a ton of work.
Same with the fake climate crisis posts, although those have actually resulted in more positive dividends including, the founder of MarketForum and good friend, Alex McCallum completely changing his view on climate change.
After he passed his wife Kate was the one that told me that.
You may have noticed vandy posting again today and at other times here.
Even after all these years of being banned, his pathological thinking keeps him coming back. Hating mcfarm years after the last internet encounter with the guy was at least 7 years ago when I finally banned him forever.
That's ok with me. I usually never even read whatever he wasted his time typing up and with 1 click, poof it's gone and he just punished himself when he could have spent that same amount of time doing something more productive with his life than posting something that nobody ever read here.
This profoundly validates my decision to permanently ban him 7 years ago.
